Chapter - 6 Maid of massacre

Amidst the chaos on the deck, the pirates clamored in sheer disbelief.

"Captain, what the devil is that?!" A quiver of fear tinged the voice, echoing the collective disbelief among the crew.

"Gosh, could it be one of those cursed devil fruit powers?" The realization dripped with terror, their eyes glued to the extraordinary sight.

The air hummed with tension as the pirates scurried about, their panicked cries blending into the frenzy. Suddenly, one of their fiercest fighters was hurled away, his life slipping through his fingers, blood-soaked and gasping for breath.

"Blimey! He's just a swordsman! And without a sword, he's a wreaking havoc!" Captain Bree's thunderous voice resonated over the commotion, his anger painting his features with an even darker hue.

With a forceful strike of his mace, he obliterated one of his own, the crew's favorite, in a fit of rage.But amidst the pandemonium, the spotlight was on Saori.

Her swift and stunning maneuvers had silenced even the boldest of hearts. Whispers of awe spread like wildfire among the pirates, a mix of horror and admiration etched on their faces."Can you believe this? Cutting a mast from afar like that, it's a monster!"

"Is that really a devil fruit power? Incredible!"

As the chaos ensued, Saori stood tall, a figure both feared and revered. Her prowess had struck a nerve, sending a shiver down the spine of even the hardiest of pirates.

"Deal with her! We can't let her wreak more havoc!" Captain Buri barked his orders, determination and dread evident in his voice."Long live Captain Buri!" "Yes, Captain!"

The air crackled with tension, the pirates' expressions a mix of fear, disbelief, and determination in the face of this unexpected and formidable foe.

"Got it, let's take her down along with the pirate crew on the other side."

"Captain, I'll lead the charge!" Said one of the enthusiastic pirate ,Hearing Buri's command, the crew surged with renewed vigor, brandishing their swords as if infused with a sudden surge of energy.

They charged one by one, only to be killed at Saori's hands, falling one after another. The sheer speed and skill of saori were astonishing, that terrified Buri. Saori's powers eclipsed any of the pirates on that ship; within moments, more than half of them were killed.

Meanwhile, on Luca's side, the crew of over 300 pirates stood stunned. Their comments painted a clear picture: it was a hopelessly one-sided massacre , lacking any semblance of a fair fight.

Buri, agitated by the unfolding events, lunged straight for Saori. "You damn bitch, Die and rot in hell!" he bellowed.

"Shave." Saori's eerie grin emerged before she vanished into thin air.

"What the... where did she go?" Buri, startled, scanned the surroundings, wielding his mace. "Is this some devil fruit trick again?"

Abruptly, a figure materialized behind Buri, landing a punch on his back.

"You're here... I've got you now!" Buri's initial panic twisted into a sinister smile. Without hesitation, he swung his mace but

Saori anticipated Buri's move,

swiftly countering his attack from behind. The clash was swift and unexpected, both fighters locked in a tense confrontation.

Buri's face contorted with surprise and then twisted into a grin. "So you're here!" he declared triumphantly.

Immediately turning around, the mace in his right hand hit the back without even looking .

Saori's figure appeared on the deck under the main mast. She looked at the two-meter-high Buri, and was a little surprised:

"How can someone...who looks as dumb as a bull can use Observation haki ?!"

That's right, the reason why Buri was able to turne around and attacked saori the moment she appeared behind him.

Was because he knows how to use observational haki and predicted saori's movement and her sudden appearance.

That's why without seeing her , he swung his mace backwards without hesitation.

Unfortunately, Saori's Observational haki's level was greater than him so she was able prepare herself for his attack and dodged it.

"What? Observational Haki?" Buri looked at Saori below, not understanding what she was talking about.

But Buri knew that Saori had the same ability as himself, which surprised him, and he immediately asked her, "What is that?"

"So you don't know!" Saori heard it and said clearly:

"It seems that your observation haki was awakened by accident. I didn't expect you to have such a good talent for observation haki."

"You have the same ability as me. This is the first time I have seen it in the west blue. And you call this observational haki?"

Seeing that Saori mentioned the word observational haki again, Buri was very curious.

His ability has awakened a year ago when he was almost killed by a naval branch colonel.

Then he relied on this ability to counter-kill the naval colonel,

A large part of his bounty is because of his this ability to predict his opponents moves because of which he is one of the most powerful pirate in the west blue.

"To be honest, it's really a waste of your talent. You should go to the grand line, otherwise you are really just wasting your potential being a pirate of the west blue."

Saori laughed at him with a disdainful face.

"You..." Buri was furious.

", I'll explain it to you, what is haki " Riding on Buri's anger, Saori explained lightly:

"Haki is divided into three types, one of which is the observational haki it allows you to predict the opponents moves, scan an area , know people's surface thoughts and in the most advance form it allows you to see 5 seconds ahead in the future ."

"As long as you train your haki, you can make the range bigger, and also increase and sharpen your other senses , observation haki gives the sixt sense,"

"This is the kind of power used by every pirate worth his salt in the grand line to deal with those with devil fruit abilities,"

"And haki is the potential power that all human beings possess. This power is spiritual and innate that exists in every one just like instinct,"

"However, the vast majority of people are not aware of this power, or are unable to use it throughout their lives,"

"But you have the talent for observation haki , as you awakened it without any proper guidance or a teacher."

Saori also explained to Buri what observational haki is! !

Buri's pupils shrank at the revelation , thinking that this was his unique talent.

Unexpectedly, this powert can be possessed by anyone through proper training.

At the same time, this woman has the same power as him.

And that this woman's haki was stronger than his.

Buri delusionaly believed he still had a shot at victory.

Suddenly, Saori surged forward, landing a forceful punch directly on Bree's nose. A sharp 'click' echoed

the sound of bone breaking.

Bree was flung backward, crashing hard onto the deck, robbed of breath , and pushed in the hands of death.

Saori observed the chaos with an air of calmness. "Haki is but the manifestation of your willpower and scums like you don't have much of that," she stated assertively.

The remaining Buri Pirates were instantly stricken with terror. Their captain had been killed by this angel looking woman in a maids clothes before them.

The remaining crew members leaped into the sea, desperate to flee. None dared to stay, they even for a second never thought of winning against her.

In the aftermath, the King's Pirates(name of Lucas pirate group ) claimed all the Buri Pirates' treasures. A week later, they found themselves in the South of west blue.
