Episode 67: Transport, Bivalve, & Hermit Crab

Announcer: Today is the penultimate day of the Indigo League! The fan favorite group of Pokémen must now take on the Elite 4!

Our heroes arrives before the first door. When they enter this room there is no turning back.

Announcer: Are you ready? Now, enter the first room of the Cold-Hearted Beauty, Lorelei!

The door opens and they walk into the room to see Lorelei sitting on the ground.

Lorelei: Welcome, I apologize for how cold my room is, my Pokémon prefer it this way.

She stands up and smiles.

Lorelei: My name is Lorelei, the first Elite 4 member! Prepare to feel the icy wrath of the 4 strongest trainers across the regions!

Lorelei throws out all 5 of her Pokémon at once. Dewgong, Jynx, Cloyster, Slowbro, and Lapras.

Announcer: For the Elite 4, the challenger must take on all of the member's Pokémon on at once in a 5v5 battle. The battle concludes when either side loses 3 Pokémon. Begin!

The one to sit out this battle is Otto as she has no way of dealing with her weakness to ice types. Rai starts the battle with a Thunderbolt to try and deal with the biggest threat Lapras first but Jynx jumps in the way to block it with Light Screen.

Lorelei: The reason we have these kinds of battles for the Elite 4 is to see whether or not you have the teamwork to be champion. To see if you can do something like this. Jynx, use Helping Hand.

Every one of Lorelei's Pokémon's power is boosted and they begin to attack.

Wart: Everyone behind me!

Wart's shell tries to take all 5 of the attacks at once but Una creates a shield make from her String Shot to help him as he just barely withstands the incredible force of the attacks.

Wart: So this is the power of an Elite 4 member...

Lorelei: Truely a spectacle, isn't it? And that's not all. Slowbro, use Surf.

A massive tidal wave fills the room. Everyone tries their best to stay grounded aside from Leon, who flies into the air to avoid the attack.

Lorelei: Lapras, Hydro Pump.

Out from the wave comes Lorelei's Lapras who shoots Leon out of the air. The water subsides and Leon doesn't get up.

Lorelei: That's already one of you down. Two more and all your efforts would be for nothing.

Lorelei displays power they have never seen before, and there are 4 more members of the Pokémon League stronger than she is.
