Once Impulse stepped out of the cave where he stayed for three months, he suddenly appeared within a black, endless void. He found himself sitting on a wooden chair, a table in front of him, and across the table sat a being. It was a humanoid made of white energy with eyes as deep and black as the void.
Impulse stood but found himself as weak as a human, so he sat back down, acting humble. He stared at the entity across from him, who stared back at him, unmoving. They stared at each other for a good five minutes before the entity moved, a thick book as an encyclopedia.
"I will say it bluntly. Your story has ended." It said, picking up the book.
"My story?" Impulse asked, confused. "What do you mean?"
"Well, your story was entertainment to the nigh-omnipotent being, called the readers. They read the fate, or story, of certain beings, for example, you or Wang Wei." The entity said, crossing its leg. "But recently, the fate writer, or the Author, has gotten bored of writing about your fate. She has, how can I put it... given up on you."
"Wh...what!?" Impulse shouted, standing up. "What do you mean!?" He understood what it meant. He really does.
"As I said, your fate writer has gotten bored." It repeated, folding his arm.
"So you mean... everything I have been doing for my entire life has been... a book?" Impulse stuttered, his mind replaying all the events in his life. His rise in power, his goal, his loss, and his pain. They were all something for others' entertainment and might have been the working of some other beings. He fell back on the wooden chair, breathing heavily. "Am I even real? Am I something like the novels or comic books?"
"Do you feel real?" The being asked.
"Ye...yes..." Impulse mumbled. He felt worthless, like a toy that's thrown away after it has served its purpose. Was his life even worth it if it could have ended like this? Like a book--
"So, I will be returning you to where it all started. There, your story will end where it started." The entity said, the book in front of him flipping through what seemed like millions of pages. Impulse noticed books like DouLuo Dalu: Legend of Wang Wei Feng, Endless Path: Infinite Cosmos, Grandpa Universe In Multiverse, Goddess of Ice; Reborn as Naruto's twin sister... Those were all the fate of beings made to entertain the Readers.
This made him wonder. Who are these readers? Who are these authors? 'Haha. Damn...' He laughed internally, shivering. He was worthless.
"So, it ends."
With that, Impulse found himself strapped to an electric chair, a camera placed in front of him which was rolling, on live tv. This was where it all began. Where he died for the first and where he will die for the last time.
"Ahh. So this is it." Impulse mumbled, leaning back on the electric chair.
"Name. Rick Brandon. Crime. Murdered 328 humans. 114 men, 121 women, and 93 children. Raped 45 women. Human Trafficking. Drug trafficking. Robbery. Cannibalism---"
"I will do you one better." Impulse said, cutting off the man. He closed his eyes as if reminiscing about the past as he spoke. Name, Rick Drew Brandon. Crimes, world slaughter, race ender, rape, human trafficking, drug trafficking, robbery, cannibalism, unlicensed experimentation, human experimentation, and so much more I can't even remember." He opened his eyes and looked straight at the camera, "Punishment. Death Sentence. Last Food. His Ogre meat. Last word: let's get this over with."
Everyone looked at him as if he was crazy as he closed his eyes, a comfortable smile on his face. "Crazy mother fucker." "What a monster." "He isn't even one bit regretful of all the crimes he committed." "He smiles as if this is the best day of his life."
The man holding the lever stared at the smiling Impulse. His happiness was genuine. He had no regrets. He has accepted his death. His end. Gritting his teeth, the man shouted, "You monster!?" As he pulled the lever.
Electricity shot from the chair, shocking Impulse. He didn't flinch. The smile stayed plastered on his face as he died smiling.

This is the end. Got bored, so I ended it the best I could. But all in all, I say this was a pretty good success from a noob author like me. This story is definitely far from perfect. Even worst than some fanfic in webnovels, but hay. I tried my best. Who knows, this learning experience might help me write me to write my next book. It might be an original or another fan fiction, I don't know.
Antinoob, out...
