Galan looked at the chat, his face expressionless as he ignored Izuku, turning back to the video, resting his cheek on his fist. He sat on his chair like a villain, staring at the sob story that played out for everyone in all these different universes to see.

The only word he could use to describe it was…

"Pathetic."

Galan spoke with Jonathan, who was at the G-8 Base as Robin posed as the General Inspector. Galan knew that it was Robin, but he played along with Jonathan basically asking him to test them all, see if they had what it took to continue on their journey.

As for Commander Shepard… or Con D. Oriano… He was just an idiot…

The Straw Hats watched the screen and sighed.

[Nami: Has our entire adventure been under your eyes, Galan? Why, just because of Robin?]

[Monkey D. Garp: If I'm not mistaken… It should be-]

[Nico Olvia: Garp!]

[Monkey D. Garp: Heh…]

He never finished and the screen continued.

As Galan finished his conversation with Jonathan who asked if Robin was all like him or just hateful. Galan told him that he hoped neither but Jonathan didn't believe him telling him that he had to change otherwise he would be attending his funeral.

Galan hung up after saying goodbye and called Kuzan, who immediately shouted that he was looking for Robin as best as he could. He declared that he would earn the vacation before catching himself and correcting his words to complete the mission.

Galan stared at the phone suddenly thinking that if Olvia was here she would probably laugh, right? Then he shook his head and forgot about her, telling Kuzan that when he found Robin, he wanted Kuzan to tell her that Galan sent him to kill her this time.

Kuzan was stunned and wanted to know why but Galan told him that he didn't need to know why, all he needed to do was let it slip on purpose and make it look like an accident. After that, scare her and the crew, and make them realize how dangerous the sea is. However, Galan stressed that he wasn't to actually harm her in any way.

Kuzan said emotionally that Galan was such an emotional man and he understood the task! Galan was speechless and Kuzan added that he understood Galan's Justice, saying that Galan was his idol before hanging up.

After hanging up, Kuzan biked away wiping his eyes saying to himself that he knew Galan was a good person!

[Bentham: Yaoooooo! Kuzan, we should be friends!]

Galan shook his head and left the office, a tired look on his face. He didn't talk to anyone, there was only scum all around him now…

He looked at Zephyr's empty training lot and sighed to himself, walking down the road home, his shadow stretching out an extremely far distance.

Finally when he got home, Olvia was waiting for him. She stood up and dusted herself off smiling happily as she said 'You're home!' Galan froze and stared at her before walking into the house as Sugar jumped on him saying that she wanted to play chess, Olvia mentioned that Sugar almost beat her!

Galan told them that he just wanted to rest and they fell on him saying how tired they were. He sighed to himself and brought them to the bed upstairs before turning to leave but Olvia grabbed him pretending to sleepwalk and dragged him into the bed.

She rolled on top of him and Sugar did the same, pretending to snore.

Gala stared at the ceiling and grit his teeth, tears slipping down the sides of his face.

What did he do to deserve this?

He didn't deserve love!

He didn't want it!

He didn't need it!

Then why… why did he feel so warm?!

[Sugar: Waaaaaah! Daddy! Don't be sad! I love you!]

Galan ignored them, staring at the screen his teeth clenched. Olvia looked at him and patted his arms gently, he snorted and continued watching as the screen continued.

Olvia was back in the office, helping him as he received a call from the 5 Elders. They questioned him as to why he would be spreading Marine power back into the Blues, Galan told them that they needed to expand and protect the citizens of course but that he was also just about to call.

This was a lie, of course, but he made up an excuse.

He said that since the marines were expanding, they needed more ships so he wanted to go to Water 7 with their permission. The problem was that the Marines didn't have too much money so it was tough for Galan to get as many ships as he wanted.

IM walked into the room and instructed them on what to say, making gestures.

Galan frowned slightly as their tune suddenly changed strangely, not the same Elders he was used to. Galan continued talking about his expansion plan saying that he could send them the financial analysis…

The Elders looked at IM before telling him that they would look over it but perhaps the expansion plan should be halted for the time being.

Galan narrowed his eyes like a snake and asked what they meant by halted, they replied that expanding like this would allow the opportunity for undesirables to sneak in and cause chaos. They asked about Galan putting more Marine bases around the Blues.

Galan said that he would nip pirates in the bud before they got a chance to be a problem, creating more peace for the World Government while also recruiting fresh blood for the Marines, essentially a win-win scenario.

The 5 Elders didn't know what to say and turned to IM, who wasn't happy. IM felt that Galan was hiding something, a good dog is better on a leash, but this dog was getting bigger and bigger right under her nose!

IM only had a suspicion. But that was all she needed.

The 5 Elders told Galan that his intentions were good but Marineford isn't guarded well at the moment. Olvia showed him a paper and he looked at it, telling them that maybe he was being too rash, he said he would send them his expansion plan and have them look it over.

The paper said 'Suspicious?' Galan gave her a thumbs up and she wrote again 'Stronger Marines= Stronger Government???'

IM nodded and The Elders told him that it was a good choice, after they're reviewed Galan could even get Cipher Pol help. Galan rolled his eyes, the Elders wanted to put spies in his Marine force!

How could he allow this?

He smiled and nodded telling them that that would be perfect! Thanking them gratefully for helping so much, saying that the plan would go without a hitch with their help. However he never said he was going to stop the plan.

IM told them to have CP9 watch him on Water 7 and they told Galan that he could go to Iceberg and put in a shipment order… IM continued gesturing, wanting them to have Galan help look for Pluton's Blueprints.

The 5 Elders were confused and IM made a leash getsure before pulling back violently.

Galan told them that he was happy they agreed and said that he would head to Water 7 immediately! The Elders didn't understand IM's gesturing and finally told Galan that they were satisfied with his performance before hanging up.

They forgot to order the termination of the expansion plan and IM trembled in rage, glaring at them angrily.

Galan put down the phone and snorted at the snail, his lips barely curling into a sneer.

Olvia was anxious and Galan told her about IM, she was shocked and made a fuss about him not telling her sooner but he just sat there and explained that the person behind the scenes was only suspicious, not 100% sure that he was a snake.

So they were fine for the moment. Olvia calmed down and stroked his palm with her fingers, telling him gently that as long as they're together nothing could stop them, asking if that was true.

Galan looked at her before nodding and agreeing.

They continued talking about plans and what IM would do next.

The screen split and IM chastised the Elders telling them that they were fucking things up by not following orders! They revealed their doubts but IM put them down telling them that all they needed to do was follow orders not think about things.

The World Government has been standing for 800 years, it wasn't a coincidence! She went on to soothe them with compliments, adding that Joyboy was taken down on a hunch so she trusted her gut without question.

IM continued to speak about Galan saying that a good dog is loyal but that doesn't mean it can't bite you.

The screens showed half of IM and Galan's faces as they said in unison to different people, 'Remember, a cornered beast is the most dangerous thing in this world.'

[IM: Ah~ Galan, you are my other half! I haven't felt this excited since Joyboy!]

Everyone else was stunned, this woman was insane!

[Nico Robin: Eh? Are you saying… Joyboy was your husband?]
