Overlord: Yokai of Nazarick

Ainz Ooal Gown was one of the best Guilds in all of Yggdrasil, though they are rather special among them because they don't accept just anyone.

And one of the primary conditions for joining the guild was to play a Heteromorphic Race.

As did all of the 41 members it had at its peak.

The time for this to be was still a bit in the future, but they were already on a good way as it stood.

They had just taken over a Dungeon in Helheim and taken it as their new headquaters.

This of course meant they had a lot of work to do before them, among which the designing of the different Floors of the Dungeon and the different beings residing inside them needed to be made.

This was of course something that would take huge amounts of time, but before they could even begin their work, their Guildmaster called for a meeting.

The Guildmaster was called Momonga, playing a skeleton Mage with focus on death magic, he was basicly the glue holding the guild together you could say.

And currently Momonga was quite suprised, why? you might ask yourself, it is simply because he had something in his mailbox when he logged in the next time after they conquered the Dungeon.

It was a gift from the Developer staff for being the first in Helheim to challenge and take down such a huge Dungeon.

A Gift for the whole Guild basicly, and this came in the form of a template for a so called [Unique Npc], which meant that it was not possible to make him without this template.

Momonga contemplated at first to wait a bit and then tell the rest about it, but in the end he choose to simply gather the members for a meeting and tell them now.

There was no real reason for him to wait and so he aswell as nearly all other current members of Ainz Ooal Gown met in their newly acquiered Base, the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick.

They had simply gathered in the open space as they were currently only starting their work on this Dungeon.

Momonga looked at his friends and spoke with Joy, "Guys I have a good news, in the morning when I logged into the game, I found something in the mailbox of the Guildmaster."

He paused for a moment, and currently all eyes were on him, as all felt that this could be really interesting.

Seeing their interest and knowing them, Momonga didn't talk around the bush and came out with what he wanted to tell.

"As we are the first people in Helheim conquering a Dungeon as guildbase, we have been given a special reward by the developers. A Template for a [Unique Npc]."

The people were stunned for a moment, Tabula was the first to ask questions.

"What do you mean with template Momonga?"

There was no reason to explain why they got it, important was what they had gotten their hands on.

"I haven't looked at it myself so far because I wanted for us all to look at it together."

With those words, Momonga seemed to tap some buttons on the interface and soon a white character should have been displayed in the Form of a simple white silhouette.

But to everyone's suprise displayed there was a whole list of things, and each of them shocked the people present.

The room went complete silent for a while, as all took in what they had gotten, but this was just absurd in their opinion. If the Npc templates were good as well, then they would probably need to doubt their life's decisions until now.

"Crazy..." The first to let out a word was Momonga, who had gathered this meeting, never did he expect this small gift to turn out so freaking huge.

"I don't know what to say..."

"We have another floor to add, is what I would say."

"Let's decide where to place it after looking at the three Npc's."

"Agreed."

"I'm also interested."

They talked for a while but realized that they should take a closer look before deciding more.

"Mhm, then let's start with the two special Npc's first..."

Then Momonga opened the two [Special Npc]'s Charcter Template for all to see at the same time.

"Shit..." They were again overwhelmed, these two Npc's were definitely on the same level as the others they had planned as floor Guardians.

With the two being on the same floor and it was obvious that they weren't meant as the Floor Guardian, made them think how crazy the [Unique Npc] would be.

"So those two are just planned as Area Guardians? Isn't this on the level what we planned for the 8th Floor?"

They had planned to put all the strongest monsters on the 8th Level, as a last bastion of sorts.

"Maybe we should place it even lower?"

"Let's first see what comes next..."

They were already shocked by what they had seen up until now, but the next Npc may be even crazier.

Momonga was as eager as the others and so he immediatly went to open it as it was requested by the others.

They fell into an even deeper silence and this time it took a long time before someone spoke up.

"This... isn't this ridiculous?!"

And the moment the first spoke up, utter chaos broke out immediately.

"F*** what are those developers thinking?!"

"Complete nutjobs!!"

"This is just insane..."

"I don't think you could ever reach such a hight as a player no matter what..."

"Even I am not sure to win against this monster..."

Even the greatest among them Touch-me, a world champion, was unsure if he could win against such an npc.

And this was without items or anything, just looking at stats and classes, it felt ridiculous.

"Who the f*** has 900 Stat Points... I found 730 already beyond reason..."

"After putting him into place, is there even a chance of loosing?"

"Hey think about the other two! The three combined are broken, there is simply no possibility to win!"

They were going crazy with the status of this Npc, it was just to much for them, but soon they realized.

"Why are you so tense and annoyed?"

"Yeah isn't this a good thing."

"Aren't they going to guard our base?"

It was true, they were so annoyed by the stats and classes, that they didn't even think about it. They were Npc's of their own.

Momonga then finally spoke up, bringing the ruckus down a notch.

"OK Guys, let's vote first if we should implement this new floor and then were it should be placed."

It took a couple of seconds for all to finally gather their attention on Momonga after he spoke up. He then proceeded with the voting.

"Who is for implementing this new floor?"

There was a reason he asked this first, as he had basicly expected the answer. And his friends didn't let him down.

All hands including Momonga's own went up, showing the result immediately.

"It seems this is unanimously decided." having no need to look how much were against it made it easier.

Then Momonga continued with the next votes, in the end they voted for it to be the new 9th Floor and the former 9th Floor being lowered down.

It was mostly for two reasons, one was that they didn't want a place which could possibly be among the most beautiful places in the Tomb ravaged regularly and with the possibly strongest Npc ever, it should be on the lower floors.

To their suprise, they got extra levels to create more Npc's then just the 3 lv.100 Npcs. These though had the condition that they needed to be from a Yokai race.

But even when there was some condition, it wasn't a bad one, as Yokai also counted as part of the Heteromorphic Race this pretty much played into their hands and Yokai also had a ton of variations.

A young man walking down the streets leisurely, looking and tipping on his phone as if their was nothing more important.

"Another gag site... but let's try it anyway."

He seemed to talk to himself as he passed by people, currently to focused on the site he was looking at in his phone.

[When you were to be reincarnated, as which Race would you like to become?]

"What a bizarre question... but if I were to really choose..." He seemed to think for a while, before finally giving an answer.

[Kijin]

"Definetly a Kijin, in the anime they not only looked cool but also had cool abillities..."

Remembering an anime about a man becoming a slime took away his awareness, so he didn't watch his surroundings at all and then it happend.

Something from behind hit him, there wasn't even a chance for him to realize what was happening when he was already gone...

At least in this world he was now gone...
