Seeing Hina deep in thought, Yeyin wasn't sure if she understood what he was getting at. But at least he had managed to distract her.
If someone wanted to interfere with his "trash-collecting," then he wouldn't hesitate to deliver a motivational speech.
"Captain Yeyin! There's a ship ahead!"
"No, it's a fleet! A pirate fleet—there are more than five pirate ships!" the lookout called out in alarm.
"More than five ships?!"
"It seems we've encountered some powerful pirates. There might even be a pirate with a bounty in the tens of millions!"
"Prepare to fire!" Yeyin moved onto the deck and gave the order to attack. He had to admit, it felt pretty cool.
"Captain Yeyin, they're still out of range."
"Are we sure we want to fire now?" one of the artillery officers asked, looking puzzled.
"Out of range, huh…"
"Then let's wait until they're in range!" Yeyin felt slightly embarrassed, but thanks to his experience in "trash-collecting," he had long since developed a thick skin.
"Understood!" The artillery officer hurried off to relay the order.
But Yeyin couldn't help but wonder which pirate group was in front of them. A pirate fleet this large in the West Sea?
With the Grand Line open for so long, shouldn't they be heading for Reverse Mountain by now? Or maybe they were just another group of pirates who weren't interested in the ultimate treasure?
"Let's see…" Yeyin leaped up onto the mast, took the telescope from the lookout, and activated his Sharingan.
"Uh… I don't recognize that flag," he said with a sigh after seeing the main ship's emblem. This meant the pirate crew wasn't from the original storyline. So, they were likely just cannon fodder.
Soon, both sides' ships were visible without the telescope. The pirates had also spotted the navy ship, but it seemed they had no intention of avoiding or fleeing.
"Boom! Boom! Boom…!"
At that moment, Yeyin's crew started firing.
"Captain Yakos, a navy warship is firing on us. There's only one ship!" a pirate reported calmly to his captain.
"One navy ship?"
"Let's see who's bold enough to attack me!" Yakos said, walking slowly to the deck.
Swish!
A long spear suddenly appeared in his hand, and he threw it directly at Yeyin's ship with great force.
"Hmm?"
"Two-Sword Style: Horizontal Water Wheel Slash!"
Yeyin used "Shave" to dash to the front of the ship, blocking the attack with a horizontal slash.
Bang!
The powerful impact forced Yeyin back onto the deck.
"Heh, I guess I underestimated people from around the world!"
"Hina, any intel?" Yeyin turned to Hina, who was searching through the bounty posters.
"Hina found it."
"They're the Hunter Pirates. The captain, Yakos, has a bounty of 21 million."
"The first mate, Byado, has a bounty of 12 million."
"And the sniper, Turam, has a bounty of 10 million."
Hina quickly reported the information.
As expected of a large pirate crew; they had three high-bounty fighters. The crew name, "Hunters," sounded pretty intimidating too! But Yeyin wondered if their strength was as impressive as their name.
