2,000 years ago there lived an evil vampire princess who was the most beautiful woman on the surface of the earth. She was the offspring of a fallen immortal and a wicked vampire. Her name was Michelle Sampson.

Michelle's name and that of her parents were the most dread name on earth. Because her mother is a vampire and her father an immortal, she possessed both traits from her parents. With such a rare combination of species bearing such an offspring, she became the most powerful being the world has ever produced. Because of her unrivalled powers, she was feared more than her parents.

Princess Michelle Sampson, even when she was a little girl was feared because of her powers and the influence of her family. None of the other vampires (ranging from elderly or young ones) dared to challenge her because of how evil the little girl was.

Her wickedness skyrocketed when she grew up into a young lady. Everyone trembled whenever her name is mentioned. That was the kind of power her name possesses.

One day she and her maids went for a walk in the night. Her maids who knew their Young Mistress temperament very well knew that she wasn't just going out for a walk as she said. They knew how bored she has been for the past two days, she was in dire need of where to unleash her terror on. Hearing people cry in anguish and misery is the only thing which excites her, they knew that very well. That is why they could not help but pity those who will cross path with her tonight.

Just then a handsome guy who was in the company of his guards greeted her and walked passed them without sparing her a glance.

"Stop there!" Came the princess cold voice. The guy who also went out to get fresh air halted instantly. He turned and glared at her. Even though this was his first time meeting her, his eyes were filled with hatred and not with fear like other people's gaze and this annoys the Princess.

"How dare he gazed at me with a gaze filled with contempt? Doesn't he value his life anymore," Michelle thought scrutinizing the tall handsome guy from head to toe? Ordinary ladies would have fallen in love at first sight with this handsome man but not this lady standing before him. She is Princess Michelle who has dined with the rarest species of handsome men all over the world. Numerous of these men serve as her daily meal so she did not see anything special about him.

"Identity," came the princess voice again as she moved about the guy in circle.

"Arthur, the son of the prime minister," came the guy's voice. His voice was as calm as still water and this further upsets the Princess. She was intrigued to know what was responsible for the man's unrivalled boldness.

"Prime minister's son?" Michelle asked confused. "I never knew the senile old fool had such a fine-looking man as a son. I bet he hid you away because of me," Michelle said coldly, an evil smirk visible on her face. Her gaze was on his expression to see whether she will see a shift in his expression. She was taken aback yet again when the man's expression remained unchanged. His heartbeat was as calm as still water. That is to show her that the man before her did not think highly of her.

"Arthur, I will not beat around the bush as many people do. I will say how I feel here," the Princess said bringing her face closer to his neck. She had expected for him to start shivering or for his heartbeat and breathing to become erratic but nothing like that happens.

He is such an interesting guy. I guess the senile old man did not tell him about me. I will surely have a thirst of him tonight to spite that old fool who thinks he is smarter than me.

Michelle thought smiling wickedly.

"My Princess is free to say whatever pleases her," Arthur said moving two steps backwards. Her closeness irritates him.

This is so thrilling, so he actually knew who I am but he isn't trembling at my feet asking for mercy? This is the first time I have ever seen someone as bold as him in my twenty years of existence. I want him.

Michelle thought licking her lower lips lecherously.

"I have taken a liking to you. I want to know what is your take about me first before we move to the important aspect of our discussion," Michelle said seriously.

"I heard I am the fairest of them all in the universe, what is your take about that?" Michelle asked giving him a piercing gaze.

"Fairest of them all?" Arthur scoffed to the bewilderment of his guards and the maid watching the show unravelled.

Even Michelle was shocked at the man's reaction to her question. She had planned to keep him as her toy for a long time but she changed her mind about that. "An insignificant fool like him does not deserve such luxury," Michelle murmured in annoyance.

"Your beauty is just so so," Arthur mocked. At first glance, Arthur knew the identity of the woman standing before him.

How could he not know her when she is the most beautiful woman he has ever set eyes on? But how could he dare to admit that she is the most beautiful woman on the surface of the earth when she is the same person who has made life a living hell for his father? She and her parents' cruelty were the reason he was hidden away in such a dark place unable to set his eyes on sunlight for over twenty years.

He loathes the royal family, especially the Princess who goes about causing chaos in the Empire. His father has told him that humans are just like insects to the royal family. They trampled on them however they like.

He is not like his father or everyone else who are scared of the royal family. He has heard that the Princess is a half-vampire and half immortal but he is not afraid of them. To him, they are nothing but tyrants like those he had read from books. He believes that they are not invincible as everyone assumes, they just need groups of brave people to defeat them.

"Did you just say our princess beauty is so so?" Athena who thinks so highly of the princess asked advancing towards Arthur. Her eyes turned crimson red and her long fangs instantly shoot out.
