"Boss, they are within our range. And it seems there's a noble on board."

Hearing this, Captain Malik said, "Defeat them, but don't sink their ship."

After that, the pirates began to aim their cannons at Carl's fleet, while Carl's fleet was also ready for battle.

"Boss, the ships are in battle formation, and the crew is ready to fight," said one of Carl's subordinates.

Carl nodded at the report.

Then the enemy ships began to fire their cannons at Carl's ship.

'BOOM BOOM BOOM'

Three cannonballs were fired from the enemy ship.

Carl's fleet retaliated. Thus, the naval battle of 4 vs 5 began.

'BOOM BOOM BOOM'

The sound of cannon fire echoed across the sea. Due to the limited technology of cannons in this world, the attacks from both sides were less accurate.

As the two ships approached, several cannonballs began to hit the ships. One of the enemy ship's masts was destroyed, immobilizing it.

As the ship was immobilized, two of Carl's ships began to attack it. When Carl's ships got close, they started throwing ropes and Carl's crew jumped in for close combat.

With more advanced pistols and each member wearing armor, Carl's crew had the advantage, despite being outnumbered.

Gunshots and sword clashes were heard on the ship. Four other pirate ships approached to provide assistance.

But, of course, their efforts to get close were blocked by Carl's other three ships.

On the pirate ship.

I am Aro, a long-necked pirate crew member. When I was told to fight another ship, I was excited because it meant earning a lot of money.

But it turned out the fleet they wanted to rob fought back fiercely.

And now Aro was fighting Carl's crew, noticing the sophistication of the enemy's weapons.

Seeing an enemy approaching with a sword, Aro took up his swords and blocked the attack.

But unfortunately, due to the difference in the quality of the swords, Aro's weapon shattered, and he was immediately stabbed by Carl's crew.

As he lay dying, he saw other pirate members experiencing the same fate. They had to face the power of these otherworldly weapons.

Eventually, Carl's three ships and the four pirate ships converged on the immobilized ship.

Captain Malik, seeing his crew defeated, grew angry and charged forward.

"Die, you bastards," he shouted as he jumped onto the ship.

"The captain is attacking, you're all dead!"

Seeing their captain attack, the crew's spirits lifted and they began to leap into battle.

Not wanting to be outdone, Carl's crew jumped onto the ship and shouted.

They shot at the pirates, surprising Captain Malik with the power of their weapons.

Seeing the battle, Carl did not remain idle. He pulled out his M4 and began shooting at the pirates from his ship.

Carl's attacks caused many pirates to fall.

Seeing Carl's attack, Captain Malik redirected his attention to Carl.

"Hey, you must be their leader, you're dead, kid."

As Captain Malik approached, Carl drew his sword.

Then his sword turned black, the color emanating from Carl's hand.
