Chapter 5..If I can't have you

It's because of her isn't it, Rina said angrily with her teary eyes. that assistant of yours, Rina said as she didn't get why he was so close to Julia and not her.

I don't think I need to explain my relationship with my assistant to you, and by the way, her name is Julia, Jayden said slightly annoyed by the fact that Rina has met Julia so many times but she still refers to her like a stranger.

Jayde knew Rina was a cunning girl but he never knew she was capable of killing someone, but that was all in the past, now all Jayden does is trying to find a way to bring Julia back to life, to get her cheerful friend back.

Jayden was in a trail of thoughts when someone tapped his shoulders.

Earth to Jayden, Lucas said as he noticed his friend was in a daze. Are you doing okay?

Lucas and Jayden became friends after Julia had the accident since Lucas was the one who brought her to the hospital and also the one who operated, and saved her life. Jayden couldn't thank him enough since it was his fault she got hurt in the first place.

yes, I'm alright but, tell me how is Julia doing

we are still not noticing any sign of recovery. Jayden's shoulders dropped after hearing what Lucas said.

But I'll let you be the first to know if she starts to recover.

you're welcome, but as a doctor and your friend I suggest you should get some sleep, you look like a zombie with those dark circles around your eyes.

Jayden smiled at his friend who was trying to make him laugh even though he knew he wasn't.

But as usual, Jayden disregarded his advice and went back to his office to work. You can say he's a workaholic since he would often stay in his office even at night, taking care of his patients, let's just say he loves helping people.

He missed the time when Julia would stay with him in the office and even have lunch with him sometimes just so he wouldn't feel lonely, she really was the best assistant, unlike the other assistant he has had who would only stare at his handsome face.

Jayden wanted to get out of the hospital since he felt suffocated, on the one hand, was Julia's health, and on the other was his father who would not stop pestering him about getting married.

I promise Alexis said as she hugged him saying thanks Zach you really are a true friend.

Zach didn't like the fact that she always called him a friend, even though he wanted to be more than that. But he didn't mind as being her friend was better than being nothing to her.

Watching the two hug, Paige was very happy then at least she had a friend like Zach

Jayden wanted to take a break from the hospital, and visit his family in country V, well he wanted to visit his grandparents who were staying with his father and stepmother.
