Chapter 53

Embra and Esdeath's date lasted for a week where they went to many islands with interesting features, such as the Boin Islands where foods is abundant but, can be addictive, Eversnow island where snow always falls, and other islands on Grandline. Their journey was not seen by any one or they didn't met any kind of peoblem on the sea because they are traveling above the clouds. And now, they have arrived back on Castaway Island where the base of Sunset pirate is.

Esdeath is completely satisfied with the date and she could not ask for more except for being with him alone forever. But, she cannot ask for that, as she knows that Embra has a big heart. Embra saw it and to solve this, he had a long night with all of his three wives, Esdeath, Senjumaru, and Grayfia. Next morning, Esdeath wakes up in a huge bed where sleeping figures of her sisters and Embra enter her view.

'Ah. So, Husband arranged last night because he caught on my thoughts? *sigh* How foolish of me to think, I can possess husband alone when all my sister equally love him. Belfast is even carrying his first child now... You can't be greedy, Esdeath. we all should equally love husband together and support him to the best of our ability. That is our duties. Hm.' (Esdeath's thought)

Esdeath was made to aware of that fact and thoughts of taking Embra as her only man disappear from her mind. After that brief thinking, Esdeath's mind become refreshed again and she feels a weigh lifts off from her shoulder.

After breakfast, Embra, three queens and six generals gather in a meeting room to talks about somethings that happened in a week. As usual, Grayfia talked about the news she got on some interesting individuals, what is happening in the four blue and things to watch out for in the grand line. If possible, she wants to extend her reaches to new world but, Embra did not let her as they don't have a base there. So, if Grayfia is in trouble, no one can come to her rescue.

Next, Krul, Ryuko, and Mimosa gives report about development on the island and how it become more suited to living now while Koko and Shizuku reports about situations on economic and some other business. And, last but not least, Edel, Izumi, and Morgiana reports on their training. After her, Senjumaru gives report about the situation on WG and marine. And, it seems, there is a strange movement in WG and islands they own, according to scout teams from Akatsuki, sent to South blue.

"World Military Draft?" (Embra)

"Yes. Generally, it is a soldier recruitment order from WG to its 170 allied countries. But, this time, people from various backgrounds are also being recruited by marine. And, what is strange is, some islands from South blue are restricted entry now. Those islands have weather or environment, not suitable for living. SO, they are neglected but, this time, they are openly restricted by WG." (Senjumaru)

"Hm... Did they built a secret lab for weapons or did the WG found something precious there? Wait. there is also an another possibility." (Embra)

"Yes. I was also thinking the same. It seems, they gets serious now." (Esdeath)

"Well, with pirates like Gol D. Roger, Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom rampaging throughout the New World like that, it should give a serious headache to WG. Added to that, there is a pirate crew bold enough to assault the C.D, they should be taking this seriously." (Grayfia)

"So, in other word, WG is going to create an army which consists of strong individuals from WMD and train them on the restricted islands? Is that it?" (Edel)

"Yes, Edel. That very much conclude what is happening right now. If possible, I want to put some spy but, this is WG we are talking about. So, let's not risk our people and takes another approach." (Embra)

"Ah, are you perhaps going to turn some individuals to our people?" (Senjumaru)

"Yep. Senjumaru, let Koko assist you this time. Koko, start thinking from how to support the WMD event in anyway. I will provide 15 billion to you. Don't use it all, if possible but, use if it seems benefits to us. Oh and, there is a new usage for your DF which I have thought about. It is called 'sleeping agent'. I will teach you about it later." (Embra)

"Y,Yes." (Koko)

"Shizuku, you try to get your hands on weapon industry and blacksmithing. I will give you 5 billion as funds. So, try to get a footing by yourself. If it is not possible, ask Grayfia for help. We need to get a grasp on how the weapons are moving behind the scene between countries and WG. Seeing that, we can calculate a bit on how big of the new army or organization, that WG is planning to build for us, will be." (Embra)

"Y,Yes." (Shizuku)

"so, last topic, how do we keep an eye on marine? It seems Grayfia's spy was exposed, right?" (Embra)

It was just three days ago that Grayfia's spy, or rather informant from marine, and one of Embra's summon was exposed by Sengoku's investigation. It seems that fact that, the information on DF users in marine being known by pirates did not sit well with him. Hearing this, Senjumaru scoffed a little,

"Well, that KinZō was using his brain this time, it seems. Maybe, it is his so called 'cleaning of evil' before he take the fleet admiral position." (Senjumaru)

"Now, last but not least, I want your opinion on Kaga and Miyu? Do you think, they are up for taking on either Koko's duties of outside trading or Grayfia's duties of Alba newspaper." (Embra)

That is one thing, that Embra like to know as he thought of reducing workload on Koko and Grayfia. Moreover, he wants to give some work to the freeloading fox and rabbit. So, Grayfia reported first as she and Senjumaru have been entrusted by Embra to teach the two of them a thing or two.

