Chapter 303: The Endless Chase

"We made it… huff." Vivi placed the massive rock on the deck of the ship.

"Finnally…" Zoro said.

" It wasn't thanks to you!" Nami wanted to smack him again.

"At least we managed to lose our pursuers." Franky pointed out.

"Of course, they never expected us to follow such a weird path through the forest." Sanji glanced at Zoro.

"Hurry up and take us to our ship," Ichiji demanded.

"Indeed, the sooner we go separate ways from those pirates, the safer we will be," Niji said.

"They are not your servants!" Sanji shouted.

"It doesn't matter, we need to leave now." Said vivi. 

"Let's go then!" Franky went to start the ship.

A short time later, they were able to reach Chocolate Island's port without catching a glimpse of their pursuers.

Something that had everyone on edge.

"Where do you think they are?" Nami asked.

"If I had to guess, preparing an ambush for when we try to leave the archipelago." Vivi consider.

"The aura of that whale is all over the place."

The Vinsmoke got off the Sunny to go into their giant snail ship.

When Sanji was also about to go down, Nami stopped him.

"Where are you going?"

"I…I still need to go with them…" He looked very troubled. The threat his father gave was still hanging over his head.

"wedding or not, that boy is mine." his father spoke.

"Well find another use for him."

Ichiji and Nini chuckled. Yonji didn't seem to care, but Renji looked worried.

"Father, I think that-"

"You keep your mouth shut. I already heard you before." He gave Vivi a quick look.

"My decision stands!"

Vivi was about to jump off the ship and teach that arrogant man a lesson when she spotted something approaching.

"We can discuss this later, Big Momma has found us…get this thing moving Franky!. NOW!"

"Give it back!, Strawhat Vivi!" Big mom screamed.

The Vinsmoke along with Sanji go on their ship while the Sunny starts moving.

"Can we lose them?" Zoro asked.

"In terms of speed, the Sunny is definitely superior, but.." Nami had a bad feeling while looking at Big Mom's ship.

"She is doing something!" Franky pointed.

Big Mom was standing on the deck while holding a ball of fire.

"Prometheus, go get them!" She chunked the miniature sun at them.

"One sword style…Great dragon shock!" Zoro performed a vertical swing with his cursed blade, Shishui.

Prometheus was cut in half before he could reach their ship and started screaming in pain while running back to Big Mom.

"Momma, that hurt!"

"Good one, Zoro!" Nami cheered.

Vivi clenched her fist. If she could use her awakening one more time, she could sink that ship. That would not be enough to kill Big Mom but at least could stop their pursuit. However, she still needed more time to recover. 

"Hey look!" Franky pointed to their side. The Germa66 ship was changing curse.

"They are trying to gain distance from us."

"Make sense, they know we are her first target…" Vivi said.

"The shitty cook is still in there," Zoro commented.

"He is right we can't let them get away!, we need to get Sanji back," Nami exclaimed.

"Leave it to me!" Franky said with confidence.

The pursuit continued for hours, with Big Mom launching stuff at them and either Zoro or Vivi reflecting on them.

The Germa66 ship was not able to gain any significant distance.

"What are we going to do…we can't lose them" Nami was exhausted, as everyone else.

"We are running low on cola," Franky said.

They had to use several bursts to avoid attacks from Big Mom familiars.

Vivi placed a hand on Nami's shoulder.

"Is okay…I think I have recovered enough now. "

"Are you sure?" Nami looked uneasy. She knew that Vivi had already used her awakening twice that day.

Vivi smiled.

"Yes, I'm better. Just watch me kick that whale ass." 

Vivi walked to the back of the ship where an exhausted and injured Zoro was standing guard without complaints.

"Go rest, Zoro. " She told him as she passed by.

He glanced at her for a moment.

"Yeah…I think I'll do that." Zoro grinned.

"About time…go sink that damn ship."

Vivi clasped her hands together. Her eyes started to shine more and more….her skin became translucent.

"Awaken…UNDINE!"

The triplets of Big Mom's ship became alert.

"Momma!, they are doing something!" 

"tsk, they should give up already! I'm so hungry…bring more parfaits!" 

"The chefs are making more as fast as they can but…we are starting to run low on ingredients.." 

"Huh?...." She gave the man an intimidating glare.

"Fine, let's end this already… Prometheus, take me there. I'll go personally onto their ship. This chasing game is over."

"But momma, that's dangerous, what if that swordsman cuts me again!" The miniature sun told her.

"The swordman is gone… " Zeus pointed out.

"There is only that blue-haired girl now, but…she looks to be doing something."

"Mmmm, her soul feels different now…" Big Mom narrowed her eyes.

Their entire ship started to shake.

"What is going on?!, keep the ship steady!" She ordered.

"I think, there is something beneath us, Momma!" Brulee said.

"She is right, the sea is moving in a strange way." A large woman with green hair commented on. 

"Father look!, something is happening to the waters!" back at the Germa66 ship, Yonji and the rest of the family watching the chase with interest. 

"There are some strange waves underneath Big Mom's ship…" Judge narrowed his eyes.

"You are not going to like this….you fatass!" Vivi shouted loud enough for Big Mom to hear.

"What did you call me?!" Charlotte Linlin was used to everyone being polite to her. No one would dare to insult her, much less to bring her weight problem.

The family around her was getting worried. If their mother loses what little self-control she has left now, she may start attacking them.

"Momma don't listen to that woman!" Brulee hurried to say.

"Yeah, she doesn't know what she is saying!. You look fantastic, as always!" Her other daughter added.

Vivi was done with her preparations and proceeded to act.

She raised both hands in the air, and as she did so…two massive water hands rose from the waters around Big Mom's ship and did the same.

Everyone on board got scared at the sight. 

The water hands were even bigger than their own ship.

These followed Vivi's motions and grabbed onto the sides of Big Mom's ship.

"Go back to the seas, you fat whale!" 

She tipped her ship over and sank it deep into the waters before they could do anything.
