CHAPTER FOURTEEN - Case Reopened

"I want to reopen both the case involving my father and the son of Mr Kim," Lily yelled at a policeman who was chewing bubble gum, making her feel repulsed by his constant fixation on her naked legs.

"Why?" He asked, leaning very close to her. Sadly, the man's intoxication and disconnection from reality meant that Lily's warning was not heeded. Everyone in the station turned to look at them as he leaned his face near to hers and was struck hard on the left cheek. The sound reverberated throughout the entire station. Lily got to her feet and met his eyes unfrightened. She was immediately aware of how to defend herself against a repulsive man. Her father instilled in her the importance of never letting a guy take advantage of her in life. HOW DARE YOU GET CLOSE TO ME? The man became much angrier after she had a startling outburst that made the situation worse. "You are aware of what you did." Although he was seething with rage, the man brushed his teeth because he did not want to cause a disturbance. A senior police officer arrived right away and sneered at the other as he approached them. "Come with me, Mrs. Smith." Lily nodded and fixed a menacing look on the policeman.

Before speaking to the police, Lily sat down on the chair and heaved a breath of relief. "As you are aware, my father passed away, and there is also the matter of Mr Kim's Son. I wish to open up these instances once more. From her bag, she pulled out a pen instrument. Lily set it down on the table and pushed it toward the officer, who was giving her a critical look. They are all connected. The officer's brows arched downward. "What?" He was perplexed and asked a question.

Yes, I need your assistance. I'm hoping you'll help me out as well. He accepted the pen drive while nodding.

He inhaled deeply before plugging it into the laptop. He started the videos after opening the files.

He checked all the films after a while, took a long breath, and then turned to look at Lily. "All right, I'll assist you." He agreed to assist her, and she grinned broadly. Finally, keep it a secret. You are aware that this case is unusual. Both you and your family will suffer as a result. You must therefore take care to keep it a secret for a few days. This proof is still insufficient. We should look into it once more. Lily nodded, acknowledging that she was following the officer's instructions.

She went to her car after leaving the police station. After getting into the vehicle, Lily turned it on.

She quickly looked in the side mirror and the rearview mirror. Her eyes widened as she saw a large truck approaching her.

Lily started driving right away after relocating her vehicle. As she continued to drive, she suddenly realized that the same truck was pursuing her. Lily felt anxious but soon recovered. Lily, you need to have courage. As she hurried up to her car, she said. She shifted her automobile to the left and sped off without regard for anything. She accelerated as the truck drew nearer to her automobile. She was driving so fast that many were so frightened that they ran and jumped for cover.

Sadly, a baby boy was crossing the street when the light was still red. When Lily's eyes touched the boy, her breath became laboured. It was too late for her to stop the car, despite her best efforts.

The car's brakes failed as a result of excessive speed.

Her eyes widened, and a look of utter terror crossed her face. Her head slammed onto the steering wheel as she rolled the wheel, forcing the automobile to crash into the swimming pool. Her head lay on the driving wheel and blood was dripping down her cheeks. She was not awake. The vision became hazy. Lily closed her eyes while still being aware of everything going on around her.

"Call the ambulance," someone said. Somebody yelled.

bringing a dead body on a stretcher into the hallway and into the operating room. Holding back her tears, an elderly woman approached the body from behind, believing everything would be alright. As the body entered the chamber, leaving her helplessly behind, she slid to the solid, icy floor of marble. When someone approached the woman and took her in her arms, the woman was able to rise.

As she focused on her daughter's husband, who was running to them with a female, the woman started crying. Miss Jones? How is Lily doing? She became enraged at Alex's irresponsible treatment of her child as he worriedly questioned her.

"Fighting against death." Mrs Jones yelled angrily, causing everyone to flinch at her startling outburst. Mrs Smith forced her to sit on the bench while holding her hand. Alex was looking down out of shame. He failed to defend Lily.

Emily approached him and gave him a back pat. Jun-Sang sighed and walked over to Mrs Leon, who was not watching anything on stage. The term "Mrs. Jones." While hunching over on one knee, Alex murmured to himself. She glared at Alex as he held her hand and gently caressed it. "Leave now." She spoke in a weak, worn-out voice. "You can murder me or slap me, but please don't push me away.

Mrs Jones' heart constricted as a tear fell on his cheek. She wiped away his tears while shaking her head. Avoid crying. She gave him a feeble smile, which made him feel worse about himself. "I apologize." After speaking, he stood up and left the hallway to get some fresh air. Emily instantly followed after him to encourage him.

"Dad?" "Dad?" A young child searching for her father while wearing a blindfold. Her laughter reverberated throughout the park. Her dad took her up and tickled her stomach, which made her giggle out loud. She continued to chuckle and begged, "Dad, stop." Her father halted and removed the covering over her eyes. She grinned and gave her father a bear hug.

"Dad, I love you." Her face was tucked into his neck. "My princess, I adore you as well." He hugged me tightly in response.

"Awake up, princess," I said. Just get up; you can't give up that quickly. We must persevere in the fight. The strongest female is you. Just stop it and get up already. The ghost of her father kept waking her up. What are you doing, dad?" I'm already gone. Observe her. Lily stroked her father on the back as she sat next to him. Her father turned his wide eyes to her. "No." His soul was speaking.
