Chapter 128 Favouring The Worst

DEREK POV :

“NO.”

For a moment, I hallucinated the word uttered from Amy’s mouth loud and clear was a straight, “NO”

But then, when the whole crowd cheered and wooed, and Tom’s elated smile came in my view, I realised that Amy had said the word, I feared always.

"YES"

She said “Yes” to another man’s proposal.

DAMN IT !!

Aggressively, I intended to barge on the stage and pull Amy away with me, she couldn’t be with anyone except for me, no one, no one could take away what we shared in the past or what is still left between us.

NO ONE !!

But as soon, as my foot was lifted, Tom took Amy in his embrace and they shared a kiss right in front of me.

Her mouth connected to his, boiling the rushing fury inside my veins.

Perhaps, this is the thing she wanted, an acceptance in front of everyone, the acknowledgement of her partner.

Which I failed to provide.

Disappointed by my own deeds, and annoyed with my cruel power of authority in the past, I left the studio, wounded.
