Chapter 6

It has been 8 years since I found Cain on the sea shore and it has been quite eventful and fun.

Cain is a very mysterious child who is quite mature for his age but at the same time very immature for his intellect which he has shown off quite proudly.

His strength is completely off the charts for a child, the only person who might have been stronger at this age is the now famous pirate known as Big Mom. She is now around 45 years old and is widely known for her steel balloon defense and her incredible strength with which she could defeat even giants at a very young age.

He is already physically my equal which is very impressive because I have been to sea for a few adventures and I have also fought quite a few powerful people and also defended and fought off many pirates from the island.

There is also the new monster known as Kaido who led his kingdoms army to victory and I now also a pirate.

The worst part is they are all part of one group known as the Rocks Pirates.

Cain is very curious about the world and loves to find out new things for himself and puts slot of emphasis on the word 'freedom'. Maybe it is because of the will of D which drives a lot of our clan members or just his own obsession with it.

For the past year I have beate...no I have trained him to be able to fight in many situations and his physical abilities just started growing faster.

He has started creating his own style of unarmed combat which he uses a variety of kicks, punches grapples and throws to subdue me.

He has learned very fast almost as if his body was made to battle. The ease with which he can learn and create his own style along with how his body moves is amazing. He is now able to match and at times even beat me though part of it is because his strength, speed and stamina seemed to continuously increase and is now stronger than me and the only reason I am still able to hold my own or beat him is because of my experience.

He has grown to be quite the looker but still has visible signs of immaturity on his face after all he is only 8 years old.

His pinkish red eyes are the most striking feature when you look at him, they seem to be able to see through your being and give a feeling of both power and peace.

I myself am becoming older and I don't think I can keep him on this island much longer.

It will be lonely when he leaves, I hope that wherever he goes he be safe and sound.

While we have trained in hand to hand combat I have also told and showed him about the basics of using the sword. I myself am not that great only having reached the realm of cutting metal but I told him of what to expect. I am sure that with his talent he will reach a great height sooner or later.

It was this year where he started asking me for advice on where to visit, how to use and steer a boat and how to read the weather which he learnt very quickly.

Since the last 2 weeks Cain has been able to fight me without losing and even winning majority of the time. He told me that he will soon start his journey to explore the South Blue.

I have built a small boat for him which should be enough for the short journey and he knows enough to build another when needed.

I am also thinking of traveling around for a bit when he leaves as I have spent quite the number of years here already.

I guess the desire for adventure is strong within our clan.
