Chapter 9

Liliana began to slowly open her eyes, she felt like someone was laying on top of her. She noticed that it was Liam her brother, her brother has the same silver hair as her but he has a different eye colour, it is pale blue just like her father.

Liam was sleeping, his hair was so smooth and glittering under the sun, his small young face shows the traces of an icy handsome man in the making.

Liliana rubs her eyes and pinch herself.

Ouch! She thought to herself, wait I'm not dreaming! This is brother's room, and brother is the one laying in front of me. Omg! My oven! My dreams of eating desserts is gone!

If Liam heard her inner monologue, he would have been mad at Liliana! What oven? For god sake, she is Duke Zavastor's daughter, her life is more precious than that silly oven, and she could have just asked someone to get it for her.

Liam opened his eyes and saw that Liliana was awake, he was nervous he didn't know how to express his feelings.

"Stupid! Treasure your life more, after all my mother sacrifice her life for you, It would have been better if you were never born, don't think that I like you or something, anyone with a sane mind would have come to save you in that situation. Even if you are a devil, killer and a sinner, I would still save you cause I have humanity alright?"said Liam

Liam's heart felt pain! Omg why did I otter those words! it's not Liliana's fault yet why did I do that?

He glanced at Liliana and saw that she was normal but little did he know that Liliana's appearance looked fine but his words stabbed deeper than knifes, Liliana had already mastered the art of poker face.

"What were you doing? Why did a huge explosion occurred out of nowhere?"asked Liam with an icy tone

"I was building an oven."replied Liliana with a naive expression on her face

"Oven? You know how to build an oven? Are you trying burn down the house and kill us all?"said Liam in an angry tone

Liliana was scared but did not show it on her face.

"Venom go call someone to add an oven in Liliana's place."commands Liam

Venom went away and quickly found someone to buy an oven for Liliana's sake.

Liliana's stomach began to growl loudly, Liam looked at her and sigh, he called Derren to bring food for Liliana.

When the food arrived, Liliana face looked grim, but when she saw that it wasn't those inedible food, she was relieved.

"Open your mouth!" said Liam

He blow the spoon filled with porridge and began to feed Liliana, the scene was heart warming.

Duke Zavastor had actually came here when they were both asleep.

He saw that both of them were together and felt relieved.

Reina do you know that I miss you so much, when I heard that an explosion occurred and Liliana was hurt did you know how scary it was for me.

Reina why did you have to die? I don't even know how to face her! She looks so much like you. She will keep on reminding the fact that you had died because of her. I want to love her but will she be able to love a father like me?

I know that I'm not the best father out there, but I still love them equally in my heart. Even though, I have purposely avoided Liliana, it's all because of you! If only you were alive.

"Master you are back, are you going to come inside?"asked Venom

Duke Zavastor declined, he did not want to ruin such a heart warming scene between the siblings.

Liliana taste the food it was so bland, this food taste so bland, I could make a better porridge than them. She began to wonder, is brother's food always so not tasty, she remembers that before she used to eat food that was not even that delicious from Mary.

"Um..... Brother Liam can I come visit you?"asked Liliana

Liliana began to find herself so stupid? Where did she got a huge courage from she wondered to herself, she began to prepare herself to be rejected by her brother

"Stupid, I don't want to see your face but if you want to torture yourself, feel free to visit me at anytime you want." said Liam

Liam was feeling annoyed, why couldn't he just be honest to Liliana, damn next time I will try to be more honest with her.
