With the glass container opened, Agatha was able to sniff the foul aroma of the potion, making her believe it even more to be poison.
And of course, Lawrence had long known about the foul aroma contained in the Aetherforge Elixir, but what could be done?
Would you really refuse to drink something that smelled foul compared to gaining the ability to construct a mana core?
Lawrence was positive anyone would be willing to consume it in one go if they knew about the effect of drinking it.
In fact, everyone would be eager to fight amongst each other to even get the opportunity to drink this foul-smelling potion.
It was just a shame that the Aetherforge Elixir was still relatively new, considering it was recently successfully concocted by Ezekiel. Thus, no one knew about it or even dared to drink a purple-colored drink that was synonymous with toxicity.
Hence, Lawrence was truly going through his ways to make Agatha willingly drink it.
One main aspect for the Aetherforge Elixir to work was that the person drinking it must be willing and prepared for it. Otherwise, the effect would be halved, resulting in a high chance of failure in constructing a mana core.
After all, nothing was ever absolute in this world, so Lawrence didn't mind continuing to play the villain to ensure Agatha's future would be bright.
'Back then, you appeared in front of me with powerful strength. I might not know what you have gone through, but you are definitely talented enough to construct one.' Lawrence exclaimed inwardly, believing this hurdle should be nothing for Agatha.
All she lacked was the chance and opportunity to do so.
Being violated was one of the shackles, and her other shackle was her mother's sickness.
With these two shackles, how could she possibly concentrate on herself to improve?
Henceforth, Lawrence decided to break one of her shackles today, and whether she wished to have that shackle was up to her.
But knowing her future self in the alternative timeline, Lawrence was confident Agatha would know what to choose.
The alternative timeline was now being used since the future that Lawrence had experienced ceased to exist the moment he returned to the past. Which meant that he could create a butterfly effect, altering what the future would depict.
And Lawrence was not the type to leave things up to her fate or blame it on destiny.
Only the weak-willed individuals would blame it on "destiny" for their incapabilities.
"So make your choice already, Agatha." Lawrence subsequently said annoyingly.
"My hand is about to be sore from holding the glass container. It's just two choices, you either drink it or you don't." He added, reminding her that the choices were up to her.
Time was ticking down, and Agatha could only grit her teeth. She wanted to simply nod her head in response, but this bastard was truly evil.
Why was he evil?
The answer was simple.
Lawrence ensured that every inch of her body was restrained by his mana, meaning she couldn't even make a simple gesture as nodding to respond.
The only way to respond was to open her mouth and tell him straight up. In other words, he was forcing her to converse with him regardless if she was willing or not.
Sure, doing such things might cause her to hate him even more, but Lawrence didn't care.
She already hated him to the maximum value possible, depending on what type of maximum value was in her mind. So who cares if he added more hatred on top of it?
Not to mention, this would be beneficial for Agatha anyway.
Having hatred meant her motivation would be intense and deadly compared to others who merely wanted to become strong for some stupid reason such as flexing their pathetic strength to beauties.
"If you don't answer me, then I'll just take it as you refuse. Sigh, what a poor mother. Having a daughter that refused to have her cure." Lawrence flashed a pitiful expression, clearly taunting her.
Meanwhile, his actions seemed to have agitated Agatha's mother on the bed as she wished to get off.
It was just a shame that Lawrence wasn't going to let her interrupt his plan. As she attempted to make a movement, Lawrence subsequently split his concentration to restrain Agatha's mother as well, albeit much milder.
This action of him was very sneaky– to the point that Agatha remained ignorant about it.
I mean, what can Lawrence say? He was one damn talented individual that could control his mana in such a precise manner.
It was as if god or goddess was just blessing him with everything. Handsome face and powerful as well.
Just how much of a retard was he back then?
Luckily, those retardedness had long been decimated ever since he assumed the role of a commander and matured up.
As Lawrence was being extremely narcissistic about his qualities, Agatha finally answered him for who knows how long?
This woman only knew how to stall, but all he could do was wait. If it wasn't for the fact that he was in the wrong and needed redemption, he would have long given the opposing party an uppercut punch to the chin.
"I'll drink it," Agatha responded with a resolute tone.
"Are you sure about it?" Lawrence raised an eyebrow and asked cautiously.
"I'm not going to force you if you're not drinking it." He added, making sure that she was willing to drink it on her own regard.
"Yes, but you promised to cure my mother if I drank it. So you better fulfill that." Agatha hissed coldly, her eyes seemed as if it was able to kill him.
Too bad for her though, eyes can't kill people.
But eyes containing traces of mana that could shoot at others would be able to.
Will he teach her though?
Hell no!
Why would he do something that would harm him?
Snapping his fingers, Lawrence lowered the altitude of Agatha below his waist.
Afterward, he grinned wickedly as he angled the glass container near his lower part, resembling a depiction of him using the toilet for relief.
"Here you go, drink it." Lawrence calmly said.
"You motherfucker!" Agatha, finally unable to contain the fury in her mind, cursed Lawrence for doing such vulgar action.
Author: This garbage Lawrence lost all my respect. Is that even him trying to get redemption? No shame at all!
