Chapter 10

Liliana was surprised but happy by Liam's answer.

She was so happy that she began to smile.

Liam saw her smile and began to feel even more guilty towards Liliana.

"After 3 days you will go back to your own place alright?"said Liam

In those three days, Liam would always feed Liliana and take care of her but he obviously hid the fact from her.

Finally three days passed by.

Liliana looked reluctant to go back, she made puppy eyes towards Liam.

Liam's heart was struck by her cuteness, he was trying his best to not lose his composure.

Liliana reluctantly went back.

From that day onwards, Liliana would always come visit Liam and give him food that she made, their relationship wasn't bad but Liam could never be honest with Liliana.

Liam's birthday was coming soon, so Liliana asked Derren what Liam likes, Derren told her that Liam loves cat.

Liliana became determined to make a cat plush toy for Liam's sake.

When his birthday arrived, Liliana muster up her courage and gave the cat plush toy to Liam.

Liam threw the cat plush toy and looked disgusted by it.

Liliana's heart was broken to pieces and she went away.

Liam felt bad for Liliana but he hates cats, but when he looked at the cat plush toy in the ground, he was surprised by the details of it, that cat plush toy had fluffy white fur and pale blue eyes. He strangely did not find the cat unpleasing, in fact he found it adorable.

He picked it up and store it inside properly.

He didn't know how to explain it to Liliana so he decided to not explain it to her.

Flashback

"Liam! Look this is Mr Munch! He is my new pet cat."said Ryan with a proud look on his face

The cat had black and white fur, it eyes were green, the cat looked so grumpy that at anytime soon he could see it unleashing it's wrath.

"Liam do you want to hold Mr Munch? Do you? I know that our Munch is the cutest."said Ryan with a bragging tone

Liam decline the offer yet, Ryan kept on insisting him.

Ryan left Mr Munch and then all hell broke lose, it was chaos.

That was how Liam developed a fear and hatred for cats.

Liliana did not show up on his birthday party, he felt even more guilty.

The next few days Liliana did not came to visit him, he started to feel lonely without her presence, but he did not know what to do! He decided that it was time he makes the first move, but then Liliana came.

"I'm sorry!"said Liliana with a sad look on her face

Liam wanted to tell her that it was not her fault at all but something else came out from his mouth.

"Oh you finally show up your face after so long, even if you say sorry, mom would not be back so it's useless, you took my mom away."said Liam

Liam took a glance at Liliana but he couldn't see any difference in Liliana's expression.

After that Liliana would still visit him daily, she would always tail him wherever he goes, she will follow, even during his classes Liliana will sit right next to him and listen with him.

He found her adorable but still couldn't be honest with her at all.

Two year passed by

Liliana is now 6 years old, Liam is still not honest with her.

This year is the Elevian empire's hunting competition, Liam and Liliana will both accompany their dad to this competition.

"Liam and Liliana don't walk around, just stay inside your tent alright?" told Duke Zavastor

They both nod their heads indicating that they have agreed with it.

But something strange happened, the area where they had stayed was being attacked by magical beast
