Chapter 31: End of Marineford

"Cero" Sanemi said as a dark vortex of Reiryoku formed in his fingertips as he launched it towards Sakazuki.

Due to the slam and Sanemi breaking his teeth Sakazuki had accidentally swallowed the seastone piece Sanemi had forced in his mouth. The effect of the seastone still lingered in his body as he was unable to move properly or use his devil fruit.

Sakazuki watched as the beam of Reiryoku pierced his stomach completely making a hole in it. The Piece of Seastone that he swallowed too was released from his stomach along with some of his insides.

Feeling the effect of the sea stone gone Sakazuki tried his best to turn his body into lava so he could survive long enough. He converted all his body below his chest into lava as he created distance between himself and Sanemi.

"I am done with this...you are no longer worth my time," Sanemi said as a golden bibble formed around his right hand. With no hesitation, Sanemi shoved his fist in Sakazuki's chest releasing a massive shockwave.

The shockwave carried Akainu and everything behind him towards the Execution Platform where Luffy had already freed Ace. The shockwave completely destroyed the platform and crashed in the Marineford.

"Admiral Akainu has been killed!!" Some of the marines yelled as the noise rang to everyone who was in or watching the battle. Akainu one of the beacons of the Marines was killed just like that, by the hands of the Crimson Oni Sanemi.

"We have played this game for long enough," Sanemi said as he pointed Aliyeh towards the sky and released a small shot of flames that dispersed surrounding white clouds.

Slowly rumbling and crackling could be heard as the sky turned dark and thunderclouds took place. Covering the skies of the Marinefored entirely.

"What is going on?"

"Thunder clouds...This far??"

"Is this related to the Oni's fruit powers?"

"These clouds...They are not natural!" Tsuru exclaimed as bright blue lightning crackled from the skies and occasionally struck the Marineford below.

"Power of the lost Goro-Goro no mi?" Mihawk muttered as he noticed the strange phenomena for a second before we went back to fighting and killing the members of the Shirohige Pirates and Yuyami army.

The sound of the rumbling got louder as the number of stray lightning bolts increased. Slowly the dark clouds parted to reveal the brewing destruction.

From the dark clouds, a giant rumbling ball of pure lightning descended towards the Marineford. The ball covered almost the whole Marineford as it continuously released stray lightning bolts in the surroundings.

"Since...when did it start..." Tsuru muttered as she saw the giant ball of roaring thunder. All of their best combatants were bust taking on the Shirohige Pirates and the Yuyami pirates and Garp was still unable to take his firm stand.

"no...it was planned all along?" Tsuru muttered as she continued to stare towards the ball of lightning that was still approaching Marineford slowly.

'Shirohige would not let me be free from the fight, and the other Admirals are busy with the Pirates...it seems that we were destined to lose today' Sengoku thought to himself as he closed his eye for a second.

Opening them in an instant Sengoku released a strong shockwave from his palm directed towards Shrohige. Shirohige smirked and released a shockwave of his own as their battle continued.

"I...I still am the Hero of the Marines!" Garp yelled as he jumped from the rubble and launched himself towards the giant ball of Lightning. His fist was covered in a layer of strong Armament haki he had built upon his years of experience of sailing.

"Blast Dragon" Sanemi yelled as he released crimson flame dragon towards Garp interrupting his charge. Garp turned around in time and punched the dragon causing it to destroy but he had to face Sanemi now.

"Bwahahhahahah!" You think you can stop me, kid?" Garp said as he prepared his fist.

"You are far from your glory days Garp...you have gotten old...you have grown weak" Sanemi responded as he put Aliyeh on his back and covered his fists in Armament haki.

"Bwahahaha! Even if I aged this far I can still take on brats like you!" Garp exclaimed as he and Sanemi charged towards each other. Their fists clashed as they started a close combat fight.

Dodging, punching, kicking everything was used to gain an upper hand. While Garp had his years as a marine Sanemi too had similar if not greater knowledge in close combat. As a Shinobi, as a hero in training, and as Mikey he had a good set of battles behind him.

