11. HOUSE

The two of them walked quickly onto the bus. the bus drove along with the girls laughing impolitely. Ern's eyes immediately found his chair and then collided. His face looked annoyed. but he just kept quiet and hid a little hair behind his ear. "I could have threatened them not to bother you." Justin said in a slightly emotional tone as he sat beside Ern. "Who knows." Ern replied looking outside the window. "I'm used to them." "look at my hand." Justin showed his fist to ern who just glanced at him then let justin babble again. "It's so itchy. Want to beat up one of them." Justin was silent for a moment. He remembers well how he first entered his new school. "You know what? I almost died standing up when they first met me. They all surrounded me in hysterics." Justin paused on his sentence. He looked at Ern who didn't respond. "That's so disgusting. And you know what? The smell of their perfume. oh shit it makes me throw up." Justin's eyes glanced at Ern. "You said not to think about them." Ern said without looking at Justin. "That's right! ah never mind." Justin leaned his back. His hand reached into something in his jeans. A little trouble but he managed to pull it off. Unwrap it and chew it. Ern's ears heard the sound of his mouth. "Would you like some gum?" Justin asked, showing the chewing gum still wrapped in his hand. "thank you." Ern answered quietly with his head down. "But I don't like chewing gum." Ern said with her eyes watching Justin's mouth. I think justin really enjoyed chewing gum in his mouth. Ern remembered the first time he saw Justin chew like that. "the reason?" Justin asked curiously. he frowned in front of ern. Seeing Justin's face this close. Ern's feeling of wanting to have it. He really fell in love with the man sitting next to him. "Because..." Ern thought about the answer. Actually he was just embarrassed to accept the gum. "I'm too lazy to chew it." The answer is original with his eyes looking up briefly. Hearing the answer from ern. justin stopped the movement of his mouth. "Just chew gum are you lazy?" asked justin sarcastically. "Oh my gosh, you're weird." Justin continued shaking his head with a faint smile. then he continued to chew the gum in his mouth. Ern didn't pay attention to Justin's statement that he thought it was weird. But inside Ern laughed at Justin's expression. After a few minutes, the two of them were no longer talking. Ern was busy looking outside the window. While justin busy chewing his gum. The bus stops at the stop. Justin got off first followed by Ern behind him. The cold air started again. ern adjusted his coat. They walked together towards Ern's house.

"Regarding that ability of yours. are you feeling happy?" asked justin which made ern's finger stop turning the key. Ern looked at Justin and frowned. How could justin say that? Meanwhile, Ern really hates his ability. "I mean happy because you could know what was going to happen earlier." Justin stuttered his words. "I'm depressed." Ern answered quietly as he turned the key again and opened the door. "Why don't you remove it?" Justin is getting curious. Ern was silent, ignoring the voice behind him. "Sit down." Ern said when he was lazy to talk about everything. she is lost behind her bedroom door. while justin understands ern's feelings. He sat on the sofa following Ern's orders. Justin took off his jacket and put it on the table. He leaned back and opened his smartphone. Looking for articles about ern capabilities. "Are you Ern's friend?" Justin's eyes searched for the source of the sound. He stood looking at someone in front of him. "Yes, that's right, Grandma." justin smiled as he put his cellphone in his pocket. Grandma walked closer to justin. a little trouble because he is almost stepping on 99 years. "Sit down." Justin smiled politely and sat back down. "Ern didn't tell me about you." Grandma said while fixing her glasses. "We just became friends not too long ago. It hasn't even been a week." "Oh I see. I hope..." Grandma paused for a moment before she continued her sentence. "You won't make her sad." His voice was soft. His eyes looked sad. "Yes, of course." Justin replied nodding slowly. Justin understands that as a grandmother it must be sad to have grandchildren who are often mistreated at school. "So? Did my grandson bring you here?" asked Grandma gently. "I asked for it Grandma." His face looked embarrassed. His eyes glanced over and smiled. "What did I say. There must be a man who is mesmerized by his beauty." The sentence sounded excited. Grandma smiled proudly. Justin even smirked showing his teeth. "Yes, you're right, Grandma. I was mesmerized by her beauty." The sentence is firm because Justin believes Ern is the best choice. "I hope you will take care of him forever." Grandma said with hopeful eyes. considering he is not young anymore. if not the man in front of him who would take care of ern. then who else. "I promise Grandma. I will always take care of her." Justin smiled faintly with kindness. "we high five!" They both high-fived and smiled at each other then laughed. "Oh yeah. What's your name?" "justin." "Pray for me so I don't forget your name." "Haha okay grandma." They laughed together again. but justin stopped when he saw the presence of ern right behind grandma.

"Oh, you see." Grandma is aware of Ern's existence. "Sit down honey." Grandma said softly while trying to stand supported by Ern. "I have prepared all your knitting tools, Grandma. Knit in front of the TV. Like you usually do." Obviously Ern is still with a straight face. "I know you said that so you can be alone with justin right?" the sentence sounded slurred. Grandma glanced at justin. Ern did not move the slightest, he ignored the grandmother and justin who smiled at each other. Grandma immediately left them both in the living room. "So what do you want to ask me?" Ern asked while sitting on the sofa. "Are you happy to have such abilities?" "Why do you want to know?" Ern asked back. He couldn't just accept Justin as his friend. She was afraid that Justin would take advantage of her.
