The audience applauded after the dance number. Because of the crowd's request, especially the male nobles, the dancers were invited to mingle at the ball, which they happily agreed to. Every time Prince Eric looks away, Monika would discreetly look my way. Carla watches to check if someone was watching Monika.

A noble approached Monika to flirt with her. Monika quickly put on her mask and giggled at what the noble said. Then, I saw how she flicked her hand to discreetly show me a paper. While flirting with the noble, she placed the small paper under a plate. 

I quickly looked at Prince Eric to see if he saw that. Prince Eric's attention was caught by a noble that was walking his way. Secretly, I took a deep breath. Then, he gave me a glance, "Why don't you mingle as I talk to the other nobles about some pressing matters?" he told me.

"I could do that?" I asked innocently.
