Episode 39: Poison Bee 3

Una never met Koga face to face. She, Kaku, and Naka, along with the other kids in the forest, we're trained under Koga's Venomoth. They only ever heard his voice, and even that was rare. They went through grueling training, pushing them to their very limit to evolve. Even the small children, as young as 5, were put through the same training. Una was special. She learned everything Koga and his Venomoth taught them faster then all the other trainee and was more loyal to Koga than anyone. All of that changed the day Una learned about the Pokemon League.

Leon: Una. Una! UNA!

She suddenly wakes up from her dream to Leon screaming in her ear.

Otto: We were worried, you took on 3 gym leader Pokemon all on your own.

Una: I'm fine. At least I finally evolved.

Wart: Me too. Basically all of us reached our final form.

Leon: Yeah...

Ivy: Don't worry Leon, you'll evolve soon.

Rai: You just need that extra push to finish line.

Leon: Alright, alright, lets just head to the next city, Saffron right?

Koga: Hold on.

At that moment, Koga walked into the Pokemon Center.

Koga: Una, before you leave I have 1 thing to tell you.

Leon: You have no right to talk with her!

Una: Let him speak.

Koga: You're returning to the forest after you become champion I assume.

Una: Yeah, I will.

Koga: Okay then, I'll leave the region in your hands after the Indigo League. Until then, I'll tone down my actions with the others.

Una: 2 years then this will all be over?

Koga: You have my word, as long as you conquer the League.

Una: Master Koga, I still have one question.

Koga: Ask away then.

Una: What put you on this path?

Koga: A few years before I visited Viridian Forest, my wife was killed by a group of Arbok Pokemen. I later found out they were members of Team Rocket so I decided I would protect the Kanto region from any threats. I want my daughter to be able to live a safe life, that's all. I'm leaving my dreams with you.

He leaves, giving Una even more motivation to become champion and taking down Team Rocket. The return back to the blocked routes to give the striking workers the tea they recieved.

Leon: Here, happy now?

Guard: Of course, thank you all. I'll have the other guards to stop the strike.

Leon: So stupid, why tea of all things?

The group leaves before Leon gets even more angry.

Guard: Alright I wasted their time for long enough, Operation Silph Co. Takeover is a go.
