Surprises? Part 2

After their momentary truce, Victor Moriarty and Vice Admiral Garp agreed to keep their differences aside for a few days. Probably due to gratitude for bringing Sabo home, Garp arranged for their stay in the village for a few days. There was a modest guest house in Garp's seaside summer estate which he rented to Victor for a reasonable price.

"Let's go, Robin!! I need to take a bath and rest." Victor said as he teleported beside his woman and gave her a set of keys. Robin dressed in a comfortable gown stood at a distance as she observed Sabo excitedly running toward two other kids.

"Aren't you going to meet him, Victor?" Robin asked playfully.

"Let's do that later! I am a little tired after dealing with the old man."

After living with him for quite some time she could practically read him like a book. He didn't want to interfere in their family reunion, he had done his part so Sabo would have to deal with his affairs on his own.

"What's the marine hero doing here?" Robin questioned when she saw the giant old man in Marine uniform standing at a distance also observing the kids emotionally. She was still a little hesitant about trusting the Marines after her childhood trauma.

"It's okay dear!" Victor gripped her hands assuringly as he began to narrate the relationships between Garp and the three kids. Robin was shocked as she heard the real identities of Luffy and Ace. The sons of the worst criminals in the world and grandsons of the Marine Hero Garp. One's father is heading a revolution against the government while the other's actively defied the Government by reading the poneglyps and becoming the infamous King of the Pirates.

"Okay then, I'll try not to be weary. But I still don't trust the Marines and their idiotic sense of justice," Robin nodded with a smile as she softly held his rough hands filled with calluses from training as they leisurely strolled through the greenery of Mt. Culobo.

Meanwhile in the background:

"Sabooooo!!! I am glad you are alive!!!" A little kid with a simple straw hat and scars under his eyes shouted tearfully as he hugged Sabo tightly, afraid that this might be a dream. Who else could it be other than Monkey D. Luffy? He was not alone though, there was also Garp who watched from a distance, and Portgas D. Ace who looked at the scene in disbelief almost questioning reality. After following Luffy's trail he finally arrived near their secret treehouse only to see a ghost of their past.

"Sabo?? How are you still alive? We saw your ship get attacked by that bastard," Ace asked with a little hesitation and disbelief when he saw Luffy hugging the blonde boy wearing a familiar blue hat in front of him. Sabo was a little nervous when he saw the familiar faces and failed to respond coherently as he burst into tears.

"G..Guys I...I am S..sorry I couldn't come sooner!!", Sabo stuttered as he burst into tears. He didn't realize that he would get so emotional after returning home.

Luffy pulled away from the hug, looking Sabo in the eyes with pure joy and relief. "It doesn't matter, Sabo! You're here now, and that's all that matters!" Luffy grinned, wiping away his tears with the back of his hand. Garp also burst into a smile when they heard Luffy's simple words, he was the first one to accept the fact without any second thoughts. Victor had explained what happened in the past causing his disgust for the Celestial Dragon and the royalty of Goa Kingdom to rise to the next level.

Still trying to process the situation, Ace stepped forward and examined Sabo closely. "You really had us worried there, Sabo," he said, a mixture of emotions playing on his face – relief, confusion, and happiness all at once. "How did you survive? What happened after the attack?"

Sabo took a deep breath, attempting to compose himself. "It's a long story, but I managed to escape from the Goa Kingdom after the tragedy. I owe my life to the revolutionaries who rescued me from drowning and took me under their safety."

Luffy's eyes sparkled with excitement even though he was clueless about worldly affairs, "Revolutionary Army?! That sounds so awesome, Sabo!"

Ace punched Sabo playfully on the shoulder, "You've always been the responsible one. I should've known you'd find a way to survive. But, man, it's good to have you back!"

Sabo chuckled, feeling the weight of loneliness lifting off his shoulders. Luffy, the optimist, grabbed Sabo by the arm, "C'mon, Sabo! We've got a lot to catch up on. I wanna hear all about the Revolutionary Army and your adventures!"

