Cover Up

After 2 hours DIO had finally found the mission report he was looking for. It was just as he predicted.

Apparently our dear ex-admiral had offended one of those World Noble's, a male one, by refusing to pleasure him.

Since there wasn't anything even a World Noble could directly do to a Marine Admiral he decided to target Z's family.

The file he found was sickening to say the least. Apparently a couple of CP-0 agents went to Z's hometown, acting as pirates slaughtered half the village.

But they didn't stop there. They kidnapped his son and brought him to that sick pig, who said "the child should pleasure me in place of his father". The kid was killed by the Celestial Pig after few days while shouting "SAVE ME DADDY"

The worst part however, was Sengoku 'The Buddha' - one of Z's best friends was apparently there, but was ordered to stand down by Kong - the boys godfather. They both lied to Z for years about what happened.

It had been 3 weeks since "Black Arm" Zephyr's marine ship was attacked. And he lost his arm.

His animosity towards pirates had reached to new levels and he left the marines alongside few of his students to get some 'Real Justice'.

On the other hand, DIO had left the Base and directly went to Hamplem Isle, last known location of Zephyr.

On his way there he saw White Tiger, Zephyr's ship. DIO [Geppo]'d to its deck alerting everyone on the ship. Z, Ain, Binz and Shuzo all circled around him.

Z: "Who are you?" he asked to blue-haired stranger.

DIO: "I'm 'Blue-Haired' DIO a Celestial Dragon hater and I wanted to share something with you." Ain, Binz and Shuzo all moved in front of Z with their weapons drawn. Each one of them ready to attack at Z's command.

Z: "And what would you, a pirate would like to share with me?" getting his arm ready to smash this 'stupid boy' in front of him

DIO: "It's about your family." this stopped Z for a second, he glared full force at the 'cockroach' in front of him but before he could do or say anything DIO threw him a mission report "Read it" he said

After reading the report Zephyr falls on his knees. All this time he hated the pirates. But the real scum of the world was the ones who were ordering him. Zephyr started crying before turning his anger towards the young man in front of him.

Z: "Why would you show me this?"

DIO: "You needed to know... And I have a proposition for you" he stops "A way for you to channel your anger to the true villains in this world, a way for you to bring justice for your family, a way for you to truly be a ... HERO"

Z: "So what? I should just join you and become a pirate? Hard pass" anger evident in his voice.

DIO: "Huahhaha. No no no, not to me, you should know about your friends son, Dragon has started a group, he is really sticking it up to those Nobles. And he could use an excellent trainer and ally like you ... Z."

Zephyr glares at the 'Blue-Haired' youth in front of him. he wipes his tears away and nods towards DIO.

Ain: "Z-Sensei what is going on, what did that report say?" he couldn't tell her, so he gives her the report, other 2 comes next to her and reads it together. When they finish their eyes were widened. 'Ho-How could this be?' was the only thought going through their minds.

Z talking to DIO: "Brat I'll think about joining Dragon's group. Just make sure you don't become one of those r**ping, pillaging types, the world can't handle another Rocks" He glares at DIO. "Or else I'll come and kill you myself" glaring full force now.

An 18 year old that could match him, despite being weakened seriously, had potential to reach the same level as Rogers, Whitebeard and ROCKS after all.

DIO: 'It went much better than I expected' he nods "Alright old man, just don't die before you meet up with Dragon. I hate to admit it, but this world needs a Revolution. A Government that protects those of Celestial Pig's should come to an end and with you it would be much easier."

Z: "You are speaking as if you respect revolutionaries a lot, why not join them yourself, why become a pirate?" he was genuinely curious.

DIO smiles: "Sorry old man, unlike you I'm not the hero type. To me, this world is a one big adventure, I just want to see how far my adventure will take."

When DIO was about to leave, he was stopped by Zephyr "You don't think I will just let you leave though kid. Right?" he glares "After all I still don't trust you. You are still a pirate"

Zephyr turns towards Ain: "Ain, I have a mission for you, your last mission. Join this guys crew and make sure he doesn't becomes like Rocks ... I don't think we can survive a 2nd coming of Rocks"

Ain nods towards her mentor and father figure, she wanted to help him as much as she can. Especially after learning about what truly happened to his family. And if he wanted for her to keep a look on this pirate for him. She would.

-3 Hours Later, DIO's POV-

It went much better than I expected. Not only Z didn't smashed my skull in and agreed to at least check Dragon's Army, which will put me in both of theirs good grace.

I gain a strong crew member. She is already Rear Admiral Level and learned basic Haki.

I should try to break the ice as soon as possible though, after all she only joined to keep an eye on me for 'Z-sensei'. *Sighs* It might take a while to earn her trust.

DIO: "Yo Ain-chan, would you mind telling me about yourself. Likes, dislikes, hobbies and dreams and such"

Ain looked at me in a stoic way: "My name is Ain, I'm 19 years old, I like training and Z-sensei. I dislike certain type of pirates and Celestial Dragons. My hobbies include reading and my dream is to take revenge on those Celestial Dragons and to kill Shiki the Golden Lion"

DIO (okay lets channel my inner protagonist) : "I'm still not strong enough to take on a legend like Golden Lion or The Celestial Dragons ... yet. But, since you joined the crew I am going to help you achieve your goals" *Smiles & Sighs* "I know that you only joined the crew as a favour for Z and to keep an eye on me. But, please give me and the others a chance, and hopefully you will see us as something more than an obligation."

-Ain's POV-

Ho-how could this man, DIO say something like that. People don't just trust others this quickly... right? I guess I'll give him a shot ... for now.

But at the first sign he starts to turn out like Shiki, Kaido or Rocks I'm taking him down myself.
