Improvement
The aerial battle with elemental rank Pokemon ended after 15 minutes with north base's victory. Charizard with the help of another rare ranked Charizard was able to take rare rank Beedrill down and was also able to kill another rare rank Golbat and Fearow.
It was able to trigger its ability 'Blaze' which boosted its fire-type attacks. As of right now, it could control when it could use this ability. It was far from perfect but there was some progress.

Charizard had finally been able to rank up. Obviously, Axel extended the rank up condition. If there were no tide, it would have taken a long time to rank up. But now, it was able to rank up just after 2 months.

Charizard had improved a lot in this tide. With its black potential and Axel's talent overgrowth and elemental overgrowth, it had caught up to Piloswine and was on the verge for rank up.
However, Axel wanted it to have a good foundation and thus added 3 conditions. At this time, he had not thought of a new move for Charizard but he wanted it to further control its fire ability
Piloswine had fulfilled one of its conditions and now it needed to improve its mastery on ability and hidden ability. This might take some time but it would be fruitful.
Gyarados had also improved a lot in this tide. At first, it took time for Axel to control its emotion. Gyarados were known for their anger. It had leveled up its 'Hyper beam' and 'Hydro pump' to a massive scale as it loved to spam those attacks. 'Stone edge' was really helpful in the tide as it was a crowd control move and would deal a good amount of damage to a lot of Pokemons. Other moves had also leveled up quite nicely.
Axel was happy with all of the progress of his Pokemon. It was the only distraction that was keeping him sane in this tide. There were a lot of deaths these days.

After 10 days,
The troops started to gain confidence when Axel finished off 4 elemental ranked Pokemon in a single day. So, the captain and lieutenants who had elemental-ranked Pokemons started to fight actively when they saw an elemental-rank Pokemon in the tide.
Axel also interfered in those battles but unlike before he didn't have to fight alone. The soldiers started to respect him cause he had earned it. Even though he was only 14 yrs old, no one can argue about his capabilities. So, they started to rally up and fight with confidence.
After 10 days, since the aerial battle, they had managed to kill 12 elemental rank Pokemons. That was a huge number cause the troops not only have to kill them but also defend their position and deal damage to rare-ranked Pokemons.
A lot of soldiers had died but the number was very small compared to normal tide in the past. Everyone was happy in the north base. They felt more secure than before and it was a good thing for Axel but he was still dealing with his mental state. He didn't show it in front of his troops but his Pokemons knew about it.

"How is everyone holding up?", asked Light.
"All good. It was hard at first but we are improving very fast.", replied Nidorino.
"Yes, but I am worried about Axel.", said Marcus.
"Yes me too. I know that he is just trying to hold it in. After the tide is over I plan to immediately teleport him to his home.", said Alakazam.
"Can you even teleport such a long distance?", said a female voice. It was of a Gogoat. She was starting to be a part of the team now.
"No, I can't. But that Alakazam of Oak can. I would request it to do it.", said Light.
"Yes, that is a good choice. Let's end this fast.", replied Marcus.
"Yes, let's."
