As Captain Malik approached, Carl drew his sword.

Then his sword turned black, the color emanating from Carl's hand.

Carl raised his large, muscular hand and aimed a punch at Malik.

Carl raised his sword to block Malik's punch.

When Malik's hand made contact with Carl's sword, Malik felt pain in his hand.

Not wanting to think about anything else, Malik threw another punch, and Carl dodged it again.

Seeing their captain's transformation, the pirates cheered excitedly.

"I am a giraffe fruit user; no one has ever survived when I use this power," said Captain Malik.

An X-shaped wound appeared on Malik's chest.

Malik knelt, holding his chest as blood continued to pour out.

"Hey, do you know? You are very weak, yet you act so arrogant," said Carl as he approached the still-kneeling Malik.

When Carl was in front of him, Malik launched a very fast punch at Carl.

Fortunately, Carl, who had already mastered Kenbunshoku Haki, easily dodged the attack.