"Kaga would be perfect for taking Koko's place if she were to learn for another six months. As for Miyu, let's just say that, she is not talented for serious business like these. But, she would be perfect for creating friendly relationship with other merchants and big companies if she were to be representatives or maybe as an idol or a mascot character." (Grayfia)

"I am also in the same view as Sister Grayfia. Kaga is smart and intelligent but, more importantly, she is sharp. That is the most essential skill in business. So, she would be perfect. I also think, she will be perfect for taking care of Alba newspaper but, she would shine in business. As for Miyu, she has her own charm but, she will be a lost cause when it comes to business and managing an organization but, she can be trained as she has strength and motivation to get better. That is how I see them." (Senjumaru)

When they shared their honest opinions, Embra is a little amazed that they have a really accurate reading on the two. He has already prepared for Kaga to take Grayfia's place of Information Gathering and managing Alba newspaper. So, after hearing the opinion, he come to a decision on what position he should gives to the two. He decided to leave Miyu in Koko's care as Koko has already learned about business and its strategies for more than two years from modern books in the library of Sakura Kingdom.

"Ho. Ho. I see. Let's do both. Koko try to teach Miyu about business and negotiation. " (Embra)

"Certainly, my King. I have to train her enough to be Amaterasu's idol, right?" (Koko)

"Yes. Grayfia, try to nurture Kaga to be able to take your position." (Embra)

The meeting soon over after that and Embra decided to train with the generals while thinking about whether he should let Izumi and Mito change places with each other so that, Mito can enjoy the outside world. 'The available ways are many but, if WG decided to not exposed our spies but, instead used against us, we would be troubled. So, something needs to be considered very carefully. Oh right. Maybe I should go there together with Senjumaru and Koko. That way, maybe I can find him.... Dragon, the future leader of revolutionary. I don't know where and how he is doing right now because nothing about him is mentioned yet in the manga yet but, I am sure he is working for WG or marine somehow. So, we need to get contact with him. If he is in the same mind as us, that would be most assuring. Other than him, there are also some characters I want to meet. I hope they are there.' (Embra's thought)

As Embra is trying to get his eyes and ears in the WMD of WG, many organizations in the world are also trying to get their hands in the event. Many experienced and sharp individuals has also caught on the fact that, Government is trying to create an army or an armed force to handle the pirate problem. And of course, the news also reached to Roger Pirates who have arrived at Saboady from New World. Their informant is none other than Shakky, which only Rayleigh has connection to. Rayleigh lets Roger knows about her but, he does not let him know about their relationship or history. Naturally, he does not let Roger come when he meet with Shakky.

"He told you like that? What is the message?" (Rayleigh)

"I was paid to only tell you when you are in actual trouble, you know?" (Shakky)

"I see. He just come in to the bar with Esdeath after having a date on the island while being chased by Garp and Sengoku. And, when he comes, he told you that he knows about us before giving you the message, huh? Didn't it sound like he already knows everything about us and even Roger?" (Rayleigh)

"That is what I have been saying, Ray-san. He is mysterious. That is for sure. His motive is unknown but neither he nor Esdeath shows a intent on killing me or you. Moreover, he paid me to give a message, only when you are troubled. He said he knows what you will be troubled with but, just don't know when. So, he gave me 500 million for that and this box. This is some good stuff, I haven't had before. Anyway, Seeing that, it might not be a trap, at all." (Shakky)

"I see, so he buy you off." (Rayleigh)

"*Evil Smile* DO you want to be kicked out of here so soon, Ray-san?" (Shakky)

"c-cough. I was just joking." (Rayleigh)

The two are conversing over a cup of alcohol and a cigar on their mouth. Of course, the cigars are from Embra's gift which Shakky called 'good stuff' and while it is indeed good, it does not sit well with Rayleigh to know that someone knows their future journey. But, unfortunately, he did not get the message from his future wife. So, he just decided to spend time alone with Shakky while enjoying her company and rest a bit.