"I am also curious!!"

As Sabo began recounting his adventures, the trio chatted happily in the quiet spot on the outskirts of Windmill Village. Sitting together on the edge of a small cliff overlooking the vast sparkling ocean Sabo shared stories of the wider world he had experienced and the amazing people he met on this journey. The wind gently rustled the straw hat on Luffy's head as Sabo shared his experiences of joining the revolutionary army and his eventual meeting with 'Victor and Robin' who helped him return home. Ace listened intently, occasionally exchanging glances with Luffy, who absorbed every detail with wide-eyed fascination. After a while, the initial shock of Sabo's return began to fade, replaced by a sense of nostalgia and brotherhood as they shared a cup of sake that Ace had stolen from Curly Dadan.

"I am going to become the King of the Pirates!!" Ace declared with determination as he looked at the vast seas. 'And protect my brothers'

"I will become the greatest Revolutionary!!" Sabo announced his new goals with firm intent. 'And protect the world.'

"I am going to ..." Luffy announced his simple dream which was quite hard to accomplish but that couldn't stop others from rooting for him. Unbeknownst to them, Garp had also heard their talks causing him to clench his fists and roar in anger and frustration.

"Brats!!! Who taught you to drink alcohol??" A loud roar brought them out of their stupor.

*Thump* x3

"Naniiii!!!"x3

The three of them instantly had PTSD when they heard the Old Man's voice followed by the regular dose of the infamous 'fist of love'. Garp was in a quite jolly mood today after Sabo's return so he spared them from his demonic marine training, for today.

"Old man!! I'll beat you up one day..." Ace and Luffy shouted angrily as they clenched the bump on their heads.

"Keep dreaming brats! Go hunt some animals for now!! We will have barbeque today...we will have a couple of guests joining us for dinner." He ordered Luffy, Sabo, and Ace while picking his nose carelessly.

"Fooodd!!" Luffy yelled happily with shining eyes but suddenly his excitement died down. "But Grandpa, your cooking sucks!!"

"Nani??" Garp was a little shocked after hearing Luffy spitting factxx. When did this little glutton start caring about the taste of the food?

*Thump*

"Ouchh!!"

"Hahahaha," Sabo laughed heartily when he saw the nostalgic scenes. He finally had the familiar feeling of his home in Windmill Village, chaotic yet peaceful. "Let's do it guys, the one who catches the most wins."

"Bring it on!! I'll show you how much stronger I have become." Ace said while flexing his muscles. Luffy not to be outdone also flexed his noodle arms and said happily, "Sabooo! I have also been training my devil fruit power, I'll show you the amazing things I can do now with my gum-gum fruit!!"

Robin POV:

Victor leisurely walked through the grasslands surrounded by windmills as he gave her a piggyback ride on his back. While they were walking down the mountain trails, the heels of her shoes luckily broke by accident and she was now snuggling on her husband's broad back. Despite her initial shyness, she found a comfortable position in his hands which were gripping her soft thighs as she tightly clung to him like a panda.

"I think we are reaching the outskirts of the village, you can put me down, baby!! What would others think if someone saw us like this??" Robin couldn't help but feel a rush of embarrassment tinged with amusement as she imagined the scandalized whispers that might follow if anyone caught sight of them in such an intimate embrace. A grown woman being carried intimately by her husband, her broken shoes dangling limply in her hand. Would they laugh? Would they whisper behind their backs?

"Shhh!! Just stay put a little longer." Victor chuckled, his warm laughter echoing through the tranquil landscape. "Who cares what others think, my love? Let them be them, let us be us."

Yet, beneath the surface of her playful protest, there lingered a deep sense of contentment, a warmth that spread through her as she nestled against Victor's sturdy frame. As long as she had Victor by her side, she believed she could weather any storm that came their way. So she nestled her head against his shoulders, breathing in the familiar scent of Victor. Robin closed her eyes, letting the gentle rhythm of Victor's movements lull her into a sense of peace.

