Chapter 8

'I should get some distance and retreat' Fumi thought while loading her bow with arrow and preparing to retreat while the monster starts running to her

SWOSHH!!

ARGHH!!

As Fumi release the arrow she didn't see where it goes but judging by the sound behind it should hit the monster

Suddenly Fumi felt a punch behind her, looking back she could see the monster arm coming full force while having an arrow stabbed through his shoulder

'Shit no time to dodge' Fumi thought while bringing her bow to block the punch but alas the bow broke while Fumi get knocked to a nearby store

The monster soon follow but got hindered by the amount of dust suddenly a fist is thrown directly at the monster head

'Don't underestimate me, my second enhancement is my arm' Fumi screamed in her head but soon her face turns into despair because her arm got blocked by the monster and he throw a punch directly at Fumi's stomach resulting in a hole

'We didn't even stand a chance against it' Fumi thought while closing her eyes

On the south side of the mall a team of 2 is rushing to the middle of the mall upon arriving they don't see both Noin and Fumi or the monster

"Fumi, where are you" Riko one of the member of the south team said to the earpiece

"..." There was no answer

"Riko i sense someone in one of that store" Mark said while pointing at one of the store

"We should wait for the others before going in" Mark continues

"Then what about Fumi she might be still alive" Riko said while starring at Mark

"Noin died before Fumi can make an announcement about the monster whereabout, do you think Fumi who has telekinesis enhancement and an arm enhancement can survive that?" Mark said while starring at the store

Soon enough they heard footstep from the west side and soon they saw Tim and Joy who both have the same enhancement of sword and speed especially on their arms

"Hello everyone" Joy said after arriving

"Now we wait for the other two" Mark said still starring at the store

"Kid you should go upstair and take the other survivor to the cinema" Jack said while taking taking a knife from one of his dead men

"Tell your men that, we wait for the creature at the escalator, they will be restricted from grouping up when going up the escalator" Norrev said while using the escalator up

"Set up some chair and table from the food court to throw down the escalator" Norrev continues

"Jac-" One of the man said but he got cut off before finishing it

"Follow the kid, that is our only option for now" Jack said while also going up the escalator

Arriving at the 4th floor Norrev ignore the crowd of people who is scared shitless and continue to bring tables and chairs near the escalator

"Hey are we safe?" said one of the people in the crowd

Most of the crowd also have this question in their head

Soon Jack also arrive with his men and saw the crowd starring at them

"Everyone prepare to go into the cinema in the 5th floor" Jack commanded

"Why are we going there?"

"Are we not safe here?"

"Did you find my husband?"

Question after question is asked to Jack which irritated Norrev

"My son is fighting below, I will wait for him" said one of the older women

"Shut up all of you" Norrev said after hearing all of their complains

"All of your relative who make a barricade on the 2nd floor is dead, now those creature are coming straight to the 4th flo-" Norrev was about to finish his sentence but suddenly a pole come straight at his face which he narrowly dodged

"You fucking retard, why did you told them that" one of Jack men said

"I wa-" Before Norrev could finish his word, everyone begin running to the cinema without order

As chaos ensue the creature below get more agitated and with the quietness of the mall, the sound of people shouting and running without any care in their surrounding echoes through the mall
