I asked Tom calmly as he sat with a poker face after telling me his decision, which has finally come in my favor.

“Yes,” Just one word, enough for me to proceed with my plan but my curious heart still wanted to know the reason behind his change of heart.

“What made the change, huh??”

His composure changed as soon as my question was asked.

“Nothing,” He shrugged without maintaining eye contact and immediately I realized it was something, not nothing.

“If you don’t want to tell, that’s fine, but I should enlighten you about the things I intended to do,” I told him carefully and then soon started explaining my plan to him which will definitely make him a hero in front of Amy.
