I'm Rich!!!

Jacks eyes were locked onto the glittering crystals on the caves walls. Breaking out of his trance he rushed over to the wall, brought his hand up and touched the shiny things. Mentally bringing up the sell function on the store, he tried to sell them.

[Saphire gem Price: $4,000,000 berries Yes/No]

His heart skipped a few beats when he saw how much just this one gem sold for. Snapping out of his trance, he quickly sold the remainder of the gems, bringing his new account balance to a beautful $64,094,700 berries. "FUCK YEAH!!" Jack shouted. If there was something in this cave, it now knew it wasn't alone. Shooting his eyes all around the cave, he realized this was all that was left to the cave. Finding no signs of any form of life, also no more gems, then Jack walked back to the entrance to the cave.

Opening the shop, he quickly went to the Haki Manuals and purchased Observation Book for $10,000,000 berries and the Armement book for $30,000,000 berries. His funds went down to $24,094,700 berries, but it was so worth it. He felt the familiar feeling of something going into his inventory. Quickly opening up his inventory, he selected the the Observation Haki book and read the contents.

[in order for someone or something wanting to learn how to sense everything around them using Haki, they need to know how to send their Will outside of their bodies...]

The system continued giving him an explaination, and when it was done he had the understaninding on how it works. He would have to close his eyes, or blindfold, and push his Will out in all directions like a sonar wave while scanning its sourroundings, then brings the scan back to his memorries. It was faster to have someone around that could direct their intent at you, allowing you to be able o fucus on a single thing. The more it was used the better his control, the faster the scan went, sometimes when activated, goes so fast, can glimps into the future.

Remembering the scenes from the anime, where Reyleigh beat Luffy senseless while he was blindfolded, he immediatley realized something. That he had no intention to get beaten by a saddistic old alcoholic geezer. Or anyone for that matter. Jack practiced what the book said, and after many hours of trial and error, he felt something. He couldn't place what it was, but he could swear he felt someting near him. It may not seem like much, but it was huge to be able to manifest Will, and to send it out after only a few hours. Satisfied with himself, Jack thought it would be a good idea to take a break.

Looking around the area in front of the cave, Jack walked to the river not far off and got a drink. Thinking it would be a really good idea to not have to walk back and forth all the time, he bought a few wooden barrels and filled them with water, then stored them in his system. For one of them he tried selling it, but the price wasn't much more than the barrel itself. Figuring it would be better to have the water, he just stored them all in his inventory.

Walking back to the cave he realized that it was really late. Setting his tent up a few feet inside the cave Jack climbed in, bought some food and went to bed. The next morning the first thing he did was read the Armement Haki manual while eating breakfast. It was fairly understandable now that he had a better understanding of his Will, and moving it around his body. The manual gave him simialler instructions as the Observation Haki book, but now he he had to infuse his Will within his body, not around. Doing this could enhance the power of a punch, or lessen the attacks of others. Coating weapons or objects was a mixture of both Observation Haki and Armement Haki. He had to manifest the his Will outside of his body, but instead of letting it spread out around him, he had to focus it in something else. It wasn't to difficult in theory, but actually doing it was a different story.

After a full day of almost constant focus on it, only taking a break to eat, or recover his Will, he still couldn't do it, but he definately felt he was really close to getting that first step. As he was laying down in his bed, he looked through the store a little bit more. He looked to see if their were any ways to remove the curse of not being able to swim once he consumed a Devil Fruit, but he couldn't find any. 'Guess with great power, comes a huge pain in the dick punishment.' Jack thought. After looking at a few things for awhile he closed the window and went to sleep.

For a few weeks Jack did nothing but train the two Haki's, or continue to explore the island, hoping to find another goldmine like the cave, or an actual gold mine. He had also learned a few more things about the shop. He could't buy anything that breathed, and that selling an item he purchased would only get him a small portion of his Berries back. He also found out that he couldn't sell anything that couldn't fit into his inventory. He figured that out by trying to sell the island itself. It was just a passing thought, he didn't think it would work anyway due tot there being forms of life, and also because that would just be stupid. He might've been able to sell the plannet if that worked. He wasn't too sure how big his inventory was, but considering that he stored over 500 trees in there, and it still wasn't full, he guessed it was massive.

By the time Jack finished what he called his, Beginner stage training two months had passed. He could now get a view of his surroundings up to 20ft in all directions when he focused his Will, but he also figured out how he could release tiny amounts of Will passively to sense around 3ft in every direction. His Armement training wasn't as good as his Observation, but he could now manifest it over one hand. There were a lot more steps in the manual before he could say that he had it mastered, but he was at least making progress. One evening as Jack was eating dinner, he started to think about what his next step would be once he mastered Haki. "There is more to this world than Haki. I'm gonna need weapon training, and some combat training if I'm gonna go out there and actually survive." Jack mumbled to himself before finding some training manuals. They wouldn't make him a master anytime soon, but he imagined that they would help prepare him far more than your average pirate. The rest would come from his own expreiences.

The next morning Jack started a new dailey schedule. For the first hour of the day he would do some physical training, then an hour each for the Haki's. He had only purchased training manuals in hand to hand combat, swordsmanship, and gunmanship. 'No point in trying to master them all. If thats even possible' he thought while buying the nesessary training equipment. He trained in everthing for a few hours a day, clear until he figured he was proficient enough with everything, that no one in the East Blue could beat him. After all his training he realized that he had been in this world for a little over 8 months. What he also realized was that winter was fast approaching his little island, and that his tent/cave combo wasn't gonna be enough for him. Figuring that it was time to leave his island, not only because he didn't want to camp for the winter, but because his funds had diminished greatly. With all the training manuals, the food, clothes, weapons, and ammunition he was left with $7,890,000 berries.

Looking in the Ship section of the shop, he figured the Shop was trying bankrupt him. Small fishing boats were over a million berries, and the little plain wooden row boats were in the hundred thousands. After hours of searching, and finally deciding to bite the bullet, he bought a little boat for $4,500,000 berries. It had a nice little cabin to sleep in, along with a bathroom and a small kitchen. He made sure to be fully stocked up on everything he would need from the island, then decided he would set sail first thing in the morning. That night before bed a thought struck him. 'Where do I want to go first? Also where the hell am I?!!' Inside his head he was cursing up a storm. 'I'm not some rubber idiot with plot armour. I can't just set off in some random direction and hope for the best.' He thought before going into his shop and buying a map of the East blue along with a compass and "The Beginners Guide to Navigation".

After a glancing through the book, his eyes grew heavy to a point that he couldn't keep them open. 'This book could put a chipmunk on crack to sleep.' Were his final thoughts before drifting off to sleep.
