[Optional/ Insert music: The Way Of My Sword by Calapm]
He willed it and Frostmourne obeyed as one soul left the sword and entered the grave of a random Dwarf. Arthas wanted to see how his power would look like, how much it would resemble the scourge and he also wanted to see if he could bring back the original. If he became satisfied, only then would he try it on Kili.
A chilling sensation filled his body but he felt in control. It was a unique and strange feeling. He felt his heart was replaced by an iceberg, his blood ran cold, his eyes shone in a blue hue. Frostmourne had a blue halo and the runes shone beautifully.
With a sinister growling sound, a hand came out of the soil, Then another and soon a Dwarf stood in front of him. Its body still had its injuries and its shining blue eyes emotionlessly stared at him.
He felt the soul within the corpse, he could force his will effortlessly and the half-sapient dead being would obey unconditionally. He wondered, 'I don't have the Crown so how can I do this? This sword is not so simple it seems...'.
He circled the undead and cast a healing spell. All the injuries of the physical corpse healed, the Dwarf looked the same as it had before dying except for its eyes and pale skin. Arthas sighed, "How ironic, to bring back someone from the dead, I must be the one killing them so their soul gets absorbed in Frostmourne. I can't bring back my friends if they die... The ones I bring back are mere puppets of my will...". He could make armies of his will to take over the world if he wished but he couldn't bring back one simple friend.
He willed it and the soul was absorbed back into Frostmourne. The corpse fell into the ground, he personally buried it again. He then left the peak with a heavy heart. Even with the power of Frostmourne, he was not able to achieve resurrection. 'I need to go to the realm of the dead and get the soul from there and that's impossible for me...' He gave up indignantly.
The Dawn of the next day all the men along with 50 Dwarfs and 100 Elves stood in front of a stage made of stones. Farther away stood the two Kings and their followers. Arthas and his new people were leaving to enter their lands, to enter the lands of Rhouvanion, to the kingdom of Lordaeron. They were waiting for the new King to give a speech.
Finally, he appeared, He wore the golden armor he had worn from Lorien. his hair loose but elegant, his face determined, confident and handsome. He appeared Majestic and charismatic. The crowd cheered.
He stood on the stage and looked at the crowd in front of him. He saw familiar faces and strangers, with expressions of awe, expectation, or calm. He was a little nervous to speak in front of so many. 'But, no matter what, they are my people from now on.' He thought as he raised his hand, the crowd quietened.
"We have all suffered, whether at the hands of orcs, at the hands of each other, or at the hands of corrupted lords.
We have all lost someone dear and we have to move on. If not then how can we survive, do the ones who have embarked on another journey wish for us to give up? Never!
I have left behind everything... And I realized how fragile and short life is! Do you want to live this short life without doing anything worthwhile? I don't! All our hearts crave for greatness, All our hearts crave to be remembered in ages to come as heroes!
So Today, We go to our lands and build a kingdom. One that will last to the end of time, our names forever etched into its history. A kingdom where all are equal, whether they are Elf, Dwarf, Men, Hobbit, male or female. A kingdom for those without a home, A ray of hope in these times of darkness. The Kingdom of light, Fairness, prosperity; The Kingdom of Lordaeron!
I will give my heart, soul, and blood to make this dream true. All the golds of the world, All the time in my life, All the power in my arms! Are you with me?!!"
The crowd erupted in a tremendously loud cheer, shouting "YES!" whether they were men, women, old or young; The charisma of a true king was being emitted from Arthas.
"Then Follow me, as we embark on this path. Our Path to make the world a better place!"
They left the lands as a name Echoed in Middle-Earth for the first time. Lordaeron.
Sorry for the short chapter.
I will stop answering comments from now on. Sorry.
If you have questions or are confused, wait for the next chapters and read it, the answer might be there. If it is not explained then it was meant to be a mystery. Mystery and uncertainty are also a part of a story. (This only applies to questions that ask for Spoilers.)
