"How's the operation going so far?"

"No problems; we've started building our base in wano, but due to the size of the works, it won't be fully completed for at least 5 years," replied King.

"And the weapon production?"

"We already have a large quantity in stock and of great quality, but if we want to increase production, we need to build more factories," King replied.

"Mmmm, do the workers cause any problems?"

"After the example we made by killing a worker and his whole family for refusing to return to work, none," said King.

"Wororororo, is Orochi still following the established plan?"

"To the letter, but he's still scared of the possible return of that samurai."

"Samurai? You mean that Kozuki Oden?"

"Yes, Kaido-sama, although I trust in his victory, I think it would be prudent not to underestimate him."

"You're right, King. He's undoubtedly a formidable opponent, and I look forward to facing him," responded my father.

After this, they continued the conversation about turning Wano into their permanent base for operations and launching expeditions to gain more power and riches. Although she paid little attention after the initial conversation. From what she heard, Oden had not returned to Wano, which meant Gol D Roger was still alive, and the Great Pirate Era had not yet begun. When Oden returned, Orochi and Kaido would plot a plan to deceive him, as they were still not powerful enough to confront him.

If she remembered correctly, Orochi had explained Oden's true origins to him and his intention to bring Wano to complete ruin for what had been done to him and his family. In addition, he was kidnapping hundreds of people from Wano to deliver them to Kaido as slaves. So Orochi proposed a deal: Oden would publicly dance each week in loincloths as a way to apologize to the Kurozumi and save 100 lives. He would have to do it for a few years until the construction of the ships they would leave the country in was completed (which was a lie). In the end, Oden accepted. In her opinion, a bad decision. If Oden had confronted them at that moment, he would have undoubtedly won. He had almost killed Kaido when he already had an army, and oden only had his 9 samurais, if it weren't for the intervention of the old Kurozumi distracting Oden at the last second Kaido would've likely died.

If her calculations were correct, she had 5 years until Oden's execution. That would be when the absolute tyranny of Orochi and Kaido would begin, leading Wano to ruin.

She had no intention of enduring 20 years of beatings, hunger, and misery from her father. Maybe if she kept quiet and didn't say any nonsense like wanting to be "Oden," she would have a somewhat "normal" childhood, but she wasn't sure about that. Maybe it was because she had seen it in the series and manga, but ultimately, her best option would be to escape.

Yes, her best chance to escape would be during Oden's execution. She would love to warn the samurai about Kaido's and Orochi's plans, but it would be completely impossible to get close to him. She made a mental list to plan the things she would need for her escape:

Learn to sail: EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, being the daughter of a pirate, she didn't think it would be strange to want to know how to sail, and she would have to be good, not at Nami's level, but decent. She was in the second part of the Grand Line, the New World, a place of impossible weather phenomena. If she wasn't careful, her escape would fail even before it started, and she would likely die.

Learn to fight: No discussion, she had to learn how to defend herself. This world was not a friendly place. In one thing, her father was right: you're either strong or you're nothing.

Find out how to unlock her Haki and how to use the 6 Styles / Rokushiki. She had a vague idea of how she could learn some of them, and except for the Finger Pistol technique, the rest gave the user a wide range of very useful skills. The problem would be with Haki; she knew from the anime how to learn Observation Haki. The difficult part would be with Armament Haki, and it was implied that Conqueror's Haki awakened when a person experienced great anguish or something like that. There was also a big question: technically, she was Yamato in body, but not in soul. Could she use Conqueror's Haki?
