PKers are annoying

He logged off and stretched for a moment. He looked at the time it was currently 2:30 in the afternoon.

"To think so little time has passed," he said to himself.

'How does the game time thing even work? Oh, I almost forgot about the item I put up for auction. It should be sold by now.' he thought as he went over to his PC to check the Isekai Invasion Online auction house.

On the website in his inbox was a red 1 telling him he's got mail. Clicking on the icon he sees that there is a message from the auction house and reads it.

"Well, that's a loss if I did this a week ago I could have gotten at least 15 times that amount of Gold Coins."

Back when the game first came out no one was sure if it could live up to the hype the beta testers made for it.

After all, it was made by the same company that made the PTSD-inducing failure of a DDVR game known as Undead Life, which came out with just as good reviews from the beta testers six years prior.

A week ago the price of Gold Coins was very low at 1 USD per 10 gold because no one wanted to lose their money in a game made by the same company.

After confirming that the money was in his bank account he went back to his bed and put on the DDVR headset again.

"Let's try and do better this time." he said to himself.

'I'm no expert in UI setup but I like it better than what it was before.'

As he was looking over his new UI setup something made a nose behind him. He quickly turned around to see three individuals with question marks over their heads and a letter [P] next to them emerged from the thicket.

The first to speak was what looked like a wolf-headed man with brown fur also known as a Beast-man. He has blue eyes and is wearing basic leather armor, has a big sword on his back, and stands around 7.8 ft tall or around 2.3 m tall.

-?????[P]- "Well well well lookie what we have here." He said in a gruff voice.

The next to speak was a girl who looks like an Elf with long golden hair and a figure that she probably put a few days of work into making because she was absurdly attractive. She has green eyes and is wearing a basic robe that looks a little too tight in some places and has a short staff with a gem in it on her belt.

-??????[P]- "Wow, I can't believe that someone still plays that trash race." She said in a mocking tone.

And the final person is probably some edgy teen because they are wearing way too much black and stick out like a sore thumb in this green forest. You can't see their face, but the armor they are wearing is most likely basic armor just colored black, and their weapons are daggers.

-????[P]- "…" they were acting cool by saying nothing.

Side note: In this game, all the people have question marks over their heads. These question marks take the place of a person's name if you don't know what it is. The P stands for Player if they were NPCs, NPC would be there instead.

"What do you guys want?" Dracard asked, having a feeling that they don't have good intentions.

"Eh.. what with that attitude of yours? Don't you know who I am?" He said in an annoyed gruff voice.

'What attitude? I just asked a question, sigh… And here I thought I finally had some good luck.' Dracard thought.

"Um… no are you famous or something?" Dracard asked in a confused tone.

"Oh, ho... you got some nerve saying you don't know me." He said in an annoyed gruff Tone.

"What nerve we just met there are even question marks over your heads." he said matter of factly.

"He's really asking for a beating don't you guys think?" The girl said to the air, and even did some kind of pose.

"Is she ok in the head?" Dracard questioned

"Have you never seen an Isekai Invasion Steamer before?"

"How dare you, I'm talking to chat right now." the girl said and then looked to the side with a surprised look on her face that turned into a greedy smile.

"No, I don't really like streamers." He side

For a few minutes after that, the three of them stopped talking and just exchanged glances.

'Shit these three are talking about something over party chat aren't they? I should get out of here.' he thought to himself.

As he was about to leave the wolf guy started talking.

"EVIL CREATURE IT IS TIME FOR YOUR EVIL EXISTENCE TO COME TO AN END. I THE GREAT WILDWOLFKING WILL PUT AN END TO YOU." he suddenly declared loudly in a gruff Tone like he was some kind of hero facing an evil monster taking a battle stance with his great sword at the ready. and as he said his name the question marks changed to it.

'The fuck you mean by an evil creature.' Dracard thought in exasperation.

"THAT'S RIGHT AND I THE ELEGANT AND BEAUTIFUL PRINCESSES ANNA." She announced her name being revealed as well. Taking a battle pose with her staff in hand.

'What is going on right now.' Dracard thought in confusion.

"..." He still didn't say anything and got into a battle stance as well as his dagger in hand.

'Say something, dammit.' He thought In annoyance.

The silent person runs to the left before Dracard could even react. As he was distracted by that person.

"MANA BIND" the girl yells as she writes a strange symbol in the air with her staff.

"Mana What"

Dracard got hit by the spell and is unable to move.

As he was hit by the spell Wild_Wolf_King charged forward and yelled.

"GREAT CLEAVE!" He swung his sword down on Dracard and cleaved him in two in a single hit

Unlike other games that tell you how much damage you take, this one does not do that. The only indication of you taking damage is your HP going down.

But what it can tell you is the level of your opponent by squinting your eyes and staring at them for 10 seconds. And just before Dracard was attacked he did just that.

The only downside to doing this is it counts as being a hostel to the person you looked at and if you do it first then they won't get a red star by their names if they kill you for being rude.

Side note: Red Stars are to identify PKers, they get one star every 10 PKs. So it's hard to identify them even if they killed 9 people that day. The kills will be reset one week in the game but Red Stars only go away if the PKer dies and are sent to the player detention zone for 1 week in-game times their star count or if they pay a fine of 150 gold per star to the guards.

He got to see that Wild_Wolf_King's level was 11. And thought 'there is no way in hell I'm fighting or getting away from these guys best to let them kill me and then respawn somewhere else.'

"Yay thank you for the gold." the girl said to the stream viewers. And blowing kisses at them.

"Ha easy money." He said as he laughed.

"..." the quiet one nods.

"So should we get back to the city to complete the quest now?" He asked

"One second, let's ask the chat. what do you guys think?" She asked in a cute tone.

"Gasp… ok let's get going." she said to the two guys.

"Hm..are we not completing the quests yet?" He asked

"Of course not yet we just have a big mission to let go quickly before he gets away!" She said pushing them to move faster.

"Ok, but how much are we getting this time?"

"45 gold and if you're gonna ask each time just open the chat window."

"45!" The silent one spoke

"Ha this is gonna be a great day." he said before sniffing the air.

"Annoying bastards at least I'm a mile away now" looking around he found himself in a small clearing in the forest.

'Alrighty Then let's find our way out of this shitty place' he started to carefully walk in a random direction making sure to keep his focus so he doesn't get ambushed again.

After a few minutes of walking, he heard a voice but before he could react he was suddenly hit and thrown into a tree, dying instantly.

Before he faded from the world into the Death Void he heard a familiar gruff Voice.

"HA Told ya I could one-shot him with my fist." He said.

That was only the start of the PKer's relentless murder spree.

No matter how hard he ran they would catch him
