CHAPTER 4: DAY TWO IN BURROWS

Hearing Mrs. Weasley now my mom's voice I started to wake up from sleep and responded

"I'm up now"

Then opening the door for toilet, after bathing and dressing, after putting old clothes in laundry bags got down and headed for dining table for morning breakfast. After breakfast, calling for Ginny and then started practicing Lumos spell with old wand and reviewing yesterday's progress with Ginny. After maintaining spell stable for more than minute I started practicing with its counter spell Nox. Unlike Lumos its counter spell doesn't require much concentration it succeeded at once. After getting hang of lumos and its counter spell we stopped, Ginny also closed the book of spells.

It was afternoon already, we both came down and sat on couch till mom called for lunch, after Fred and George invited both of us for playing exploding snap, it was a game with various play types such as classical in which you can explode cards with same pair instead of regular muggle cards these cards are made up with pictures of magical creatures, its fun when they explode.

While playing I kept them asking knowledge of know-how about staying in Hogwarts. They kept telling me about their adventures and pranks they played. After going to Hogwarts, they pay less attention on playing pranks on me but they prank Percy often now. Because of his change in attitude after going to Hogwarts. They also don't know where they kidnapped Percy's Scabbers and told me spell that transform its color to yellow and how cool is the spell. I knew they scamming me like always as seen in plot it wasn't a spell at all. They had fed Scabbers hair color changing candy and were fooling me with the spell.

But seeing the mouse Scabbers I started of thinking of this Animagus Peter Pettigrew, I know if I told this to anyone this would spell butterfly effect and plot will change drastically as Scabbers is deeply involved in plot so I decided to keep it as it is when I get it as a pet from Percy, I will keep it compulsory in cage so it will not be able to spy on Weasley family members who knows if it is perverted and will spy when Mrs. Weasley in bath or naked.

After making my plan in my mind, I got back in my own room checking out books about first year. After up and down of whole books I packed them up again. I was not that into studying and there will be Hermione with me to give me guidance so I was not worried about it except for potions class as reason of professor Snape.

So only keeping text book of spells and Potions Book Magical Drafts and Potions in which information and formation of potions is written.

But can only be read as it is costly to start practicing potion with materials. As these ingredients for potions are enough only for classes, if failed in potions class resupply can be available for cheap ingredients. It is costly to be a potion maker so talent is a necessity and I know I can only be able to produce average potions for passing.

Then decided to memorize basics of potions as not to be embarrassed by Snape when he is hunting for mistakes.

Besides potions and their ingredients, other information was covered in the first year as well. The basic details on preparation of the Draught of Living Death, along with the nature of various ingredients, such as Infusion of Wormwood, Powdered Root of Asphodel and Aconite.[3] The class also covered the twelve uses of dragon blood,[18] the types of cauldrons, and the types of phials used in potion-making. Bezoars were briefly mentioned and the Standard Ingredient was also used in most beginner potions.

As I started studying these things till I was bored. Then went to Ginny's room to chat then, after dinner my second day ended.
