Arthur felt chills go down his body and reverberate through the murky space of his consciousness.
If it wasn't for the groggy incapacitated nature of his body, he would have leapt to the sun and back, slapped himself a thousand times and tried burying himself alive for forgetting something so… simple.
"Crap! Crap! Crap! What was I thinking? We made plans and I acted like such a fool? Damn it!" Arthur internally screamed, wincing every time he remembered the words he said to her.
'If this was some sort of prank, it's not a funny one,' he'd told the phoenix girl. The words came back on repeat, sounding dumber each time they repeated like a prank recorder on repeat.
Arthur cursed his stupidity, rolling about the murky grey mindscape…
"Quite lively for someone who nearly had his core ripped out from his chest," a deep voice echoed within the murky silence of his groggy subconscious mind.
