A new Beginning

"My lord, this is all of the information I could get on the 13 heroes." a middle-aged man said while bringing a stack of paper before a man, with a goatee. his charm seemed almost none human, his eyes capable of charming someone who looked at him for too long.

"Thank, you sir Marquis Raeven." He said calmly while taking the books, he went through them, but as he was still learning to read, he couldn't understand them just yet.

"My lord, it's my pleasure. there's no need to thank me." the Man said with a humble bow, the man with the goatee looked at him for a moment before just nodding.

"Have you got any information of people appearing near the forest of Tob? anything off, something thats not normal." The man with the goe asked calmly, to which he thought for a moment before putting his words together.

"As you told me not to near it or have one act abnormal, it's a bit hard to get information. but from what I collected so far, there is a powerful Caster who has saved a village called Carne village. he had enough might that even Gazef Stronoff, the Warrior Captain of the Re-Estize Kingdom and King Ramposa III's bodyguard, claimed he was no match for such a being." Marquis Raeven said, making the man with the goatee frown slightly

"Save? a Magic Caster? what was the name of this person?" He asked with a confused look,

"He went by the name Ainz Ooal Gown. he had raven black robes..." As the Marquis Raeven went on to describe this man, the man with the Goatee eyes narrowed to a dangerous level. which caused him to shake in fear, even though those eyes were not aimed towards him, it didn't make him any less fearful. it was like a supreme being was looking down upon him.

"W-with he was a woman, in raven black armor." He said and those words shocked the man with the Goatee

"Albedo? Was anything off about this woman?" The man with the goatee asked, to which Marquis Raeven shook his head. nodding slightly, and seeing as there was nothing else to report, the man with the goatee fell into deep thought

"why would he take up the name of AInz Ooal Gown? Is he trying to spread the guild name? Is he trying to draw everyone towards him?" He said softly to himself, what was going you may ask?

My name was Dracula, a Vampire Lord. I was not from this world, I was from a trash planet which was called Earth. On this planet, it was the year 2138. the earth was truly trash, it was not hard to find people who would themselves to death or people who ended their own life. it became a time of stress and work. why?

To survive or leave the planet. the people of the past destroyed the planet and left it to those of the future to struggle to try and leave. of course, hundreds of millions of humans have left Earth, but for the others? they were struggling to leave.

I was one of them, but I was special... I was cripple. I made money from playing VR games, which I would play the games, max out the account before selling it to someone who would pay the highest. due to me being a cripple, this was a way of escape for me.

to make the most amount of money, I made a name for myself. I went on to try and become the best possible player I could. playing other VR games, such as sword-based games to learn to use the sword, and the list went on. I was making good money, and then one day I ran into YGGDRASIL.

It was a game where I went on to do the same as all over games, be the best. Did I need a team? I didn't care for them, I alone was a one-man army. I liked showing off, so I normally didn't wear gear, with just swords in my hands, I would jump at the enemy and slaughter them all.

I was known as the Player Hunter, up until I ran into someone called Touch Me. The guy saved me when I was ambush, it would have been the first time I would have died. but he saved me, and from there I made my first-ever friend.

Touch Me went on to create a guild, Aniz Ooal Gown. it quickly went on to become the number one guild, with me and 40 others. I was not the leader as I cared little for such nonsense, for the first time I was enjoying a game...

but one day, someone used the highest-ranking item in the game. A world Item to force the developers to kick my character from the. normally, there was no way to resist such a thing. but I had 3 world items, so my character although was still kicked, was for only 3 years. it was a long time... and the game was going to end before that time went down.

I contacted the game developers. In the end, they allowed me to come back, moments before the game closed. at the cost, my world items would be unusable. so I came back, a few seconds before the game closed. at first, I wanted to go say goodbye to the others, but I ended up getting lost in the past. it brought tears to my eyes seeing how the world we built was still standing.

But after those few seconds ended, and I wasn't kicked out of the game, I was shocked and went on to look outside to see what happened. it's there I found that this was real life and no longer a game. I discovered I still had the strength and powers of the game, I even had my world items, and I was a vampire.

In the game, I started the game as a vampire, and slowly, I made my way to unlock a new race called the Vampire Lord. the game was hidden with many stuff like this, the guild leader, who now seems to be going by Ainz Ooal Gown discovered a special ability that allowed him to bring death to just about anything, even those that were immune to it. it bypassed everything and brought forth instant death.

I didn't return to the guild out of the fact that this was now a reality. this was no longer a game, want if TOuch Me who used to go around saying, "Helping Someone In Need Is Always The Right Thing To Do." went on to suddenly change his mind?

plus, we were all affected mentally based on our race. As a Vampire Lord, I had to drink blood, and I found it hard to have the same feelings towards other life as when I was human, I was an undead now. our personality was bound to change, and sooner or later we would fight amongst each other. I planned to sit back and let them kill each other.

I had no interest in dying. I would not return to Earth. would I return if I died? That was a maybe I didn't want to find out. so I was playing safe, I wanted to trust the only friends I ever had. but it's been nearly a year since we last met, would they have the same feeling towards me as I did for them?

surely they would want to take the throne and be guild leaders, surely they would want benefits. human nature would be somewhere down there, and they would want something, and they would fight. it's not like the guild members were peaceful, we used to fight amongst each other all the time, others wanted to go clear one dungeon, and others had their plans. others watched, having no interest in getting in the way of those fighting, but we were still all friends... right?

Anyway, After getting the hang of my powers, I went on to use the ability of the Vampire Lord, Mind Control, to mind control the way into this house. Marquis Raeven, full name Elias Brandt Dale Raeven.

Marquis Raeven is the most influential noble in the Kingdom and commands the highest authority among the Six Great Nobles. It was because of the power he held that I mind controlled him.

