Leilyn feels the ball of dark energy almost kissing her stomach and she pours all her power in protecting her child. She’s thrown back, miles from her previous position, by the exploding force. She manages to catch herself, skidding on the ground. She coughs out a handful of blood, making her eyes to go wide in fear. She hurriedly places her hand on her bulge, feeling if the baby is okay.
