(5) Mastering Rokushiki!

I woke up to a head of blue hair in my face, of course the blue hair belonged to Aoki.

"Aoki! Wake up!"

I said as I spat the pieces of blue hair that were in my mouth out of it. I got out of bed and checked the calendar. I can't believe that I've been in this world for four months already; all of this still feels like a dream.

Throughout these last four months, I've come to master Soru, Geppo, Rankyaku, Tekkai, and Kami-e. The only reason I was able to master all five of the techniques was due to the systems assistance, I amassed a pretty large wealth over the four months as well, as I gained over two hundred thousand berries.

I've come to find that Aoki has genius level talent in swordsmanship, even beating Kuina who's been training since she was little and has the ability to beat adults.

Their record right now is 6-10 with Aoki being the six of course, just because she had genius level talent wouldn't make her instantly able to defeat Kuina; who is a World-Class talent swordsmanship wise.

" *Yawn* Huh? Big brother? Why are you in my bed?" Aoki asked in a drowsy voice.

"Hah, your bed? you're in my bed you know." I laughed; my little sister was truly the cutest little thing!

I picked up Aoki and moved her to the other side of the bed as I got up and walked to the bathroom, I washed my face and brushed my teeth and put my clothes on.

I wore a blue jean jacket and wore it like how Mikey from Tokyo Revengers did, I felt a little bad ass when I did this, so I did as it was the right occasion. I'll master Shigan today and master the Rokushiki style all together!

Me and Aoki walked down the stairs of the orphanage and prepared to leave though we were stopped by a mean looking woman.

"Uhh, Yes Ms. Cornelia?" I asked the lady, she looked me up and down and spoke.

"Avery and Aoki, you two have passed the age to be in my care. So unfortunately, I can't allow you two to stay here anymore." Ms. Cornelia said.

"Hmm, so you're kicking us out huh? Ms. Cornelia need I remind you all the things we did for you over the years?!"

I almost cursed at her during that last part, thankfully Aoki calmed me down.

"Okay! We'll be out of your hair, just let us gather our things and we'll leave." I said in an angry tone.

We walked back up the stairs and gathered our things, it didn't take us too long as we didn't have many things anyway.

We both walked back down the stairs and left the house, we didn't even glance at Ms. Cornelia as scum would be scum.

I decided to ask Mr. Koushirou if we could stay with him for the time being.

As we walked to the dojo, Aoki looked up at me and spoke.

"Avery, cool off you still look mad. You're going to scare somebody if you walk around like that!" She said, making me laugh a little.

"Very funny, she just kicked us out! How wouldn't I be angry? After all the help we've given her over the years she treats us like shit!" I said in an angered tone.

"That's all in the past now, just think of it as an arc in our life coming to a close. Now we welcome a new arc!" Aoki said with a bright smile on her face.

"You always know how to cheer me up don't you?" I said as I pinched her face.

"Ow, Ow, Ow!"

"So you two want to live here now?" Mr. Koushirou asked.

"W-we…yeah we do." I decided to just give him a straight answer.

"Of course you can, I see you two as my own children! It'd be wrong to not let you stay." Mr. Koushirou said, getting a thankful sigh out of me and Aoki.

"Hah, I honestly thought you'd say no. Anyway thanks Mr. Koushirou! We promise to make it up to you!" I said as I bowed, I grabbed Aoki's head and lowered it making her bow as well.

"Now, Now, stop exaggerating; Now wait here, I'll get rooms ready for you two."

Well now that I'm free, I can finally master Shigan. I stood up off the ground and looked for something to practice on, I walked outside to the outdoor training ground and found a medium sized boulder just there.

"Odd but thanks anyway" I walked towards the boulder and stuck my index finger out, I got no ready and put force into my finger and attacked the boulder.

My finger moved rapidly towards the boulder and pierced it. It made a small hole in the boulder, it wasn't the size of a bullet hole though; showing that I haven't mastered it yet.

But I was close, and that's all I needed to know.

---{30 PIERCES LATER}---

The boulder now looked like a sponge, with holes all over it. I go in to pierce it again and my finger moves at an untrackable speed, my finger rapidly hit the boulder and I take it out to see the damage.

A hole the size of a bullet was created in the hole, proving that I've finally mastered Shigan.
