Another day passed. The next morning, Buggy woke up to Shanks' urgent shouting.

He got out of bed immediately and headed for the door. As he stepped outside, he saw Shanks running towards him, shouting something.

As he got closer, Buggy heard what Shanks was saying. He couldn't help but get excited too.

"Buggy, Buggy! The captain's back! They're about to dock. Let's go greet them!" Shanks' face was full of smiles. He grabbed Buggy's hand and ran towards the beach.

They quickly reached the shore and saw their ship, the Oro Jackson, a massive vessel sailing towards them. Dozens of figures stood on the deck, some waving. Buggy even saw the legendary Pirate King, Roger.

"Shanks, Buggy!" Roger waved enthusiastically from afar, his voice the loudest and most enthusiastic. His smile was so bright that Buggy could see it from a distance.

"Captain, we're here!" Shanks shouted back, waving as well.

Seeing Shanks' reaction, Buggy had no choice but to follow suit, even exaggerating his own response.

He had to act like the original Buggy would have in this situation. He had to be even more enthusiastic than Shanks. At the same time, he was truly excited to meet Pirate King Roger, and his expression was partly genuine.

The Oro Jackson soon docked at the harbor, and dozens of figures disembarked, each radiating an aura of strength.

Buggy clearly saw Pirate King Roger. He looked very similar to Ace, with a black beard and a nobleman's coat. He was tall and imposing, but he lacked the sternness of a powerful figure. He looked very gentle, with a smile on his face, making Buggy feel strangely at ease.

As Roger approached, Buggy suddenly thought of a serious problem. Roger's Observation Haki was at its peak, capable of hearing the sounds of all things. Would he notice Buggy's anomaly? What would he do if he was discovered?

Buggy's heart sank. He had no idea what to do.

"Buggy, what are you thinking? What's wrong?" Shanks noticed Buggy's strange behavior and couldn't help but ask.

Hearing Shanks' words, Buggy snapped out of his daze. He realized that his current behavior was very abnormal. He had already panicked.

He forced himself to calm down and said, "Nothing, just thinking about how the captain is the Pirate King now. I wonder what our lives will be like."

"Haha, why worry about that? Everything will be decided by the captain."

Shanks ran towards Roger, and Buggy followed. There was no point in overthinking things. He couldn't control any of this.

"You two little rascals, how come you've grown so much in just a few days?" Roger smiled at them, saying this and reaching out to pat both their heads.

"Captain, you're finally back! We've been waiting for you every day."

"Yeah, yeah! Captain, you're finally back!"

Buggy echoed Shanks' words, as he always did.

"Captain, how was Laugh Tale? Was there a huge treasure?"

This was something the original Buggy would have asked. It was something that Buggy was curious about now too.

"Hahaha, you little brats, how was Laugh Tale? You can go see for yourselves. There's treasure, and there's a lot of it. It's all still there. I didn't take anything."

"Captain, why didn't you take anything? Why did you leave all that treasure there?" Buggy continued the conversation.

"I don't need those things. I left them there. If you're ever good enough, you can go get them yourselves."

"Captain, you're the Pirate King now. You know what Laugh Tale is like. We're going to rule the entire New World. Do we really need to go there?"

"Little Buggy, I need to tell you something too." Roger suddenly became serious.

Hearing Roger's serious tone, Buggy realized what he was about to say. He didn't expect his questions to lead to Roger's announcement.

"Looking back, it's all been a miracle. I was doomed to die soon, but I managed to get this far. I'm truly grateful to all of you."

Everyone looked at Roger.

Gaban, standing beside Roger, immediately spoke up, "No, no, no. What are you talking about? Why so serious, you damn captain?" A look of embarrassment crossed his face. A burly man like him was suddenly flustered.

"How embarrassing, you idiot," a crew member added.

"Idiot!"

"Idiot!"

"Idiot!"

...

The rest of the crew joined in, all laughing.

Roger's expression became even more serious. After a moment, he said, "I have to say it."

"Go ahead. I'm ready," Gaban said, standing straight.

Everyone else stood up straight as well.

Roger looked at everyone, smiling, and said, "I'm going to disband the Roger Pirates."

Hearing this, everyone's faces were filled with shock, followed by sadness.

Seeing their reaction, Roger didn't say anything else. He smiled at everyone.

Buggy's face was also filled with sadness. It wasn't an act. It was a genuine, instinctive reaction. He knew what Roger was going to say. He had prepared himself, but when he heard those words, he was devastated. Tears flowed uncontrollably.

Shanks, standing beside him, also cried, looking at Roger as if he had a lot to say.

Roger looked at Shanks and Buggy, and once again reached out to place his hands on their heads.

Everyone was filled with sadness. After a long time, Roger spoke again, "Everyone, get on board. It's time to go home. I can accompany you for the last leg of the journey."

Hearing this, everyone got up and boarded the ship, their sadness lingering. The Oro Jackson set sail once more, carrying their sorrow.

Meanwhile, the seas were starting to churn. Pirates on countless ships, brandishing their swords, shouted slogans about defeating Roger, claiming his treasure and the position of Pirate King, chasing after Roger's footsteps across the ocean.

The Marines also mobilized a large number of troops, pursuing Roger's trail, hoping to find and eliminate him before he could grow stronger.

On board the Oro Jackson.

"Buggy, why did the captain disband the crew? Are we really going to separate?" Shanks' face was filled with sadness. He looked at Buggy, who was equally sad.

"How would I know? Go ask the captain," Buggy couldn't tell Shanks what would happen next. It was hard to explain.

After hearing Buggy's words, Shanks seemed to make a decision. He got up and walked towards where Roger was.

Watching Shanks leave, Buggy felt a mixture of sadness and relief. He was sure that Captain Roger hadn't noticed his anomaly.

He thought about it and felt a sense of relief. His performance had been perfectly normal. Even the emotions he had shown were genuine. Captain Roger wouldn't use his ability on his crew members without a reason.

Standing there, Buggy saw Shanks seemingly asking the captain something. They were having a conversation, and after a while, Shanks seemed to hear something. He burst into tears again, clutching Roger's coat tightly and sobbing.