In the game, Mind Control allowed me to control anyone with 10 levels below myself. it was absolute control unless they had items, abilities, or powerful resistance that could allow them to break free after some time. this unique ability was never seen before in the game, as normally others used charm, but my mind control allowed me to do things like even take control of undead... well, only vampires.

It was easier for me to take control of Vampires. for someone as weak as Marquis Reaven, it took me 1/4 of my MP, but for a vampire, it would be 1/10. plus, once I put someone under my mind control, unlike the game, I could give them an order that would stay in effect, even after they are no longer under my mind control.

So, after I placed Marquis Raeven under my mind control, I told him to remain 100% loyal to me. after I canceled the mind control, he was still doing as I asked. Of course, this was not absolute. if I had him destroy something he greatly loves, he could break free. also, if his resistance towards mind control, or if he suddenly was knocked out or whatever, he would no longer be following my illusion.

"what are you doing?" I said to myself while looking off, towards the Great Tomb of Nazarick. the NPC we created was now walking around. Albedo. She was an NPC we created, we even gave her a whole background, there were countless other NPCs, but Albedo was special, she was the leader of the floor garden, the one with the highest defense, and the NPC that protected the throne room.

there were other floor gardens, but in total there were 8. all at the max level, of 100. we all created our own NPC. I was at level 100, everyone in the guild was at level 100. some of these NPC could even kill us players, the strength was not so far apart.

Was the NPC like we programmed it to be? In the game, sure we wrote back stories for them and even dressed up the NPC. but they were NCP, they would only act based on how you programmed them. so if you tried to take them out of the guild, that would of course be impossible. Albedo was out?

'I guess they came to life... I wonder if the one I created is alive?' I thought calmly, thinking about the NPC I created. it was the strongest in the guild, created in a unique way compared to others. even touch Me, who was second only to me was no match for her. She was a monster, worthy to be my creation.

"damn, I want to go. but it's too dangerous." I said with a smile, world items. there were a total of 200 in the games. but our guild had a total of 11. adding mine, that was 14. while other guilds had like 3 if they were lucky, we outclassed them by so much.

but not all world items were equal, Among the world items in our guild was Longinus. The World Item, Longinus enables the user to pick whichever target to delete or remove from existence. However, it came with a cost where the user must pay the same price as the target as they had to also delete themselves. After having the character's data deleted by this World Item, unless another World Item was used for revival, there was no other way to come back alive.

In other words, it was impossible to restore the data of anyone deleted by that World Item if one did not use the resurrection powers of other World Items. Neither Cash Items nor resurrection spells would effectively work. In case someone was to use Longinus on a Custom NPC, it would even reduce the maximum levels of NPCs created, the special feature of a guild base.

In other words, I didn't want to be erased from existence. What if he gave it to an NPC and it targeted me? the risks were too great, and I had no choice but to sit back and watch things out.

"taking the guild name... that bugs me," I said softly while looking at my shoes. these were world items, Shoes Of Apollo. other than greatly boosting one's speed, they made it impossible for someone to target you so long as you kept moving. this meant all range-based attacks became harder to hit, adding these shoes on top of my speed stats which were above the limits... I was untouchable

So, Longinus might not be able to hit me. if I kept moving, I could kill and take the person with this world item. I was just too fast, then there were robes I had on. the other guild members forced me to put on clothing, they were raven black and seemed as if they were made just for me.

They were called Vampire Lord robes. They came with many basic effects, such as increasing all of my statues by a degree far greater than other items. but the most effective ability it brought was called True Immortal. it increased my natural recovery capability by over 200%, it even allowed me to come back from the dead so long as I have MP. With these robs, Longinus wouldn't affect me so long as I have MP, as my data should just come back.

lastly, there were two blades. The Sword Space Blades. two swords which allowed me to ignore the defense, resistance, and even immunity of anyone, allowing for all sword-based attacks to be effective. the Sword of Space greatly boosted my speed, and even gave me the ability to teleport without the cost of MP or anything. there was just a slight cool-down. there was another special ability, which could dodge a target dodging. no matter where they run, this attack would reach them. but the cool-down was great

the sword of time also boosts my time, at the cost of my HP dropping. I could even use an ultimate technique called Time Cut, which cuts the time of an area. if the target was there at some point or ended up going there in the future, they would be cut. the cool-down for this ability was also great.

these two swords become weaker when not together, and yes. I was a speed build. It's why I was so powerful. My reaction time was just unmatched, and with me maxing out my speed, and even dueling, it allowed me to put my speed to its fullest. thanks to my speed I could fight a group of level 100 and win, I was too fast for them to hit, and so on. Even before I got my hands on these 3 world items, I was defeating groups of level 100.

there was a reason they targeted to kick my account, I alone was enough to keep the guild in the top 3. I alone was more than capable of stopping anyone who tried to attack the guild unless they came up with plans and ways to take me down. I was unstoppable

"10 years... those guys knew this would happen," I said while looking at my shoes, the cooldown, they allowed down because they knew something like this might happen. well, I was immortal. I would return to reading, while my summons secretly protected. I was not much of a summoner, but I did have items, which were coming to good use.

I had all types of items, but none of them were useful in learning to read. sighing, I sat down and began trying to teach myself to read. those in the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown were scary smart, they could easily trick and manipulate me. although the guild master wasn't the smartest, he was still above me. I was combat smart, not leading a kingdom smart, guessing a person thought smart, or thinking years into the future smart.

I could read a person's movement, guess their way of combat, find their weak points, and so on. this is what made me so capable. All those games I played, truly paid off. I was a master of Martial Arts, Swordsmanship, and the list went on.
