Chapter 200: Secret Laboratory

"Buzz…is so cold here!." Nami started shivering.

The Straw requested to be taken to this secret lab since Luffy and the rest were bound to end up there. They followed the directions from their captive and were now navigating through a frozen area.

"How can an island be from and on fire at the same time?" Asked Franky.

"It's been like this since two years ago. From what I have heard, this island was the place where two Marine Admirals battled…and this was the result." One of the men answered.

The crew was surprised at hearing this.

"This was the result of a fight?" Chopper exclaimed.

Nami opened her eyes widely.

"Oh, I read something about this in the newspaper two years ago. Admiral Aokiji and Admiral Akainu got into a serious argument which ended up in Aokiji leaving the Marines. But there was no mention of them fighting on some island."

"Well, I guess is not something the WG would want to announce." Said Vivi.

"I'm going inside to get a coat before I freeze to death. " Said Nami.

"And speaking of freezing."

She gave Sanji a kick.

"How long are you going to sleep, it's been almost an hour already!"

"Uggh." Sanji woke up with a jump.

"The gas!, I need to warn…" He looked around.

"What happened?..."

Vivi sighed.

"Let's wake up Franky first, then we will put you two up to speed."

"That's a lab? is huge. It looks like a fortress." Said Franky.

"It used to be a Marine facility…" the man was shivering.

"Can we get some clothes too?...you took away our protective suits!"

The other men nodded their heads.

"We are going to freeze like this!".

They were only wearing their underwear and some T-shirts.

"You should have about that before attacking us!" Buggy gave the man a cruel smile.

He was enjoying this.

"We could use the protective suits to gain entrance without raising any alarms. Then we can see what this place is really all about, whoever sent that emergency signal is probably there." Suggested Nami.

"There are only five suits for the seven of us." Sanji pointed out.

"That's fine, we will need at least a couple of prisoners. That was their mission, remember?" Vivi pointed at the bounded men.

"It would be suspicious if they came back with nothing."

"So, who is going to the prisoner? asked Buggy.

"You damn bastards, let me go!" Screamed the clown as he tried to free himself from his restraints.

Franky on the other hand was much better behaved.

"Wow, you guys got some nasty ones this time ." One of the two door-guardsmen said.

"Is that a robot?" The other one asked, pointing at Franky.

"I am a cyborg!"

"Only two?, Where is the rest of the crew?" The guard asked.

"Not in the ship. They must be somewhere on the island." Said Sanji, faking a raspy voice.

"Is that you, Jonhy? You sound terrible."

"Just a cold." Sanji pretended to cough.

"Oh well. Come on then, go inside and take a rest after leaving those two in a cell."

"Put them in 102, it's empty, other than the samurai head."

That comment caught their attention.

Sanji just noted his head and they went inside.

"Did you hear that? The samurai is in here!" Whispered Chopper.

"They must have captured him after attacking those people from the message." Concluded Nami.

"But why did he mention only the head?" Wondered Franky.

"You don't think they are only keeping a detached head, right?" That's so scary…" Brook shivered.

"Get these cuffs off!" Demanded Buggy.

"Wait for a bit. We may encounter more guards." Said Vivi.

"Was it okay to leave those guys tied up on the ship? They are going to freeze." Said Nami.

"I gave them a blanket, it's okay." Added Chopper.

"So…where are we going?" Asked Sanji.

"We should take a look at that cell 102 where they are keeping the samurai."Suggested Vivi.

Nami looked around. "We don't know where the cell block is and where can just-"

"Excuse me. Where are the cells?." Brook had left the group and found a guard to ask.

"How can you not know that?...wait, who are you?, I don't recognize your voice. And why are you wearing the gas mask inside?" The guard held his weapon at the ready while not taking his eyes off Brook.

"Oh…very well." Brook took off his mask, revealing his bony face to the guard.

The guard became pale from the shock before he let out a loud scream and passed out from the horror.

"Oh dear…" Brook looked troubled.

"You know? That seems like an appropriate reaction at seeing him, I'm surprised people do not react like that more often." Commented Nami.

They all approached the unconscious guard.

"Now we don't know where to go!" Exclaimed Chooper.

"There are signs all over the place, damn it!" Buggy yelled with frustration.

There were several signs on the walls with arrows pointing in many directions.

"There!" Nami pointed at one that said ' Cells 100-200' with an arrow next to it.

"Well, I'll be damn…the clown was useful for once. " Sanji looked to be in shock.

"This is a bad sign…" Said Nami.

"I'm scared!" Cried Chopper.

"I hate all of you!" Screamed Buggy.
