Rain drops

"It's a meeting room, not your living room!"

Anna was feeling peaceful inside until she heard a well known voice from the corner, which belonged to none other than her boss Zain Jung, God knows from where he popped up suddenly,

At his sudden voice Anna got a little startled and sat straight as she was leaning back to her chair, looking to the side she saw Zain standing as his side faced her, she didn't expect him to be here she felt embarrassed and utter a word as she slides her chair right back at its place

"Sir, everything is ready!"

Not after too long, Miss Zoi stepped inside the meeting room and spoke holding a projector in her hands, turning her eyes she looked her Anna and gave her a pure smile before going towards Zain who was standing near the big screen, Miss Zoi set up everything before they both came back and started the meeting...

Everything went pretty well, Anna also understood everything as they ended their meeting, Miss Zoi had already left and Anna was also about to leave but stopped her pace when she heard Zain calling her

"Miss Anna!"

Anna turned back just to see him sitting peacefully in his chair as he gazes at her

"You know we have to leave in one day!"

Anna just Nodded in his answers, Zain let out a sigh as he also nodded at her before Anna turned back and left the place.

"Why did I even asked her!?"

Zain stood up mumbling in his mouth, as he shook his head in disbelief before going back to his office.

Stepping outside the building as her shift as already ended Anna walked towards her bike, the weather seemed pretty dark, looks like it was about to rain again, the rain didn't stop pouring since yesterday, she hopped on her bike and leave to pick Maria from her school,

The next day, Anna was packing her stuff as she had to leave tomorrow morning, when her phone rang, without looking at the name of the caller she picked up

"Hello, Anna!?"

The person spoke first from the other side as Anna didn't say anything, hearing the voice of her sister after so long she stopped her doings and replied

"Lia?"

"Ah yes, um- you didn't expect me to call you?"

"Hmm"

They talk with a little awkwardness, Lia asked with a hope thinking Anna would say she missed her or she expected her to call but no Anna just bluntly hmm-ed As she sat down on her messy bed, a sigh left from Lia's lips as she spoke again

"So, How are you?"

"Hmm, Good!.... you?"

"I'm... I'm also fine!"

It has been a long long time since they both talk to each other last, and that was also Lia who called her first to invite her to her engagement but Anna refused to come, and today it was also Lia who called her, they chatted for a while, Anna also told her about the trip, Lia was happy for Anna, as she finally as growing in her life

Anna hung up the call and started doing her packing again.

Putting the luggage down on the ground, she lay back on her bed, turning her head to the side as she gazes at the window, it was raining again, the day light which turned into dull and gloomy weather, the sun was nowhere to find as those dark clouds hide the beautiful sky behind them showering the streets

she wanted to go outside and enjoy the rain but...

we can all agree that sometimes happiness is simply a walk in the rain or a dance in the rain. We all have gone through that part of our life when rains have come to us as the body of relief. Our mind, soul, and body have all been refreshed by the rain. We all know that on earth without rain, there really would be no life.

But in Anna's case, it was all different now

Anna also Loved rain until one day, the day when the biggest mistake of her life happened, after that until now she just hated every drop of this rain

Every rain drop was the reminder of her blunders, every rain drop was the reminder of her failures, every rain drop was the reminder of her missteps, every rain drop was the reminder of her oversights.....

Every rain drop made her hate herself more.

Zain was sitting in the waiting area as it was still early for their flight, Miss Zoi who went to get something to eat, while Zain waited for their other teammates, it's was total 5 people, who were taking off to the flight together, Zain, Miss Zoi, Anna, and two other workers too, Daniel also had to come but Zain canceled him and took another worker on his place.

Miss Zoi came back with some fast food bags in her hand and sat down, Zain was looking at Miss Zoi amazed that all that she bought, she was going to eat alone and that much, when he felt someone sitting beside him

Anna just came and saw Miss Zoi eating without caring about her surrounding whereas Zain gazes at her, looking here and there she didn't find any empty seat, the only seat left was beside her boss Zain Jung, she didn't care much and without giving a second thought she went and sat there, no good morning no greetings

Zain turned to his other side just to see a girl who just sat on a chair beside him wearing a mask that covered her half of the face, big black shades hiding her eyes

He felt a Little familiar and frowned his eyebrows looking at the girl but not knowing who she was exactly he just kept his mouth quiet and didn't utter a word while the girl also didn't show any signs that she knew anyone here~
