Giovanni: So, why involve yourselves in matters that clearly don't require you?

Rai: We need something that you have, so we're going to take it.

Giovanni: That's all I need to know, Kangaskhan, get rid of them.

Out of a pokeball comes the giant Pokemon, towering over the 2 boys. It gets straight to work hitting them both with a Mega Punch. They take the attack and retaliate with a Thunderbolt and Water Pulse but it shakes them off and try to strike them with another Mega Punch but they dodge it this time.

Giovanni: Maybe I was giving you both too much praise earlier if you can't even defeat 1 of my Pokemon together. Kangaskhan, use Mega Punch again.

They dodge again and hit it with another Thunderbolt Water Pulse combo and both paralyze and confuse the Pokemon.

Wart: We don't care what you think.

Rai: You're in our way so we'll get rid of you and team rocket right here and now!

Giovanni: Well then, I guess your path ends here. Kangaskhan, Facade.

Thankfully, the confusion Wart put on it stopped it from hitting them and instead hit itself. They continue to hit it with their 2 strongest attacks while it either becomes fully paralyzed or hits itself in its confusion. Eventually, it hits Wart with an insanely powerful Facade, boosted by it's current condition, knocking him out instantly.

Giovanni: Now its just me and the lesser of the 2 threats. You really should of thought before challenging the biggest crime cindicate in all of Kanto while being so weak.

Rai: ...

Giovanni: Nothing to say? Seeing as you paralyzing my Kangaskhan lead to the defeat of your partner your worst than just a useless rat.

Rai: I wanted to wait even longer before using this but I see this is either the perfect time to use it or the only time to use it.

He reaches into his pocket for the thunder stone, taking in the energy and beginning to grow into a new form.

Giovanni: Kangaskhan, Facade!

But the Pokemon couldn't move due to the paralysis. His transformation into Raichu completes and he stares down Giovanni.

Rai: This useless rat is going to take down the leader of the biggest crime cindicate in Kanto.

The Kangaskhan charges at the newly powered Rai and he dodges the Facade and strikes it with a Thunderbolt. It tries again but he slaps it away with a Slam into Giovanni, knocking the Pokemon out. He walks up to Giovanni, but he starts to change. It turns out that this "Giovanni" was a simple Ditto Pokeman. Rai looks over to the table behind them and grabs the Silph Scope and Wart as he walks out the now abandoned hideout to the Pokemon Center where the rest of the group is waiting for them.
