85. Who drugged you?

The next day RuQian woke up in her room. She shifted in her sheets groggily. For some reason she did not want to wake up which was something new to her. Her eyes focused remembering why that was new, she did not have any nightmare. It felt like she had a very nice sleep after a long time. She searched for her phone and when she saw it was noon she sat up hurriedly. 'Did I really sleep till noon? Without waking up even once?'

She tried to remember what she did last night to be able to sleep so well. That's when all her memories hit her in the head at once. Her eyes widened when all of it played like a movie reel in her mind.

'Shit. He found out that I remember him. No it must be a dream.' RuQian kicked her sheets and buried her face in her pillow. "Ahh.. What will I do? It's okay RuQian, let's just pretend you don't remember anything, it will be fine. It's not like you will meet him anytime soon. That is right, I have nothing to worry about, I am just going to pretend that he is a stranger and that I did not rub myself all over him like a dog in heat. Ahh.." RuQian buried her face back in her pillow recalling how she kissed and bit him.

Her room door opened carrying in her friends' voices, "Why has she not waken up yet? Maybe we should just push her off the bed."

"No way Xiao Xie, let the girl sleep a little. It's not like we are in a hurry or anything."

"Amy, I want to open the gifts and moreover I want to know how she was drugged AGAIN! What is wrong with this girl? Can she not take care of herself? Maybe I should act as her bodyguard from now on." Lan Xie had no idea that that was what her cousin saw her as.

"You were the one who gave me the drink with the drug." Lan Xie jumped at the sharp voice.

"Ahh.. oh Qian Qian, you are awake? When did you wake up?" Lan Xie jumped on the bed crushing RuQian in the process.

RuQian coughed, "C..an't breathe." Her muffled voice sounded. Amy dragged Lan Xie off of RuQian before she killed her friend. RuQian gulped for much needed air.

"Really Xiao Xie, you should at least warn people before you jump on them." Amy scolded an apologetic looking Lan Xie, "Sorry Qian Qian, I did not mean to suffocate you. Oh wait, what did you mean by 'You were the one who gave me the drink with the drug'? When did I do that? Why do you think I tried to drug you? You are my best friend Qian Qian. You think I would drug you?"

RuQian shook her head at her friend's reasoning skills, "I only said you handed me the drink, I never said you drugged me, Lan Xie."

"Oh that's okay then. Wait, I handed the drink with the drug? I only handed you one drink. That was the one with the drug? Who drugged you Qian Qian? I will make sure they pay for what they did to you." Lan Xie rolled up her sleeves, "I will beat up whoever tries to hurt my Qian Qian."

Amy and RuQian both chuckled at Lan Xie's antics. "Oh right, Qian Qian?" Amy called out.

"Hmm.."

"Uh.. How did you get to grandfather Zhang in a drugged state? If it was me I would've just fallen asleep on my face on the floor somewhere. You are really great to have been able to find a safe place before getting unconscious."

RuQian's expression did not show any change on the outside. "Frankly I don't remember what happened Amy. I must have just used my instincts. I should maybe talk to grandfather, he must be worried about me."

"That's right, Qian Qian. He has been worried since last night. He didn't know how you got drugged or what happened to you. He was feeling bad as it is because of the stunt that Lu Xu Mei pulled at the party or well tried to pull and then you showed up like that. He asked us who did that but we did not even know."

"I know, Amy, we are such bad friends. We did not even know something happened to Qian Qian." Lan Xie sulked and pouted.

RuQian sighed, "You could not have helped me. I drank it and even I did not know. How could you both have known? By the way, um.. you were not there with grandfather when he found me.. I mean when I found him?" She tried to fish for more information.

"Qian Qian, you really don't remember anything?" Amy wacked Lan Xie on the back of her head and sat down beside RuQian on the bed.

"It's okay Qian Qian. It will be better if you don't remember that experience." Lan Xie rubbed her head pouting. "Grandfather Zhang had wrapped up the party after the commotion with Wan Wan and Lu Xu Mei and then he left. The next thing we knew was you were unconscious in the car with him when he called us. One of the house workers carried you upstairs when we reached home." Amy kindly explained.

"I did not mean to be insensitive Qian Qian. Amy is right, it is better if you don't remember."

"It is fine Lan Xie. It's not a big deal."

"Wait you still did not tell us who drugged you."

"Yes. I also want to know that." A deep voice interrupted their conversation.
