Towards the village

Carl found himself in a contemplative position, pondering over the recent turn of events. He died from being struck by a truck and was then transported to another world, particularly the One Piece world, a realm filled with peculiar powers.

As he was contemplating his fate and trying to come to terms with it, he observed the new system he had just acquired.

Upon seeing this, Carl immediately understood it to be akin to statistics in an RPG game. So, he proceeded to explore the shop section.

In the shop section, there were categories for weapons, clothing, vehicles, food, and hairstyles. Carl perused the weapons section, noticing that the prices were quite steep. He then checked out the food and other sections.

Currency exchange turned out to be quite simple: $1 was equivalent to 1 berry. So, if he wanted to acquire other items, he had to accumulate as much money as possible.

While Carl was pondering how to earn money, he heard gunfire.

Reacting swiftly, Carl ran towards the source of the sound, retrieving his M4 from storage along the way.

After a tiresome run, he arrived at the scene. Observing from a safe distance, why did he do that? Well, simply because he had never been in such a situation before.

So, he waited for the right moment and observed the people there.

After a while, he decided to intervene, but before doing so, he decided to purchase armor for $500 and a knife for $10.

With everything ready, Carl advanced cautiously. He had calculated that there were at least 15 enemies, 8 of them armed with rifles, while the others wielded swords or staffs.

Approaching one of the lone bandits, Carl swiftly silenced him from behind, dragging him into the woods and dispatching him with his knife.

As he looked at the lifeless body, a strange feeling stirred within Carl.

"Come on, Carl, you'll be doing this often in the future," a voice echoed in his mind.

He resumed his hunt, heading towards a house on the outskirts of the village, where he heard laughter from men and the cries of women.

Carl knew what was happening inside, so he decided to eliminate them.

After some time, he decided to use his M4. Slowly approaching the entrance, he heard the voices of four individuals, three of them armed with rifles. This presented an opportunity to reduce the number of rifle users among the enemy.

Positioning himself strategically, as he had seen in action movies, Carl burst into the room.

Without hesitation, he aimed his weapon and opened fire.

"Dorr dorr dorr dorr dorr."

Caught off guard, they were easily subdued by Carl.

The woman in the house screamed, but Carl silenced her.

The gunfire drew the attention of the bandits, who immediately headed towards the source of Carl's attack.

"Come on, Carl, just ten more," he thought to himself, encouraging himself for the upcoming battle.
