Chapter 4 Riverside

It took us two more days to reach Riverside. These days we trained to the hardest I taught Pancham Body slam, crunch, arms thrust, taunt and vital throw while mastering storm throw and seismic toss I taught these moves because they required basic movements and gestures but no external requirements

I also trained Frogadier on some moves like lick, water pulse, smackdown and substitute these moves were taught by me while Frogadier learned Smokescreen which will help us in many invasion-based tactics which we used on Ursaring

we also did physical training with Frogadier focusing on speed attack and endurance and Pancham focused on arm strength, leg strength, attack and defence

when we reached Riverside It was not as expected the city was bleak with city walls fallen off and the internal buildings to we're not much better

people were walking around minding their own business. even the metal buildings were empty and broken It almost looked as if an apocalypse had happened but the presence of people told otherwise

I tried finding TM's shops but couldn't find any and decided to go to the Poke centre was the same as Stoneville but bleaker with flickering lights and neon spray paint on the pink logo

Entering the poke centre I found almost frightened me. the nurse joy in the poke centre wore the standard uniform and was called Joy when I had transmigrated I was surprised and even joked that the joy clan had spread their toes here too but the one in front of me was otherwise

In front of me was a living embodiment of Harley Quinn. nurse joy wore a Black outfit similar to nurse joy with the inverted colour she also wore skin-tight leggings on her pink hair adorned a black cap with a silver cross and her left pigtail had red fringes while the other had blue fringes

I slowly made my way to the reception

" Welcome to the centre whatcha want," she asked

" Umm heal my Pokemon please," I said nervously

" well duh that is what a centre is for" she replied but proceed to take the pokeballs and place them on the machine

" Can you tell me where to find a TM shop?" I asked her

She looked up at me

" I can " she answered

I waited for a few seconds

" Will you tell me where it is?" I asked rephrasing the question

" yes" again she replied dead serious

again the conversation lulled down

and it became awkward

suddenly she started giggling this time it was my turn to be serious

" the question should be where is the Tm shop dummy, You can't find a shop because there isn't one that is officially but the gangs do have one each and like to keep the monopoly so if you want one you have to join one sweety" she answered while flashing her eyebrows revealing a violet and red eyes

" and how can I sell my Pokemon," I asked

" you have caught on I see " she winked at me " you can trade or sell Pokemon via PC it has a wired trade method see ya " she handed back him his pokeballs

I went to the PC and logged in with my trainer Id

I searched for trade options and scrolled down there were many people who wanted to trade Pokemon but each had their requirements at the end I decided to use the sell option to sell my Cubchoo and posted a request

After about fifteen minutes I was contacted by a trainer who wanted the poke

I sold him off for Thirty thousand dollars as Ice-type were in high demand

and decided to use the Ursaring for trade but after surfing decided to withhold him for the next day

the Pokemon listed were of all sorts even some rare dragons too

but their requirements were too high

so decided to hold off the trade and went to sleep

the next day I went outside to an inn for some food but then decided to get bread and cheese not wanting to waste my time I spend the day gathering Info

what I found was that the city was divided into twenty wards eleven of them were infested with pokemon and other were in use Ward one to five was used by my people while ward six and seven were used by the Dark gang, and eight and nine were by the Poison gang

what they fought over was more land

The city overall had many people coming from different areas trying to catch their first pokemon or rare exotic pokemon to sell

Now what I decided was to join a gang while I did want some TM's but what I want even more Is a powerful team member and who was better to have a map of this accursed city than one of the gangs who regularly wander in the city depths.

after wandering the city trying to look around I also saw some group of weird people wearing white outfits with black glasses looking around and bullying people to answer questions

late evening I returned to the centre and decided to check Ursaring's moves

his ability was Guts

with moves covet, Hammer arm, leer, lick, and payback while the egg move was a metal claw after that he went to the trade option and started looking around after a while scrolling down he searched zorua

instantly he found one post who was trading it for a dragon type. he was surprised that one would even sell a zorua but even that for a dragon type which a rare Pokemon

he scrolled back to his profile seeing a trader trade his post

' what are the ability and moves

the man quickly sent me the profile

hidden ability: no guard

moves:/Astonish, mud slap, defence curl, shadow punch

TM moves, Fire punch, Ice punch, Thunder punch

now that was astounding wondering if this was a scam I asked why the person was trading it

' well I am a fighting type specialist but that doesn't mean I train other Pokemon I wanted to train a lurk but I found two golett so I will train one and a Ursaring since I saw a challenger fight with it. I wanted a Ursaring ever since'

deciding that it was a fair trade I proceeded to put ursaring's ball in the slot

I had warned about the Pokemon that it was recently caught but he didn't care and told it off saying

' what type of fighting specialist will I be if I can't handle an unruly brat'

saying this I traded the Ursaring

After some time I got a ping telling me that I have received a Pokemon

I clicked the button

with a flash, Golett appeared Its body is primarily covered by two different shades of blue. ItsCollectfeatures two bewitching, yellow eyes and a stub-like cyan-coloured crest on top. Two pairs of crisscrossing brown bands extend around its spherical body meeting at a blue square with a yellow swirl in the centre. Two large stone-like blocks act as its feet and two more such blocks adorn its "forearms"; each arm ends in a dark blue-coloured, crude three-fingered hand

it tilted its head looking at me

' Golett" it said its eyes shining

" well hello there little fella I am your new trainer " I extended my hand the robot Pokemon waddled forward and shook my hand in all seriousness

' well that was entirely too easy ' I internally sigh in relief until now I hadn't encountered any Pokemon that had been troublesome

Golett then clicked his pokeball making him return

" I guess he wanted to rest huh " I shut off my PC and went to sleep trying to think about how to enter a gang
