The man brought his face closer to Lexin's neck. "What are you doing? Let me go!" Lexin shouted and pulled his hand. He fell hard on his back. "Aah.." he groaned on the floor.

"Excuse me.. What were you trying to do? Do you need help?" Lexin asked as he got up.

Then he noticed the formal attire of the man. "Is he an important person?" he thought.

The man then showed his face and looked straight into Lexin's eyes. Lexin gasped and moved back. "Fangs?!!" he thought. "As you can see, I am a vampire. And one of your CEOs. The name is Zane. And now, the most important thing, will you allow me to suck your blood?" he asked breathing heavily.

"No! Why would I do that?" Lexin shouted.

"You leave me with no choice then." he said and got up. He started moving towards Lexin and then grabbed his hand.

"What are you doing?!" Lexin shouted as he struggled to pull his hands from Zane's grip.

"SHUT UP AND OBEY ME, you lowly beast!" Zane shouted and peirced his teeth into Lexin's neck.

"Hmp!" He groaned as Zane sucked blood from him and his eyes shined bright red.

"Let-Let me.. go!" Lexin shouted as he pushed Zane away.

Lexin held onto his neck tightly to stop the blood from flowing and ran off.

"He is quite strong for an inferior." mumbled Zane walking out of the room.

"How could you suck a beast's blood without me, dear brother?" Lucas, Zane's brother, said leaning against the wall just outside the room.

"Oh, just shut up... Look into that guy. His blood was quite different from the other cat beasts." Zane said touching his mouth and then took off for his afternoon meeting.

"Hmm.. Guess I got something interesting to do now." Lucas said with a smirk and hopped to his room.

Meanwhile Lexin, who ran off to the washroom, washed his face.

"I just met a vampire.. Just great! It hurts so bad.." he said touching the bite mark.

He then wiped the mark to remove the blood. He groaned and walked out of the washroom.

Back at his work place-

"Why didn't he come yet? How long does it take to get a damn memory chip?? Even that stupid cat didn't come yet." Alden said.

Just then Lexin walked to him and said, "I couldn't find it."

Alden stared at him and sighed. "Ok, just sit down and wait for me. I will go get it." he said and walked away.

"Got it." Lexin sat and drank some water.

With Alden-

"I wonder who he met... Zane or Lucas.. I should be careful now." he mumbled with himself and started finding the memory chip.

Back with Lexin-

"It is all fine, it was just one bad day. They won't suck blood from me again. They will find someone else." Lexin said to himself.

"Oh! Lexin! How are you? Been a while since I saw you!" a feminine voice came from behind him.

He turned and smiled. "Hey.. I am all well. What about you, May?" he said.

"Am great. Also I just drank ***** drink. It was so refreshing and tasty." May said. "Why didn't you bring one for me?" he asked.

"Who said I didn't? Hehe." she giggled keeping two of those drinks on the table.

"Girl! You are the best!" Lexin shouted and grabbed one of the drink. "I know, I am."

"May!!!" someone shouted from behind.

She turned around and her smile faded. "He-Hey, Alden.. How's work?" she asked moving back.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??" he shouted. "Alden! Catch!" Lexin shouted and threw a drink at him.

Alden caught it and looked back at Lexin. "She brought some for us too. Now go ahead and drink it and forget about May disappearing for two hours." Lexin said taking a sip of his drink.

"Huff, whatever. Now let's finally start working." Alden said drinking the beverage.

After about four hours later-

"My hands ache! I am gonna... sweeep (sleep) for some time." May said yawning.

"No, no. You can't sleep now. All of this requires your assistance. Only you know and specialise in this." Alden said.

"Come on, only a little is left. After this, we will go out for some drinks." Lexin said and hit May's head. "Urrggggg! Fine. Let's finish this fast, alright?" she asked. "Understood ma'am!" Lexin shouted.

Soon after that, the project was finally done. "Finally it's done, now let's go and drink till we drop." May said in a good mood.

"Hard to believe we actually finished this." Alden said smiling a little.

"Haha! To be honest, I didn't have any hope that we will finish this today itself." Lexin laughed.

"Should we submit it right away? Or tomorrow?" Alden asked looking at the finished piece.

"Hmm, tomorrow is fine I guess.." Lexin said.

"Ok, the important question. Who's treat is it gonna be?"

"Not me!" Lexin and May shouted.

"I hate you both." Alden said. "Yay! It is big brother, Alden's treat!" May shouted grabbing her stuff and then started walking to the lift.

Alden sighed and walked to the lift behind May. "Sad life man." Lexin said walking to the lift as well.

...

"Click!" a camera clicked a picture. "Hmm, he is quite an interesting one. Let's observe him for the rest of the night, eh?"

At the restaurant-

"It has been so long since, we, for once, relaxed our minds without stressing about any project."

"True, also Alden has really low drinking capacity. Look. He looks good as dead." May said laughing.

"But.. If he isn't awake right now, who will pay the bill?" Lexin asked with flushed cheeks from drinking. "Shit.. I didn't think about that. Oii! Alden, wake up.. Pay the.. billlllllsssssss..." May slurred and slowly fell asleep.

"May? May! Oh, come one! This is cheating. Also, how the hell will I carry you both?" Lexin said shouting.

"Hmm.. Boss... Why.. don't you jump.. of the cliff?" May mumbled in her sleep. "I wonder what would happen if boss heard her say this..."

After Lexin paid the bill, he took a quick visit to the restroom.

"Woah.. My cheeks are so red. I didn't even drink that much." mumbled Lexin while splashing water on his face.

As he looked in the mirror, he saw a man behind him. "Was he there before?" he thought.

He closed the tap and wiped his hands and face with a tissue. Lexin looked in the mirror again and saw no one. He turned around and still no sign of anyone. "Don't tell me I am hallucinating now." he muttered and walked out.

"Just who is he really?" a man-like voice spoke in the restroom.
