A Rocky Mess

Avian and Zaron travelled together to fight the second gym, which Zaron informed was a rock gym, the gym leader was a passionate trainer Lois who amazed everyone with his impressive style of battling. Avian knew he had a strong type advantage but still didn't want to be overconfident. The two had finally arrived in the beautiful town of Waeldestone, home of some of the most strong rock trainers. They both raced to the gym, Zaron had beat Avian by milliseconds and went first. Avian stood outside training and formulating battle strategies. Avian stood outside for 20 minutes until he saw the gym door open and out walked Zaron, he grinned and held up the badge.

"Alright Avian now it's your turn"

Avian grinned and laughed.

"YOU BET, I'll just be right back".

Avian walked inside the gym and noticed it was completely dark, he turned back until the lights came on and he saw a man standing in the middle. He walked forward and got on a small rock field. The man in the middle called out,

"You must be our next challenger, welcome to Waeldestone home of the rock gym. Now before we start the fun. I have 2 rules, 1. we are both allowed to use 1 pokemon, 2. HAVE FUN!!!".

Avian clenched his fists and smiled, he was amped up for the battle. Lois sent out his first pokemon Carkoal, the rock and fire pokemon. Avian looked up and took a breath in.

"Alright, in that case, FROAKIE I CHOOSE YOU"

Avian clenched his fist and decided to get the first strike, Avian told Froakie to charge in with quick attack followed up by bubble. The Carkoal maneuvered around the attack, the Carkoal charged in with headbutt, it hit Froakie dealing quite a lot of damage. Froakie stood up, quite beaten up Froakie stood trying to recover stamina. Avian thought about what to do next making sure Froakie wouldn't take any damage. Lois ordered Carkoal to use headbutt again but this time Avian knew what to do, he told Froakie to jump up and use bubble. All of a sudden the move didn't look like bubble but it looked like a pulse of water. The attack connected and knocked the Carkoal out. Avian had done it, he has beaten the second gym. Lois walked toward Avian and congratulated him on his hard-fought victory. Avian left the gym grinning and met up with Zaron, the two talked and decided it was best to keep moving towards the third gym. They made it to route 7 and began their journey towards Skystead city.
