The Iron Council Strikes Once Again

Avian and Zaron reach route 7 and began training in the thick grass, the two trained for hours and hours till the sun set down. They walked a little further to see the gate to Skystead City, the entered in went to the pokemon center to rest up. They woke up early in the morning to go train more, they travelled back to route 7 and found some other trainers wandering around. They each decided to challenge the other trainers. More hours went by it was around lunchtime now so they decided to find a restaurant to eat at. They wandered around and eventually found a Ramen shop and decided to eat there, they also bought food for all their Pokemon. They had a good lunch and decided to walk to the Pokemon center to get some research done. Avian thought it was good to do some research on the Iron Council before attacking head-on. They were a block away from their room when they heard an explosion coming from the industrial sector of the city. They both looked at each other and nodded, and they both ran towards the explosion. Avian running a little faster saw the smoke coming from a pokemon daycare, he told Zaron and they sprinted the fastest they could.

Avian and Zaron barged in to see Iron Council grunts stealing pokemon, Avian shouted at them,

"IF YOUR GONNA TAKE THEM YOU GOTTA GO THROUGH US"

Zaron nodded and sent out his Grookey, Avian did the same taking out Froakie. Avian told Froakie to charge in and use water pulse, It hit one of the grunts and knocked him to the floor. The other grunt got mad and grabbed one of the pokemon at the daycare and held it hostage. He told them if anyone of them made a move closer to him he would end its life. Avian signalled towards Froakie, Froakie nodded and repeatedly used bubbles at the floor, it created smoke everywhere. Avian then charged at the grunt knocking the pokemon out of his hand. He looked at the pokemon and saw a sparkle in its eye, he put his hands out to protect it. The grunt stunned sent out his pokemon, it appeared to be a Murkrow, he told the Murkrow to use nightshade. The pokemon jumped from behind him and it appeared to be using close combat on the Murkrow. The Murkrow fainted instantly, the grunt stood in shock. The police rushed into the building and captured the two grunts, the officer thanked Avian and Zaron for their hard work. The daycare owner came out of hiding and thanked the two, they went to leave when all of a sudden the pokemon walked in front of Avian. The daycare owner spoke up,

"That pokemon there is Riolu, it was abandoned by its trainer a year ago and ever since it's been staying here, it appears to like you a lot."

"Would you mind taking care of it?".

Avian looked at the Riolu and said yes immediately, Avian took out a Pokeball and caught Riolu. Avian and Zaron walked out and trained for the rest of the day. They decided to challenge the gym first thing in the morning.
