14 minutes have passed. Me and Ulbert decided to just memorize the lyrics which I did in seconds.
"Dude.. How do I pronounce this?" Ulbert said pointing at the brown transparent box.
"That? That one is easy, It's pedagogically" I said the word slowly so he could pronounce it very well.

"No problem, Goathead" I clicked the smiley face emoji.

"It's about to start" I look at him "You ready?"
"For sure, What about you?" He pats my back.
"Well, Yeah. Just a bit nervous" I said with a sweating emoji.
As I was talking a notification appeared.

"Hmmh, It seems we will be doing the performance." I inform Ulbert
I clicked yes, and it tells me what instrument and things that I'll perform, What's my party name and other stuff.
I filled everything that needed to be filled and told Ulbert about the rewards.

I looked at the rewards shock, Ulbert confused and tapped me in the back.
"What made you silent all of a sudden?"
I shared the notification with him and he became silent, Seconds later he began to tremble.
"D-damn, t-the rewards!.. We can get Data Crystal from this event?"
He asked while shaking me.
"S-stop shaking me! And don't talk near my nose, You're breath stink!" He stopped.
I wipe my shoulder pretending to get the dirt off me "And yes, Goathead"
You might be asking as to why he was so excited for only data crystal, Data crystal drops rarely and mostly on high level dungeons only, So getting 15-5 is quite a lot considering it's only an event.
We walked out of the modern room through the door, and went to the waiting stage where everyone was waiting to perform. Some were nervous, Some were excited, Some didn't care.
I sat on the chair and Ulbert followed and he sat next to me. As we were about to seat a loud "WOOOOHHH" was heard.
'... I'm dead, I have never performed with this many people before, Not even in my original world!' I jolted a bit.
Ulbert patted me on the back, he raised his hand and did a thumbs up with a grinning emoji and seemed like he's mocking me.
I got annoyed and a tick mark appeared in my head, I ignored him and just calmed myself out.
I inhaled, and exhaled.. Ulbert did the same "You nervous?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am."
"Don't worry dude, If you are gonna die in embarrassment count me in" A laughing emoji appeared next to his head.
"Fuc-" I was about to reply but an announcement appeared on our UI.
[Make your way to the stage]
"Here comes a new talented person! Please welcome them with a loud WOOOOHHH!" The announcer said in a loud yell that enhanced his voice.
As we heard the announcer say that, We quickly got to our position Ulbert on the backstage before appearing once I signal him with my hand.
There we're so many players watching, Some ignored and some just watching with boredom.
I sat on my seat and prepared some quick announcement "So, I need more light" the light became brighter "Not that bright" a small chuckle was heard.
I ready myself "Anyways, This first song was called "The world on Fire" " I announced through mic and play random notes "AAAAAAAAA".
More chuckles were heard. I looked at the audience and they seemed to be focusing on me more.
"The next song is a little bit longer than that one, Before I sang the song, I just wanted to let you know about the origin artist, Bo Burnham anyways" The audience shouted wooo.
I started playing the piano, Jolly and more mastered than the original "Hey players! Today we're going to learn about the world!"
They silenced "The world around us is pretty amazing but how does it work!" I looked at the audience while playing the piano "It must be complicated, the secret of the world can only work! When everything works together"
The players were quite dumbfounded by how beautiful the voice of the singer was, And they woo again, Many more have focused their eyes on the performer.
"A bee drinks from a flower, And leaves with its pollen, A squirrel in a tree spreads the seeds that have fallen" I continued looking at the audience "Everything works together, The biggest elephant, the littlest fly. The gophers underground, the birds in the sky. And every single cricket, every fish in the sea. Gives what they can and gets what they need"
A player was recording the performance with his UI.
"That is how the world works, That is how the world works, From A to Zebra, To the worms in the dirt, That's how it works" I signaled Ulbert to come, And everyone yelled again.
I played the piano "Hey! Look who's stop by to say hello!" I stand up and approach Ulbert "It's Ulbert!" I address him.
"He--y" Ulbert said, which turned out to be a long greeting.
"Where have you been, Ulbert?" I asked
He replied "I've been where I always am when you're not contacting me via message!" He looked at me "In a frightening, liminal space between states of being. Not quite dead, not quite alive" And looked at the audience "It's similar to a constant state of sleep paralysis"...

"That's how it worked!" We bowed.
The audience whoo, And turns out that our party is the last one to perform.
"We are the last one?" Ulbert whispered near my ear.
"Yeah, I didn't paid attention to our track, So yeah." I whispered back.
As we were whispering a man in weirdly designed clothes appeared on the stage, he was wearing a clown mask and a hat befitting a clown. 'What a weird designed NPC'
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Oh no, Humans! Demi Humans! Heteromorps! The Halloween event will finally finish! I thank you for being here with us in this beautiful event." He bowed as the participants walked to the stage "The WINNEERRRR, Will gain. A. Radiooooo… Staff!!" he said dramatically pointing at the staff that appeared out of thin air.
The audience wooohhed "Not only that! The winner will get a Cosmetic that is only unique to one person!"
"Well then! Let's announce the party that won!" he get something on his inventory, cardboard with Halloween themed on it, He opened it.
"First! We will start at the! Third place!" a drum music suddenly played.
"...Booty Conqueror!" He pointed next to our party.
The party was a bit sad that they hit only third but was quite happy with it.
"You may claim your prize after we said every winner! Now!" "The second place is…" the drum music played again, the other party prayed while us closing our eyes 'Even we get second place it will be just as good at the first place'
"Heteromorph Avenue!" he said and the light pointed at the party of three they jumped excitedly, and the audience wooohhed once again.
He silenced the audience "Now.. the first place." a drum and a heartbeat played.
I prayed (lmao) and closed our eyes. "Mischievous ones!" He said and I looked at Ulbert and hugged each other.

I claimed the prizes and decided to have the staff and the cosmetics, And Ulbert nodded at me. He doesn't need a staff for now after all he got a Rare Staff that he got in the quest he decided to just have the Data crystal and money.
I checked the cane staff stats and equipped it with my cosmetics, I smiled.
