Planning for Training

After some time passes, Usopp came crying to the place where Straw Hats were staying. They saw crying Usopp and felt sympathy for him. Luffy went near him and asked, "Were you slapped by Kaya?"

Usopp suddenly got surprised, Luffy could tell things he couldn't see. Then Luffy explained, "You are a liar in the eyes villagers including her. But there is a limit to lying. When you lie to her about her butler, she got angry and hit you. Of course, this time you weren't lying but no one believed you because of your previous lies. What now, do you still plan to save your village even though they don't believe you?"

Usopp hears, rubbing his tears he says "Yes I will definitely protect my village"

"Well, you are our crew now so we will give you a helping hand," Luffy said by showing himself like posing, with a brilliant smile on his face.

"Thank you Luffy, you are great," Usopp said hugging Luffy.

"Okay, then what about a plan?" Usopp left Luffy and asked

"No plan, just crush them," Luffy said hitting both of his fists against each other.

"But we have to be clear about their path" Usopp helplessly said at Luffy bravery.

"Oh, where does pirate really attack from? Don't you know?" Luffy asked mysteriously thought Nami would answer him but didn't expect the answer would come from Zoro's mouth.

"From the back"

"Yes, so we should wait at the backshore of this island," Luffy said in a smile

"I know the direction, follow me," Usopp said and left with Luffy, Nami, and Zoro.

They reached the north side of this island where the Straw Hats boat was stationed. Nami hurriedly took a bit of gold out of her boat and went to the place where, Luffy, Zoro, and Usopp were currently stationed.

"Luffy even if you are powerful, we still need some plan to fight against those pirates" Usopp, seriously looked at Luffy and Zoro then said.

"So, what did you plan to do?" Luffy asked as if he doesn't even care whether Usopp will make a plan or not.

"Luffy doesn't be so arrogant, they may be strong" Nami was just arrived near the group, frown on hearing Luffy tone. She thought Luffy was too arrogant.

"I am stating the truth not being arrogant" Luffy refused to give up this time.

"Luffy although we know you are strong but don't underestimate those enemies" Zoro also felt bad seeing how much Luffy disdain his opponent.

"I am not getting arrogant. I am telling the truth unless the opponent has a hundred million belly bounties on his head or if he is logia, I will defeat him" Luffy bluntly refused any suggestion, boasting about himself.

"What? Hundred Millions Bounty?" Everyone cried in horror at Luffy.

"Luffy are you having a high fever" Zoro touched Luffy's forehead to check whether Luffy has a fever or not?

"Can you really fight hundred million belly bounty pirates?" Unlike Zoro and Usopp's reaction, Nami voice was shuttering as she was having a hard time believing it.

"Yes, so your enemy, how much bounty does he has?" Luffy asked

"Really Luffy" Nami didn't answer Luffy's question instead tried to confirm it once again.

"Am I a Usopp in your eyes?" Luffy made some weird questions, indicating Usopp as a liar.

"Hey," Usopp slapped air but couldn't refute.

"No, but" Nami still couldn't believe it

"Can you answer my question then?" Luffy asked again

"His name is Arlong, fish-man with a bounty of 20 million bellies," Nami said with fear in her eyes.

Although Luffy already knew this he still couldn't help but laugh "Puff, Haha"

"Hey why are laughing jerk?" Nami tears weren't dried, she gave deadly eyes to Luffy.

Seeing those eyes, Luffy holds back his laughter and said "If I use all of my strength at once, I can squash him like a bug" This moment, he made a hand sign, showing his thumbs down.

"Really?" Nami suddenly got happy, even she didn't know why she believed Luffy so much but all she did was to believe Luffy.

"So don't worry too much and focus on getting ready for a fight any time and you too Usopp," Luffy said to Nami and Usopp even though, he knew they weren't a fighter but now that doesn't matter because he doesn't want to go through so much pain for losing his crew in front of him like when they fight against Admiral Kizaru and Bear shichibukai.

