I didn't have any parents in my last life. So I was really grateful that, in this life at least I got a loving family regardless of their financial situation. My father most of the time stayed busy in his work while giving us money in self whenever he came back in every three four months. He might not be able to spend his time with me but I loved him. There is no way I am gonna sit here with the hopes of marines doing anything.
"When were they attacked ?" I asked to the man.
"We got a message from the branch office through the den den mushi of the main office last night. But considering the time it takes to reach the branch office of the pole star Island, I would say that roughly one or two days have passed." The employee informed me.
I knew I am not the strongest. But at least I am far more stronger than Luffy when he set sailed from romance dawn island.
Even if those pirates are from grand line I didn't care. If I start now, then maybe I can reach to my father before he is taken far away.
"Maki ! No." Mom's voice broke me out of my thoughts. I looked towards her. She was telling me to stop whatever I was going to do with her eyes. Her eyes were stern and yet begging at the same time.
"The company has declared 50000 berries for the family of the missing members. If you want then you can collect your consolation money from the main office of Goa shipping company. You have to go within 7 days to collect the money if you want.
That is all I have to inform you.
I am deeply sorry for your misfortune.
Pardon me, but I will take my leave." The man bowed formally and left us alone.
After he left, my mother turned towards me.
"Maki. For my sake and your brother, don't leave. The sea is very dangerous. I know that you are strong. Probably the strongest in the east blue right now, but there are many dangers out there. I love your father but I refuse to lose you just trying to get him back." Frey told me sternly.
"I didn't even tell you anything. How in the world you know what I was thinking ?" I was surprised that she could predict my thought so easily.
"Maki, I might not know you very well, but I have carried you for 9 months in my womb. I know how you feel about your father.
And I know that if he is alive then only you can save him. But I just don't want to take any chance." Frey hugged me tightly.
I didn't know how to console her at this point. I have already made my decision to go after father. Obviously I am not going to say this out loud. Otherwise she will never let me go.
I didn't have anything to say so I said the first thing that came to my mind.
"I am hungry."
"*Sob*sob* Ofcourse ! Go take a bath. I will prepare breakfast right now."
She wiped out her tears and went inside to prepare food.
I went inside the house to get a change of clothes. We didn't have a bath in our small house. So I will have to go to the nearby stream.

'the path that master wants to follow is very dangerous. While I will be able to keep master alive, if master goes to save her father, then the road ahead of her, will be too agonising and painful.
At this moment in master's life she has two choices.
1-listen to your mother's advice, and don't pursue after your father.
In this case your life will be hard but not that much. You will lose your father. But until you turn 17, you will have your loving mother and brother with you. You will not have a easy life. But your sufferings will not be the worst in the world.
In the end you will become a Sigma and leave your footprint in the world.
2-listen to your own heart and pursue after your father.
In this case you will go to hell. You will face so much pain that there is chance of more than 50% that you will be broken at the end. You will be able to save your father. And he will reunite with the rest of your family. But you will not stay among them. Your life will be extremely difficult for next few years in which your survival will be more painful than death.
In the end, the chance of your becoming a Sigma is only 40%. But if you managed to do it, then you will shake the entire world in the future.
When I heard Alfred, I stopped on my track from the river back to my home.
I didn't ponder on the first choice very much. If I am going to lose Leon, then that option is invalid for me. But the second option is too ominous.
But I could deduce what Alfred was warning me about. In this world there is no hell worse than the holy lands of Mariejoice. Becoming the slave of a world noble, is the worst fate for a person.
The system was indirectly warning me that if I go after my father then I will probably turn into a slave of a celestial Dragon. That was the price for Leon's life.
'Alfred is there any chance that I will manage to rescue leon and won't suffer that dangerous fate you are talking about.'
'I asked to Alfred.'
'Yes, there is a 0.000000001 % chance of master rescuing her father without getting dragged into that worse fate.'
I was no protagonist. And even if I am the protagonist of my own story then I doubt that I will be able to succeed with that number. But it is a sacrifice that I was ready to give in order to save Leon.
But before taking my final decision I have something that I wanted to know.