Both of them clashed over and over again with their body covered in Armament haki for most of the part. Sanemi ducked under Garp's famous fist of love and delivered a fist covered with infused haki in Garp's abdomen.

"As I said, Garp, you have grown weak over time, you have lost yourself already, you have lost your justice and just wanted one of your grandkids to take over what you have," Sanemi said as he Kicked Garp's face sending him flying.

"The only thing keeping you as a marine is you lingering morals you have lost your true will long ago," Sanemi said as he pointed his index and middle finger towards Garp.

"Die before you overwrite yourself with more guilt, die before you are killed from aging, this is the most honorable death you can hope for, goodbye Marine hero. Cero" Sanemi said as he blasted two rounds of cero towards Garp and a large explosion followed.

"What do you think you are doing?" Sanemi asked the new challenger.

"I will not allow you to harm Gramps!" Luffy exclaimed proudly as he managed to save Garm from the cero with his rubber arm.

"Family or not, a while ago he was going to kill your brother you know" Sanemi pointed out the recent events.

"Fire Fist!" Ace yelled as he created a wave of flames towards Sanemi. Sanemi jumped back to avoid the flames as Ace too arrived to save his family.

"I see biting the hand that feeds you...quite a bad bunch you both are," Sanemi said he got in a relaxed pose and retreated his armament haki.

"Both of you should leave you can get caught in the explosion, I have no interest in weaklings," Sanemi said as he turned away from them

"All me to humor you then!" Smoker's voice came as he charged towards Sanemi with his lower body turned in smoke.

"I said no weaklings" Sanemi responded and simply punched the air creating an airwave strong enough to blow away Smoker. With a loud bang Smoker crashed on the battlefield critically injured.

Ace and Luffy managed to get away a safe distance from the Marineford as they joined the battle after leaving Garp near some marines. Kizaru and Kuzan were busy dealing with the Heavenly Kings and Commanders of the Shirohige Pirates.

The Rumbling got louder as some of the stray lightning hit the battlefield. The Ball of Lightning finally descended on the Marineford as destruction never seen before was witnessed.

The lightning ball exploded as soon as it contacted the ground creating a huge beam of plasma that reached the skies. Destruction was imminent as the lightning continued to rain on Marineford destroying whatever that could escape the initial explosion.

The marines watched in pure terror as the place they once called home was now utterly destroyed. Not even proper ashes remained as the sea cleared it.

"They...they really did it"

"All those centuries of work..."

"We lost..."

'clearly not a better way to search for a crystal' Sanemi thought to himself as he created a rock pillar below his feet lifting him up. Looking down towards the ruins where once the Marineford there laid a single man.

The man had little long and lanky arms, he had black circles under his eyes. He had a very lazy posture as he sat on whatever little ruin was left floating above the water.

"That is Lewin! One of the commanders of the Oni Pirates!" A few marines who recognized him shouted.

"Lewin? but he had the power of the clear-clear fruit!" Tsuru exclaimed much to everyone's shock.

"Power of multiple devil fruits!" Everyone exclaimed as everyone watching the battle too was shocked to the core.

"Everyone! We are still alive! We have yet to lose!! Give life for the future of this world!! Charge!!" Sengoku yelled as the marines regained some light in their eyes as they picked their weapons and charged towards the Yuyami army and Shirohige Pirates.

"Zwehehahahhah!!!" A burst of sinister laughter was heard in between the battlefield as darkness filled a spot in it. The darkness took the form of a dome as a few people came out of it.

Marshal D. Teach, once a member of the Shirohige pirates with a bounty of over two billion is one of the members of the worst generation. Being one of the warlords and delivering Portgas D. Ace to the marines he has the guts to stand against someone like Shirohige.

"I will...takeover the rest now Zweihehahahhahaha!!" Teach laughed as his crew too appeared from the darkness.