"What? Why do we have to fight?" Nami and Usopp yelled at the same time

"Hey, this is your village" Zoro poked at Usopp making a weird expression

"But I am only good at hiding" Usopp legs start getting weaker as he starts falling in his knees, Nami's condition was no better

"Simply take this as your training and Nami, I want to tell you something," Luffy said while patting their shoulder from behind.

"What do you want to tell?" Nami was a little surprised by Luffy words, so she asked

"Well, previously I didn't know your enemy so I made a bet but now that no longer matters. I can easily destroy him but we can't kill him. I"ll contact my grandpa to take care of him after I defeated him. I'm sure he'll be thrown in jail or maybe executed but that will happen by marine. In short, I can't kill him but I promise to free your village" Luffy said with the sorrow expression

Hearing him, Nami was a little sad but since Luffy said he can free her village she nodded her head but still asked something "Why can't we kill him?" The reason she asked is because of her adopted mother dead. This was a pain that can never be healed, so she was very sad about hearing Luffy.

"Unless you want to be targeted by shichibukai, there is nothing we can do" Luffy shook his head, hiding some of his true intention. If he kills Arlong here, he can't ask Jinbe to join him. So considering this fact, he can't kill on the spot but that doesn't mean he won't be behind Arlong death.

He already planned to use marine hands to kill Arlong and this will not only make Nami happy but also increase marine reputation.

"Shichibukai,?" Nami, Luffy, and Zoro made surprise expression, in fact, they don't know much about shichibukai

"Well, shichibukai are special pirates that are authorized by the world government to keep the balance in this world. They are truly powerful in their own league such as Fish Man, the first son of the sea Jinbe. He is a very powerful pirate with a bounty of four hundred million but since he is authorized by the world government, his bounty has been frozen. But his strength he very clear, he is master of Haki and Fishman Karate." Luffy explained after seeing their doubts, he knows Jinbe bounty after the two years' time skips so he just used the same amount.

"Four hundred million,?" Usopp and Nami heart collapsed after hearing such a ridiculous amount but Zoro had excitement all over his face. His heart was thumping to reach Grandline.

"Yes, and for your information Zoro, Dracule Mihawk is also one the shichibukai and also strongest of them all. If you want to defeat him, you need to have a strength of more than Admiral at least. As for Admiral, they are the highest power of the marine and only three individuals can seat on the throne of Admiral out of hundred thousand marines." Seeing Zoro excited face, Luffy decided to pour cold water on it.

As he said, Zoro expression did get a little pale but Luffy patted his shoulder saying "Don't worry, I'll make you stronger than them"

Zoro could also feel Luffy's confidence; he deeply looked at Luffy's eyes and nodded his head.

"Okay, now you know why I told you to fight" Then Luffy looked at heartbroken Usopp and Nami, and said.

They didn't even answer Luffy, so Luffy continued "That's why in this battle, I won't use my full strength instead I want to learn something while fighting"

"Learn?" Suddenly Nami and Usopp wake up from their despair and shouted at the same time "What do you want to learn while fighting?"

"Well, you know I practice marine six styles, right?" Luffy asked looking at them

"Yes" Nami and Zoro nodded their head since they had seen Luffy using those techniques many times, but Usopp was confused.

"Well, in marine six styles, there is one technique called Kami-e. For this technique, if I can found an opponent with fast speed then I can learn while fighting, and Kuro is perfect for this. Three years ago, he was known for his speed and random merciless attacks. So If I use him to practice, then it will be the perfect training for me" Luffy explained

All three of them nodded their head hearing Luffy explanation then Nami asked "By the way Luffy, you seem to know everything"

"Well, believe it or not, but when I was ten years old. With the help of my grandpa, I created the best underground information gathering team. So, I know many things." Luffy made proud expression while saying these words. This was a clear cut lie and he also put everything on his grandpa again.

"Tch, don't brag" Nami made disgust expression on Luffy proud face giving him no face. Obviously, they won't believe him completely but they still do believe him about his information.