Victor carried Robin effortlessly towards the windmills that stood tall against the backdrop of the morning sun. The blades of the windmill turned gracefully with the winds, casting elongated shadows across the golden fields. Robin marveled at the sight, the beauty of the landscape unfolding before her like a painting come to life.

"Why did you bring me here, Victor?" Robin asked, her curiosity piqued as she gazed up at the towering structure.

Victor smiled as they started to float to the top of the windmill using his telekinetic powers, "The view will be worth it Robin!" Victor carefully set Robin down on her feet, his hands lingering on her waist for a moment before releasing her. Robin felt a pang of reluctance at the loss of his warm touch.

"Thank you, Mr. Knight," she teased, her eyes sparkling with love.

"Anything for my Queen," Victor replied with a smile. Robin gasped in awe when she took a look at the breathtaking scenery from the top. From their lofty perch, they could see for miles in every direction, the serene village, the rolling hills, and lush meadows stretching out to the horizon. The wind whispered through the blades of the windmills, its gentle caress stirring Robin's hair as she gazed out at the world below.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, her voice filled with wonder. As they sat atop the windmill, holding hands, basking in the beauty of the landscape spread out before them, Robin felt a rush of emotions welling up inside her. The moment seemed perfect, the air tinged with a sense of magic and possibility.

"Victor," she began, her voice trembling with emotion as she turned to face him, "there's something you should know."

Victor looked at her curiously. "What is it, my dear?"

Robin took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest from nervousness. She reached out and took his hands in hers, feeling the warmth of his touch grounding her as she calmed herself a little. "I think... I'm pregnant," she whispered, her voice barely more than a breathless sigh.

"..."

Victor's eyes widened in shock and realization, his gaze shifting from her face to her slightly chubby abdomen. It took a moment for the news to sink in, but when it did, a mixture of astonishment and pure happiness lit up his features.

"You mean...?" he stammered, barely able to find the words.

Robin nodded, a radiant smile spreading across her face. "We're going to have a baby, Victor. We're going to be parents."

"How...We have been using protection..." He had so many questions. He had planned the whole trip to the Grand Line to minute details but this was not inside his calculations.

"Mexica!" Robin replied matter-of-factly.

Victor's mind raced as he tried to recall the details of their recent escapades. A flush of embarrassment colored his cheeks as he realized the implications of their intimate moments. How could he have overlooked such a crucial detail? In the heat of passion, amidst the beauty of their shared moments, he had let his guard down, swept away by the depth of his love for Robin. He had been raw-dawgging his chick for days on the isolated island.

"I... I didn't realize..." Victor stammered, his voice tinged with a mixture of surprise and shock. His mind whirled with a myriad of emotions, ranging from joy to a hint of apprehension for the responsibility he had to bear this early. Parenthood was a monumental step, one that carried with it a world of unknowns and challenges where Lunarian Bloodline is cursed in a practical sense. Add the blood of Ohara and the Government will send an armada to hunt them down if this news ever spreads out.

Robin reached out, gently placing a hand on his arm, her touch grounding him amid his whirlpool of thoughts. "It's okay, Victor," she reassured him, her voice soft and comforting. "We'll figure it out together, just like we always do. Trust me!!"

He pulled her into a tight embrace, his heart overflowing with love for the woman who stood before him, radiant with the news of their impending parenthood. "I can't believe it," he whispered, his voice choked with emotions as he began to tear up. "This is... incredible. Robin, you keep giving me one surprise after another."

"You finally figured out my plan to keep you for myself genius?" She said playfully with a dazzling smile making his heart skip a beat. "You are very breedable you know!"

"Grandpa Adlof will surely be proud, let go meet a good doctor soon," Victor's gaze softened as he looked into her eyes assuringly, finding solace in the depths of her unwavering love and support. In that moment, they stood atop the windmill, surrounded by the beauty of the world and the promise of new beginnings and new additions to his family. Victor felt a surge of determination coursing through his veins. 'I need to get a lot stronger physically possible...So strong that the World Government wouldn't dare to confront me upfront.'
