3 months. (3rd POV test.)

Three months have passed since the event happened, I am currently level 34 while Ulbert is level 36, Ulbert and I face many challenges including the monkeys of midgard.

Those little animals can kill a level 50 player if they are traveling solo, unfortunately we noticed them and quickly got away.

"Damn those monkeys" Ulbert puffed smoke as he got a low level potion from his inventory and drank it.

Alastor huffed, pretending to be tired from running as he also drank potion. "It's good that we got away"

Alastor looked at the cane in his right hand. They've been killing and raiding many dungeons since he got the staff. It's a useful wand that can be of use for revealing traps, and it gives the user a 360° vision, in short it's a powerful staff. Although it's a bit creepy because when the user activates the 360 ability the staff reveals an eye. But all in all it's a powerful staff.

It was unfortunate for both of them to raid a dungeon full of monkeys, currently they are in Midgard since they have heard that monsters here give more exp than normal ones, and they have a chance to drop a high class item.

"Those fuckers dared to scam us"

Earlier ago there were two people that approached us. They are humans and seem to be at least level 45-32 because of what they wear.

____Flashback somewhere in Midgard___

Alastor is fighting a bunch of crabs that are full of molds, they are scattered around the area and seem to be neutral monsters, monsters have been divided into classes. There are three classes that divide monsters.

Peace monsters, that don't attack the players. These monsters are mostly NPC in a village full of monsters as citizens, but this only applies to those who are heteromorps, but attacks those who are human players.

Neutral monsters, that don't attack the players but when attacked they become hostile.

Hostile monsters, that attack every player in his range this mostly applied to higher worlds like Musphellheim, where valuable materials are.

"[Ice spear!]" A manly voice shouted from behind he had a feature of a goat and was also fighting these crab monsters. This is Ulbert, a friend of Alastor.

You must be thinking why they shout they're spells. Technically, there was no need to speak when casting Spells, but one's friends couldn't know what was going on if nothing was said. Thus, it was considered polite to announce Spell names as a sort of courtesy. After all, it wouldn't do to have others charge headfirst into friendly fire, would it?

Alastor floated as his staff floated too, as magic circles appeared in the ground. "Hurry!" Ulbert shouted as he was getting chased by Moss Crabs. [5th tier magic: Magic Blast!] Alastor shouted and jumped over to the side.

[Magic Blast] is a spell that takes a long chant, and can kill everyone that is on the range of the magic circle. This spell is mostly used by players who are grinding for exp, this spell can only be learned by buying it from the library of Niflheim.

Although it takes a long chant it is very efficient when taking down monsters all at once.

The blast killed the crabs and a notification appeared on their UI [You leveled up!] This monster dropped earthen claws which can be used in forge and can also be eaten.

Ulbert approaches Alastor and grabs him by the collar "You could have fastened it up! I almost died fucker!"

Alastor shoved him and squatted where the monster was and picked the drops "Couldn't help it dude, This spell takes a long charge to cast" He said picking them up and counted them "This should be enough for the quest"

The goat man sighed "If it wasn't for the rewards we wouldn't have gone off to hunt this crabs"

Alastor glanced at the crabs moving and scattered around the area, even though they looked weak they dealt quite the damage, which made them hard to hunt.

Alastor shrugged and swiped his menu to check the quest, while he checked them a two human player approached them, this world is forest they have their own paths to avoid players getting lost in the wilderness.

The Moss Crabs is close to the path that's why this players approached them, the human player #1 raised his hand and a smiling emoji appeared near his head.

He wears metallic armor and a katana on his waist. "Sup" he greeted and the human player #2 followed, he also wore the same metallic armor but he had a shield and a great sword on his back.

Ulbert and Alastor looked at each other and nodded, the two human players were quite suspicious, they might be here to rob them off with their equipment and items "Sup" Alastor replied while Ulbert got on the back.

Even though Alastor is a mage, he's stats are built to have physical and magical ability, he can equip other weapons like sword due to his unique passive skill [Maximizer] this skill let's Alastor use any type of weapons. He equipped his spear, just to be careful of these two strangers.

Ulbert prepares to cast the [Paralyze] spell just in case these two attack them and quickly use [Teleportation] to escape.

The player#1 look at ulbert and a sweating emoji "There's no need to guard up, we aren't here to PK you".

The player#2 nodded and put his weapons in inventory "If we're going to rob you, we would have already did"

Alastor raised his hand and scratched the back of his head signalling Ulbert to back off.

Ulbert looks at his friend's hand and cancels his casting.

"To be honest, we kinda notice that you two have been here for a while" Player #1 said. "I assume leveling up?"

"Ah.. yes" a smiling emoji appeared on Alastor while Ulbert listened. "We're here to level up." he lied, they were here to get the quest item, every bit of information in this game is important after all, so lying is common sense here.

"I see so you two are newbies I presume? I can see it based on your equipment" he examines our equipment, Alastor wears a leather robe, while Ulbert is wearing a leather light armor. They wear armor that newbies only uses, this robe and armor is enhance that is as powerful as Legacy armor, they wear this to avoid conflict and not be PK'ed by higher levels player.

"Yes we are, Ulbert! Meet these two gentlemen!" Alastor snickered, ordering the goat man who's behind him.

Ulbert clicked his tongue and threw glares at him "Hey" he greeted the two human players.

"Oh no, there's no need for greeting, were just here to tell you about a new dungeon near here that gives more XP than normal monsters"

Once Ulbert heard this he lit up and a smiling emoji appeared "I see! Can you tell us where this dungeon is?"

"Not for free" player #2 interfered. "I'll give you this information for 50 gold."

Ulbert frowned and looked at Alastor, and he nodded.

"For 50 gold?" Alastor steps up. "But we're only newbies. How about 20? That's only how much we have." Alastor pleaded as he had a million gold in his balance.

Gold is important in this game and 2 gold can buy a low tier potion.

Ulbert smiled knowing what Alastor was planning. "A-ah yes, yes we only have 20 gold" he fake stuttered and handed the pouch containing the money.

Player #2 checked the pouch and smiled "You just need to go straight here and left, and then right…."

_____Back on them___

"I swear to god! Those fuckers!" Ulbert stomped his feet as we walked further to see the path.

"At least we didn't lose anything, but they do give lots of EXP. I killed one and 30% of my level bar is filled."

Ulbert is shocked because he only runs away from the monkeys "For real!?"

Alastor nodded and shared a screenshot on Ulbert.

He examined before saying something "Let's go! Let's kill those friggin monsters!"

Alastor touches the bridge of his nose and sighed "You did see that they can kill us right?"

"Yeah I know, I'll agro them while you cast [Storm] and after that I'll cast [Javelin] for instant kill" Ulbert explained while Alastor freeze's on his steps seeing the monsters in front of them.

"M-monkeys!" Alastor shouted and ran Ulbert and noticed them too and ran away.

Sorry for not updating, Since school is being a bish and I've been focusing so much on my friend's novel and saw that you all are waiting, I'll update every other day now since I think that you all are getting excited about this.
